Frankly, I don't know how they calculate the "grades" here...and considering all the As, the average they come up with doesn't seem quite fair. My experience was great, so I feel compelled to leave a review saying so. They called a few days in advance to let me know when they were coming, arrived on time, and were super courteous (even declined to park on my driveway after I said they could--because they said the truck leaked oil). Scored points right there. They worked in super windy and less than ideal conditions and maintained a good attitude the whole time. They cleaned up before they left, and I was happy with the end result. We had some scary looking brickwork (this is a 1939 house) that is way less scary now. I'm very grateful for that. They also charged a more than fair price, so I can only say that I have no complaints and would definitely recommend them.

My brick house was built in the 70's. The brick was multiple colors of beige and dark brick. It had an outdated look. I called a masonry company that had done repair work on my home.. I wanted the brick painted for a more uniform color and modern look.  This masonry company did not do brick painting ,only repairs. They did not recommended brick painting. They referred me to Brickimaging that does brick staining. Brick staining is an alternative to painting. Steve and his crew were friendly and professional. They went right to work and did a fantastic job.  I am very happy with the new look of my brick house.

    Mr Chimney & Home Masonry
Chuck and his crew arrived on time and completed the demolition on the first day. They were extremely cautious with the demolition and cleaned up the work area every day. They finished the job in 5 days.Every aspect of their job was impeccable. I was a home builder for 10 years and never had a brick mason as good as Mr. Chimney.

The cost was reasonable. Another company had come out and told me I had to have the whole brick front of my house replaced. Not according to Barry(owner). Barry said only needed to repair stress fracture, tuck point, and clean up some of the brick.

In the spring I noticed that the two bottom rows of the bricks on the front of my home sere crumbling and powdery.  I checked in Angie's List to find someone to repair them.  I called three different companies to look and give me an estimate.  The first came to look but never sent me the estimate.  The second was brusk and said it was an expensive job and would cost anywhere from 5 to 10 thousand. He seemed in a hurry and didn't appear to want the job. The third came and spent about a half hour talking to me about the type of brick I have, which is a soft brick.  He recognized it immediately and said he could replace it with a similar color brick that was harder and would last well outside. He checked below the brickline, decided he could do a strong job and estimated how many bricks he would need.He gave me an estimate and told me he would get back to show me the brick as soon as he could. He described exactly what he needed to do and how he would proceed. He was soft spoken and intelligent and complete in details.  I could tell that he loved brickwork and the job involved.  Later he returned to show me the brick.  It was a perfect match.  He told me he was in the middle of a job nearby and would not get mine done for a while.  Of course, I understood that but I really wanted this man to do my work.  After several weeks he called to set up a time to start. He appeared right on time and started right in.  The job took two or three days and was done neatly and with care.  Everything was cleaned up perfectly and to my expectations.  This was the best and most painless job I ever had done on my house.  I was so glad I called and choose Gary to do my job. I highly recommend him to all others who need a masonry expert!  This is someone who truly cares and takes pride in the work he does!

It was great, and they were absoutely outstanding!  They were punctual, pleasant, and did an excellent job.  I really appreciated that they honored the estimate they gave to me nearly four years ago.

    CHIMNEY JACK
I was on a tight time frame to have the chimney work done before closing, and Chimney Jack was able to fit the work in within a week.   The job itself only took about an hour, and there was no mess left behind.

My experience was wonderful. He is a very good mason - he is an artist. He does amazing work, and he is really high quality and affordable. I love him, and I have used him several times. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future.

Good quality work. Very good consultation and discussion of options / work to be done. Good communications, very punctual and considerate. Very helpful with stone acquisition and selection. Clean up was not very good. Replacement bricks were not the right size but i think they were very hard to find.

It is a single person operation and he is very professional. His wife handles the books. They are very prompt in getting back to me. He is very pleasant. He was here when I wasn?t here and so he chatted with my neighbors. I didn?t pay him by the hour; I paid him for the job. My neighbors liked him and a couple of people asked me who did the job.
