    All Pro Septic Pumping
We started contacting All Pro last fall via Angies List. We were told to call and they would schedule us. We call and left multiple messages that were not returned. This spring we urgently needed to have the septic pumped and they were the last to do so. We finally were able to schedule and appointment after finally catching them via phone with us calling, still no call back from the messages. They then rescheduled for a day earlier. When they arrived we were informed that the tank needed to be uncovered, which was not something we were told when making the appointment. We were then told it would be "$135 an hour and that was the minimum" if he even "put a shovel in the dirt." Thinking we would still get service we asked about rescheduling and were told we would get a call back that day. Its been a week and we have heard nothing from All Pro or any member of their staff since. We went with Sep-Tech who were prompt, professional and easy to work with.

It went very well. Owner of the business came out personally as some of the problems were very complex. He spent extra effort to get our boiler, which had been run without water, get back on line. Would have been much more profitable for him to call it dead and quote a replacement unit. Husband loved coming home to everything scratched off his "honey do" list (at least the sub-section titled plumbing)!

    Kahar Plumbing & Heating Inc
Jeff and his crew were very professional.  They responded with the proposal in a timely manner.  On the day work was to begin, they were on time.  They did an excellent job.  They cleaned up after themselves and were very patient with our questions. We sailed through the inspection without problems.  I wish all contractors were this good.

Lighten Up Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electric LLC
I called to set up the appointment(s) (Both electrical and plumbing.)  The woman on the phone seemed a bit confused as to what it was, but scheduled it any way.  She told me that there was a $49 dispatch fee, and then the electrician would give me an estimate of how much the inspection would cost when I explained what I wanted.
The plumber called to say he was on his way, and arrived on time.  I explained that I wanted to have a good idea of all the electrical problems in the home and out buildings, and a rough estimate of the cost to make repairs.  He looked around and said it would be $397.00 for the inspection, and wanted payment on the spot.
I showed him where the service came into the main building and the 6 service panels on the property.  He spent about 2 hours and did a fairly superficial inspection.  He wanted to check all the electrical outlets to verify they were grounded and wired correctly where I was more concerned if the service coming into the home (200 Amp Service) was adequate for the 2 story home, two horse barns and tackroom/hay barn.
He decided the 200 amps was 'probably okay,' and missed some electrical problems that I had to point out to him specifically a ceiling fixture that didnt work.
Before he left, he told me that he would send the estimate in and that I would get it by e-mail right away.
Before he left I got an e-mail copy of the INVOICE - the bill for the inspection(titled ESTIMATE.  I did not receive the INSPECTION or the pictures he took.  The next day, I still had not received the report, so I called and requested he re-send it.  After several hours I still had not received it so I e-mailed the office with a detailed explanation that I needed the REPORTS or ESTIMATES and that what I had received was just the INVOICE.  I was told that that was all that was in the system and that they would look at it.
A week and several phone calls later I had STILL no received my estimate so I called again and asked for the owner, who was on vacation.  I again explained that I was very dissatisfied and either they needed to return my money or get me the reports as promised or I would pursue other action.
The owner called me back later that evening and promised that I would have them by 8am the next morning, when he returned to town, and asked when he could call to confirm that I received the emails. I told him I would be free after 11 am.
At 9:45pm I received another e-mail. which still didn't included the Electrical Inspection to which I replied say as much.
On the next day, at 1:16PM, I received a series of e-mails from the office and finally received the inspection report.  I never got the promised phone call from the owner.
I reviewed the estimates that I finally received, and found not only was the inspection less than what I expected, the prices were outrageous.
A bathroom exhaust fan that doesn't work: $199.00 (not including parts)
Replace non working outdoor receptacle with GFCI (2) $212.77 each
    and my favorite:
Required by code for your safety. (5) $212.77 each.
I would not recommend them and I will not call them again.

The plumber called to say he was on his way, and arrived on time.  I explained that I wanted to have a good idea of all the PLUMBING

problems in the home and a rough estimate of the cost to make repairs.  He looked around and said it would be $261.00 for the

inspection plus the $49 dispatch fee, and he needed a check.

I showed him where the water service came into the building, the basement kitchen and bath, the main floor kitchen and 2 baths. I had to show the electrician around the property so I left him to do his inspection.

I met up with him a bit later, and he showed me a minor problem with the basement kitchen sink, the basement bathroom and a water line in the basement utility room that had a shutoff on a cooper line, but no cap.

Before he left, he told me that he would send the estimate in and that the system send out everything by email after midnight and that if I didnt received my estimate the next day to call him.  He said that he took some pictures that he would have someone send.

I received the estimate at 7:30am and the pictures around 9am the next morning.  The estimate was incomplete.  He showed me a problem with the kitchen sink drains in the basement, and I KNOW there is a leak in the kitchen sink on the main floor, but only one kitchen sink problem was noted.  There are 2 leaks visible in the basement ceiling from leaks in one of the main floor bathrooms...  nothing was noted about these either.

I called him and asked him about them and he said, that right, I forgot to write those down...

Overall, the estimate wasn't clear at all, and the prices seem very high.

WPR021 Install New 1/2-IN Isloation Valve With New Valve With Drain Cap At Time Of Hose Faucet Replacement   $139.23

GT050010 Install 1/2" copper and cap on shut off in ceiling near furnace. 75.90

If the shut off works, why replace it and add a cap, and charge  ($139.23+$75.90) $215.13 for it? Why not just add the cap?

GT050010 Remove and replace 1/2" in-line air arrester $159.00  No reason give to replace it.

At least 2 known leaks were not written up on the inspection report.

I would not recommend them and I will not call them again.

    Arrowhead Services LLC
Dave came out the same day we called.  He looked at the job and discussed solutions.  Being that this was the 2nd leak within a few months, replacing the waterline made more sense than trying to locate a leak and patch it.
As we had an alternate source of water, Dave said he would start in 2 days and finish by Friday afternoon.  He located the original copper line at the house and trenched from the house to the meter, (at the street).  He found that the copper only ran a few feet and then there was plastic tubing.  He laid a 1" poly line to replace the 3/4" line, added a "tracer" wire so that it could be easily located, sleeved the tubing where required due to a septic field and backfilled the trench.
While he did have the water fixed when he said he would, he didn't complete the back filling for a few days...  not a big deal to me.  He wasn't always the most punctual, as noted by other reviewers, but he was thorough, knowledgeable and professional.  I will call him again.

    Integrity Remodeling Services
Electrician, plumber, drywaller, framer, Tub, Tile, install, trim, texture and more.
I have my basement mostly finished but needed bathroom help and other odds and ends.  We had a bad rough in from the original owner and our framing was off 1.5" which caused a problem for tub setting.  Not for Jim.  It looks great and everything went well.
An amazing worker, with great rates.  The way he fixed the previous mistakes in framing plumbing were genius, literally.
I would recommend and will use again.  A+++++++++++++++
