Absolutely the WORST experience ever. Be very cautious of their contract, there is nothing in it to protect you as a home owner. The warranty they offer is worthless.... I canceled my contract before they touched my house and had to pay a fee to do so, but I believe I'm money ahead in the long run.. They tried forcing me to pay a change order after design was complete for something that should of been caught on day one. The guys explaining the change to me were uneducated on the subject and I lost all trust in the company for having any clue what they were doing. If i could give them less than on star I would.

I was amazed at how efficient the electrician worked. He was very nice and friendly and I was appreciative to have this job done since I know very little about electricity and prefer not to deal with it.

Went amazing. Nick and his crew were so professional throughout. I as the homeowner was acting as the general contractor and they were incredibly patient with me and providing cost effective ways of moving through the project. Really felt like they were on our team.

I think they did a good job. I'd grade them as "A" in responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. I wouldn't use them in future. I found out later there were some issues they should have brought to my attention.

Michelle and team are great! I've used them first for my business to install LED lighting in our warehouse - then, in two homes and again in my business for additional electrical outlet installation. Great work every time.

Went fantastically well. Matt is a hard, no nonsense worker. Very conscientious and meticulous! Got all of this done in 4 hours. Very impressed with the work and would hire him and plan to in a heartbeat.

Very reasonable, punctual, and professional. Everything you want when you call for professional help. Helped me go through the no-brainer problems over the phone so I felt better about making the service call and knew the time and service was truly warranted. Also advertises deals on Angie's List and works with you to understand which is most appropriate so you are getting the most for your money.

I was getting my home ready to sell and a friend refereed Maxim Unlimited Handyman & Construction Services. My list of miscellaneous repairs included repairing a few areas of damaged drywall, paint touch up, replacing several non-functioning electrical outlets, replacing two sets of window blinds, and some minor landscaping. Matt was able to schedule my work for the following week. He arrived promptly and after showing him all the work I need done he told me he could complete all the tasks that day. I admit I was a bit skeptical, but he got right to work and efficiently made his way through the checklist of items and completed everything that same day. His attention to detail, knowledge, and efficiency were second to none and I would highly recommend Maxim Unlimited Handyman & Construction Services for any and all of your handyman service needs.

Horribly!  I would not hire this business to hang a closet door.  For starters, Jim (the owner), came to our home to measure our basement and then provide us with a budget.  He did, however we have 9 foot ceilings and he budgeted 8 foot ceilings so the original budget was not even close to accurate.  We also discussed a cutout in the stairwell which he neglected to add into the budget and seemed to have totally forgotten when we actually got started with the framing.  There were major communication issues throughout the entire project with Jim and they started at the beginning.  The start date was pushed back 3 separate times. I would hear nothing from Jim, assume everything was on schedule and email him the day before start to confirm what time he would be arriving.  Three times I was told that was not the plan anymore and he would give me a new start date.
We made it very clear to Jim when he provided the budget that we needed someone to complete framing, drywall, paint and finish carpentry.  The remainder we had already contracted out (thank goodness we did!).  We hired Jim to complete this work.  We did not hire Jim to be a general contractor and bring in subcontractors, which is what he did.  Luckily the framer he brought in knew more than Jim did about framing and did a fantastic job.  Because the framer was so good we kept moving forward with Jim.
The drywall could not have gone worse!  The framer told us that Jim did not intend on completing our drywall himself because he had taken another job and that he was looking for a drywall crew to bring in. The framer told us this. Jim never communicated this. One Friday evening at about 6 pm a drywall crew showed up at our home.  They told us they were there to meet Jim and provide him with a cost to complete the drywall in our basement.  Again, Jim had said nothing to us about the drywall and we already had a budget from Jim for materials and labor for drywall.  Jim never showed and we ended up taking the crew through our basement.  In hindsight, we should have fired Jim then and there and hired this crew.  They were actual drywallers.  Jim did not end up hiring them because apparently they were too expensive.  Again, this information did not come from Jim but from the new drywall crew that ended up showing up unexpectedly one evening.  During all of this Jim had the drywall delivered.  He called one evening and told us the materials would be showing up in about a half hour and could be let the crew in?  We were not even home and of course Jim had no plans of being there himself.  We rushed home and let them in.  This crew ended up destroying a window through which they brought the drywall in and we eventually had to completely replace the window. Not cheap!
Back to the crew (a husband and wife) that Jim did hire to complete our drywall.  Turns out he had never even met this couple in person before.  Apparently he had somehow found their number and hired them over the phone.  He had apparently told them we had 8 foot ceilings because I got an earful when they saw that the ceilings were 9 ft.  I told them to call Jim to work it out and apparently they did and agreed to get started.  Jim professed that these two had been drywalling for 35 years (um, not even close).  They hung the drywall the wrong direction causing need for additional sheets of drywall. They would begin in a room and then randomly move to another room and hang a piece of drywall.  They even started taping and mudding in random places for some reason.  Their work was not the worst problem.  We had given Jim access to our garage code to come in and work while we were at work.  He went ahead and passed this on to this drywall crew.  We found a ton of evidence each time they were in our home and we were gone that they had wandered through our house, into bedrooms, opening drawers, utilizing our kitchen and refrigerator, but the worst was the bathroom.  Without getting too gross, let's just say they went number 2 in 2 different bathrooms and proceeded to wipe their feces all over the toilet and walls.  We continuously were calling and emailing Jim to tell him of the issues and he kept informing us that he had spoken with him and it would not happen again.  The 2nd time they did what they did in the bathroom we told Jim they could not come back to our home, the garage code had been changed and the alarm system was on.  We had a long talk with Jim and he was told that he was to complete the work he was hired to do or we would find someone else.  Jim showed up for a total of 2 days with a new drywall crew and that was all the work he did.
The new crew was normal but also not experienced and incredibly slow.  It took 6 weeks to complete drywall, which we later found out from several contractors should have taken no more than a week.  We ended up spending a ton of money to fix the drywall problems after we finally fired Jim and told him we no longer needed his services.  They had covered 6 electrical outlets and 3 plumbing cleanouts with drywall that we had to find.  The outlets that were cut out were done so poorly that they had to have huge chunks cut out and new pieces put in.
You would be better off to utube the work you need done and do it yourself.  Jim will end up costing you time and money and screw up your house!

I was entirely satisfied with Leading Edge Electric.
They (the owner and an assistant) arrived exactly when the service was scheduled. They introduced themselves and were courteous throughout. They addressed the problem I was having with the switch first and it was resolved quickly.
Then, they then went to work on the dead outlet. As part of this, they inspected the power panel. They made a few adjustments to it, but it was in good shape. Water had killed off the outlet. They showed me the part that was damaged. They indicated it needed to be replaced. The outlet was one of those that has a large plastic box around it that pops open. They indicated that a damaged part was all that needed to be replaced but asked if I wanted to replace the covering too. The outlet cover was old and an eye sore and I was happy to get it entirely replaced. Everything was fixed shortly afterward.
They did an excellent job of explaining everything that they were going to do ahead of time. The business card indicated that the owner was a master electrician and it definitely showed. It was clear they were very capable.
I will use them again the next time I require an electrician and recommend them highly.
