    Tony's Home Improvement
I've only left one other review in my entire life. I am leaving this review in order to spare others of the frustrations that come with hiring Tony. I was given Tony's name via a friend of mine that has been recommended him, so I didn't check him out online first (big mistake). Although Tony started off well with replacing my shed roof and installing gutters/downspouts (except the one he forgot), he then crashed and burned in ways that were deplorable. I honestly dont know how he stays in business with the way he treats people. It was only later that I saw he had some pretty bad reviews online. The reviews highlighted the same kind of experience Ive had with Tony: he goes completely MIA, he breaks things and doesnt make things right, he lies and he absolutely refuses to communicate. His guys broke a glass shelf, scraped up and dented a stained ceiling beam with a ladder, and installed lengths of quarter round on the ceiling instead of by the floor due to poor communication between he and his guys. He made/installed all my gutters/downspouts and then forgot one and never came back to complete the job. Multiple times he would schedule to come out and then no show/no call and never respond to my texts or phone calls. I gently told him how it didn't work for me to rearrange my schedule to wait to only have a no show from him. He said, "Oh, I was so busy, it wasn't even a thought in my mind." I actually made the choice to go to his house to retrieve window screens that he held hostage for over 5 weeks in the prettiest time of the year up here because he just wouldnt give them back or communicate. When I said that I had previously told him that this incognito/incommunicado thing that he does doesn't work for me. All the said was, "I know." He uses the rain as an excuse all the time when 90% of my jobs are inside jobs. The majority of the screens were in worse shape than when I gave them to him: bent, dented, and the screens were put on so tight that they were already starting to rip out on the sides before I ever reinstalled them. PLEASE BEWARE and look elsewhere for your handyman needs.

    Improvement Pros, LLC
Jose was a complete professional. He did exactly what I asked him to do and even asked me if I needed other things done that I hadn't even thought of. I appreciated that immensely. Great communication and professional service, yet spoke to me as though we had known each other for years. I really like that. I will definitely be having him out to my home again next spring when I have some staining work to do.

    JOHN MILLS PAINTING SERVICE
He was right on time for both the estimate and the interior painting work.  And his work was flawless!  On the raw-wood bar, he applied three coats of finish and filled in all the nail holes; the bar looks beautiful now.  On the windows he repaired the cracked caulk and repainted; his work was so good that I can't even see that the window edges were repaired.  The same goes for the small cracks in the wall that he repaired.  He was very polite and conscientious in our home.  I would definitely recommend John Mills.

    Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs
Tom St John came to the house and discussed a number of possible jobs we need done. He provided a detailed list with estimates.  We were not able to afford the complete set of jobs, but were able to select the two listed above.
Tom arrived on time, gave careful and complete explanations of all the work he was to perform.  He worked quickly, quietly and carefully.  He thoroughly cleaned up afterwards and hauled away all debris.   It took him about a day and a half to complete the job and we are very pleased with the final product.  Angie's List gave us a 15% senior discount so our final cost was $1,150.

    Tony's Home Improvement
It was a pleasure to work with Tony and his men.  He showed up on time every day, worked hard, kept the job moving along without interruption, cleaned up daily and finished on time.  He is a multi-talented man with a great can-do attitude.

    Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs
They arrived on schedule and finished the job in a timely manner. The workers were experienced and conscientious. After the job was complete, they cleaned up the mess and we paid the price we agreed on. The end result is a good job that blends in with the undamaged areas.

    Handyman Connection of Colorado Springs
We had a good experience overall with Handyman Connection. They came out and gave us an estimate right away and gave us a $50 coupon since we contacted them through Angie's List. Initially they couldn't get to our project for about a month but their schedule cleared up and they came out two weeks after the estimate. We provided the materials and we worked out a design for our stairs. We got good communication from the office and we enjoyed working with Tom. We would use them again.

    HELPING HANDS ENTERPRISES
There was allot of differing opinions on how to correctly install heat tape and which was the insulation used with it.  John helped me get to the bottom of the whole mess and made sure he had correct info on the correct way to do it all.  He did an incredibly detailed job and spent allot of time getting it right.  I was a little worried he was going to charge me for all that time-  but no-  he was VERY reasonable!!  I will definately have him back for any other issues I have.
