    The first car went without a hitch. The company had more problem finding a driver from IN to CO. We were flexible on the time so it was not a problem for us. They were great. Sometimes a bit slow to let us know what was going on but were very gracious about our frequent calls. I would go with them again!

    I had them check the why the vehicle was overheating.  They had the car for the afternoon.  They called and told me that I needed valve work on a 2008 Yukon with 133,000 miles.  The cost would start at $1,900 if it was just one valve that needed machining.  I asked the owner what he would do if it was his vehicle and wanted to keep it.  He said that he would replace the engine.  They called and told me that it would cost $5, 600 to have the engine replaced.  I was charged $55 for their diagnosis.
    I took the vehicle to the dealership.  They said there was no way there were any engine issues, but it did need a radiator.  They also said that I did not have any front brakes left.  4 Mile drove the vehicle twice and never said anything about needing brakes.
    The question that I have for 4 Mile is - where they trying to take advantage of a senior female or are they that incompetent in diagnosing issues.

    The first thought was that the fuel pump had failed due to no fuel pressure. The pump was replaced but that was not the problem.  The problem was then traced to the distributor assembly which was replaced.  This solved the problem.  I was not charged for the fuel pump or its replacement.

    The people at 4 Mile are extremely friendly and professional.

    Excellent--- He, Steve, listened to our specifications on the vehicle and looked for quite a few weeks to bring us "candidates" for our inspection. As always, the transaction was smooth, quick and to the point when we made our final decision on the vehicle.

    This is the third vehicle Steve has helped us out with and we have never been disappointed.

    They are excellent.  I only ever had to go back one time on repairs that they did in all these 20 years.  It was one minor issue and they repaired it immediately.  They are not cheap but their work is always impeccable.  They are very thorough.

    Took a LOT longer than anticipated, but the work got done and the quality was good.  They gave me a complete printout of everything they felt I should have fixed, either now or sometime soon.

    The Honda dealer said I needed new brake pads, so I went to the local Brakes Plus to have the work done.  They inspected the brakes and said that I didn't need new pads at all, and suggested that I check back in another 10, 000 miles or so.  They did recommend that I have the brake fluid replaced so I had that done as well as an oil change.  I would highly recommend this branch of the chain to anyone.

    I went there on March 19 to have the front brakes on my truck serviced. I had taken the truck to the Toyota dealer for recall work a few weeks earlier and had them check the brakes; they said the front ones were worn but no other problems. I waited until I was paid again to take it in to have the brakes replaced-- as the dealer is an hour drive from my home, I elected to take it to a local shop. I took it to Big O. First, it took me 2 1/2 hours to get an estimate. The first estimate they presented me was for $1400.00--- it included a lot of things I did NOT come in for. I asked how much for just the brake pads. He said oh, the rotors are scored as well so they have to be replaced, too. The Toyota dealer had said they were fine but I elected to have them go ahead an provide the service as a precaution-- I tow a horse trailer frequently and it is imperative that the brakes are in top working order. Had the work done for $5xx.xx, Three hours later, I am on my way. Skip to April 18-- my husband and I notice an odd vibration in the front end of the truck. The tires were replaced in Feb 2013; so they are in good shape. Find out that 4 of the 6 lug nuts on one front wheel have vibrated out! The whole front wheel is trying to vibrate off the truck! So, my husband takes it to another Big O tires in Colorado Springs-- where we both work; and they were kind enough to change out some of the lug nuts from other wheels so at least the one front wheel won't fly off on our way home. I should also note that the vehicle has not been serviced anywhere else-- Big O in Woodland Park was the last to touch it. I went back to the original store in Woodland Park on April 19. When I went back, the manager was very nonchalant- oh, here's some new lug nuts. Really???? Do you understand that if this wheel came off not only could I have been killed but potentially someone else on the road as well? He then tried to insinuate that because it took a few weeks it may not really be their fault but in good faith they were replacing the 4 lug nuts. OK, so only on one wheel 4 of the 6 vibrate off just out of "bad luck"? I was born at night, not last night. Geez, couldn't be because you guys got distracted and didn't torque them down properly, could it ? At least they could offer would be refund the labor charges-- I have no problem paying for the parts they used (although I will have an independent place recheck their work) but they did shoddy labor and are not willing to take responsibility for it. However, they seem to feel that just replacing 4 lug nuts is fine. If they were the last tire place on earth and I had a flat, I would walk. The guy managing the place does not seem to understand how close he could have come to a disasterous liability situation. Course, it wasn't him driving the vehicle, was it?
