    Mr.Dylan's Tech Service
Dylan was professional and communicated with us throughout the process while he had our computer. He sat with me to help me decide which programs and files to keep and which ones to trash. I'll definitely use his services again if needed! His rates are very reasonable!

    Computer Clinic
Had 2 different computers to fix.  One needed keyboard repaired - spilled nail polish on it.
Other computer had issues with the fan and the mouse pad wasn't working.  Everything was repaired within 24 hours.
I was told when it would be ready and it was and on top of that they added an anti virus to my daughters computer which did not have anything on it.
BEST OF ALL -  THEY ACTUALLY ANSWERED THEIR PHONE!!.  NOBODY ELSE DID.  I CALLED 3 OTHERS AND NOT A ONE RETURNED MY CALL.
    would highly recommend them

The work was actually enjoyable. I've worked with a total of four other website developers, and have horror stories, as most small business owners can attest to. Overpriced, undependable, won't call back, won't do the work they've agreed to.... With Opus, however, not only was the initial response prompt and the planning session enjoyable, but the work was done in a most timely fashion, and to my specifications. I'll continue to use his services.

    GEEK STREET COMPUTERS
The guys I spoke with gave me an $80.00 diagnostic quote over the phone right before Thanksgiving 2013.  They gave me a few scenarios -- from best to worst on what the solution could end up costing.  They gave me an initial estimate of the repairs being done on the earlier part of the first week of December.
Took the laptop to Geek Street the weekend right before Thanksgiving, on November 26.  They said they will call me back.
After not getting a phone call, I called them on December 4, Wednesday.  They said that are still working on the laptop and will call me back.
The weekend passed and still no phone call.  Called them again on December 9, Monday.  They said that the laptop is ready for pick-up and they have it on "observation" to see if the red pixels show up again.  I finally picked up the laptop on December 10, Tuesday.  The final cost, since they took the laptop apart and took about two hours to solder a loose clamp: $180.00, tax included.
Final verdict: Great work, very knowledge and patient with explaining the different scenarios, sucky call back, but overall, very happy with the result of the service.  Will definitely use again.  I would rather deal with folks who are very knowledgeable instead of super-nice folks that quoted me a much higher price of around $250-300.

    PC ANSWERS
I called PC Answers on Tuesday, June 25 and described the problems I was having with my 6 year old laptop.  The computer would not shut down when tried to shut it down, I had to manually hold the power switch in to shut the computer down.  Sunday, June 23, and Monday, June 24 when I booted up the laptop, there were loud grinding noises from the laptop and I had to shut it off and turn it back on three times to finally get it to boot up.  I thought it might be the hard drive beginning to fail and when I described the problems Steve at PC Answers said it sounded like the hard drive was going out.  Steve told me that  if I brought my laptop in he would take a look at it and if it was the hard drive, they had laptops in stock with Windows 7 installed.  I did want Windows 7 for sure if I needed a new laptop.  I took the computer in on Tuesday afternoon, June 25 at 1:30 pm and we decided I did in fact need a new computer.  I told John at PC Answers that I would be in that area on Friday, June 28 and I hoped the new computer would be set up by then.  He said they were pretty swamped, but he would make sure the new computer would be ready by Friday noon.  I received a phone call from Cathy Hogan, Operations Manager at PC Answers, at 1:45 pm on Wednesday, June 26, and she told me my new laptop was loaded with my old files and was ready to be picked up.  I was very, very surprised that it was ready that quickly.  I did tell Cathy that I would still pick it up Friday, June 28 and she said that would be fine.  Friday, June 28 I picked my computer up at 12:30 pm at PC Answers and John Hogan, whom I spoke with, told me if I had any questions or problems to call them and they would help me.  John told me of course there would not be a charge for the help on the phone if I needed it.  I brought the laptop home and it has worked perfectly and I could not be more happy with the computer and especially with Cathy Hogan, Steve, and John Hogan at PC Answers.  I will most definitely go to PC Answers for all of my computer needs.  It is so refreshing to have a business that does believe in customer service.

I am a techno-illiterate. My computer system got worse and worse. I spent soooo much time trying to deal with the glitches myself. I was so happy with this company for taking charge. I will definetely recommend them!

See above --  No, I'm not going to "tell you the story from start to finish." I have a job and only 8 hours in which to perform it each day. Honestly, I HATE these surveys that take forever to complete. Actually I hate ALL surveys. Do you have any idea how many companies want me to complete a survey at home AND at work? There are way too many. If you want to survey people, keep it to 2 or 3 quest6ions -- NO LONG ESSAY assignments, PLEEZE

They tell you upfront what the charge would be. They let you know that if it doesn?t work, there will be a charge. They gave me a brand new video card for $20 which was available. I would use them in the future.

We tested the USB port card using a series of printer cables and an external floppy drive. It turned out the new USB ports would only work with the Dell sound system and none of the other peripherals. Mitch called back to ask how satisfied I was with the work he had done and I mentioned that I was disappointed that the new ports wouldn't work with most of the peripherals and he brought by a different type of external USB port device and all but one printer worked with that. He supplied it to me at no extra charge. The older Dell computer Mitch cleaned up worked much faster and more efficiently than it had before. The only dissappointment was that we couldn't get the wireless adapter to connect to the modem on my other Dell system. The systems are quite a long way from one another making it very difficult to get a sufficiently strong signal. Mitch tried two other adapters he had to see if they would generate a connection but neither would work. I will need to get Qwest to come out at see what they can do generate a connection. Mitch was always prompt, courteous, and helpful and I would certainly recommend him to others.
