Appliance Repair reviews in Woodland Park

  • This gentleman knew his facts, and was compassionate and thorough in helping us work through our thinking. There is a $100 fee to drive from their business to Woodland Park. I would recommend this business on their apparent honesty and forthrightness.

  • We just finished a kitchen remodel and our contractor installed the refrigerator with the 20+ year old connections.  However, we discovered a water leak.  The contractor would not fix the line so we had to get Hawes Plumbing to come in and install a new hose and fitting to replace a copper ball valve fitting.  It has not leaked since and we are please with his work.

  • We are very happy with the service provided by Tony. We feel he went above and beyond by still coming to do our repair at 7:00 p.m. He has great attention to detail, double/triple checked all of his work, and cleaned up after himself. The dishwasher is like new and quiet again! We have used D3/A-OK for all of our appliance repairs in the past and will continue to do so in the future (but hopefully we won't need them).

  • In 2011 Parkey's designed and installed a forced air system with a top of the line air filtration system. The system includes both a HEPA filter and UV lights. We did not have air ducts in the house at the time so the installation was very complex. They worked very closely with me, were very helpful and were very sensitive to my requirements. I am very happy with the system.  We discovered last week, however, that the UV lights were not working. I called early the next morning and they had someone at my door by 2pm.  The technician was very professional, very friendly and helpful and located and corrected the source of the problem. He also noticed a another issue with the system which he also corrected.  I was very pleased with how thoroughly he examined and maintained the system, explaining what he was doing along the way.

  • I called and arranged a day to have them come out and repair the oven. Described the make of the oven and the problem and they stated it would be $98 to come up and determine the exact repair. That they had most parts on the truck.
They called a couple days later and I described the problem and make to them again. Verified the day/time they would be there.
On the day of service, I took off work to be home. The company called about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to be here. They asked about the make and model and then called me back about 20 minutes later. Very friendly on the phone. Unfortunately, they informed me that the part would need to be ordered and wouldn't be in until later in the week. It would be the $98 travel and diagnositic fee, $135 for the part and they could give no estimate at all on the labor. And I would need to take another day off from work to be here during the week. They do work Saturdays but they told me it was overtime and not worth the cost. Very dissapointed that I had missed a day of work for no reason. If they could diagnos over the phone on the day they were to come out, why didn't they do it beforehand on one of the other calls? They were very friendly and polite on the phone but ultimately, I could not take another day off nor did I like the idea of getting no estimate for the labor. I'll find another repair company to help me.

  • It went great. George came on a Tuesday, diagnosed the problem and returned on Friday with the correct part to do the repair. Ice maker works fine now. Seemed a little expensive, but beats buying a new fridge. Would have appreciated a little more communication up front about what the repair was going to cost, but would definitely recommend him.

  • I called Reliable due the reviews on Angies list. They were super nice, and right up front told me that due to difficulty in getting parts, they would not be able to provide the service, but also referred me to a provider who might be able to and told me who to avoid. I was very happy with them, and will use them again

  • The owner/ repairman, (one man company) came to my house to evaluate my dishwasher, making noise and not draining properly. On first visit it appeared the motor had foreign material in it , he ran it and got it to drain out, he suggested I let it run a few times and see if the material worked its way out of the motor, if not he offered to replace the motor. He did not charge me for this first visit! (Unheard of in todays society). The motor did not clear itself so I called him back two weeks later - he replaced the motor and charged a total of $45 for labor, $167 for the new motor which seemed fair especially considering he visited my house a total of 3 times throughout this process. I highly recommend this gentleman, he is truly a nice guy and does a very professional job!
