    The Zone Health and Fitness
Things went well until The Zone bought out TrueFit. Current management is rude, unprofessional, inept and dismissive of their client's concerns. The cleanliness during this pandemic isn't nearly as complete as it should be. Very surface cleaning. The management, when approached, was somewhat threatening over the phone, warning me that he was going to end the conversation because I wanted to voice some issues with the gym. Really sad that it turned out this way as the price was good (guess you get what you pay for) and close to my home. But I won't pay to be disrespected and threatened by a manager.

    Dental Arts of Windsor LLC
In looking for a dentist closer to home, I chose this office. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this office for crown work, or other advanced dentistry. The temp crown I received had a sizable hole in it, and unaddressed pain from this dentist until I followed up with a second dentist to resolve the issue. The staff is friendly, but the crown work and dentist’s attention to detail is really very poor. See below for details. I was prepped for my first ever crown and given a temporary crown in Feb. to replace a chipping (but not painful) filling. After several weeks wearing the temp, I scheduled a follow up because the tooth was very sensitive and I could not eat anything on that side of the mouth. Dr. Barry took a look, but said sensitivity was normal and he could write a prescription. I am hesitant anytime a provider goes straight to steroids, as a prescription can sometimes help but doesn’t address the physical issue of the tooth. Before they could place my crown - which was scheduled out about 6 weeks (a long time for a temp in my opinion), the office cancelled and closed due to CoVid. This was understandable, but what wasn’t understandable was the office’s complete unavailability when the temp crown came off and I was not able to stick it back on. I called and left messages to be redirected to an emergency dentist 4 times over 2 weeks in April. Either they chose to ignore my particular messages because they underestimated my case, or perhaps they ignored every client who called, though their voicemail indicated they would be checking and redirecting cases to available dentists in April. Even a phone call would have felt reassuring. The exposed, prepped tooth was unprotected and extremely sensitive to hot/cold/air - really everything since a prepped tooth is just a ground down tooth. It was painful for about 2 full months with zero communication from Dental Arts. Mid May a sister office sent out a generic email to Windsor patients to touch base. They were very friendly, but were unable to contact the dental office to get my permanent crown so that they could place it. Any other dentist who opened in May could have placed my permanent. Again, I left messages to see if I could obtain the crown and have it placed with another provider. No answer. In June, I finally gave up and went to a new dentist - They were baffled that Dental Arts Windsor didn’t respond at all, and gave me a crown with a hole in it in the first place. They suspected that the tooth was hitting the upper teeth, which caused the pain and created a hole in the thin temporary, or else it had a hole from the beginning, which is an obvious issue since the point of a crown is to cover and protect the tooth. After so much time and inattention, my teeth had shifted and the temp crown no longer fit (besides the hole problem). The new dentist had to re-prep (read, grind down more) tooth, and create a new temp for a new permanent crown. I had to pay for and endure the prep pain a second time. Crowns cost about $1500, that I had already paid to Dental Arts Windsor. BUT! It was worth it - after visiting the second dentist the crown fits and the tooth is no longer in pain. After nearly 3 months I can eat and drink on that side of my mouth again. I can open my mouth and smile without air hitting it and causing a sensitive zing! Overall, Dr. Barry's work was very questionable, and their zero communication really inexcusable as a health care provider. Considering these strange times we are living in, more closures may happen in the future, and since he's only one man, having no means to serve patients if he is unavailable is not acceptable. So, if you want to be able to use your teeth to eat, and avoid tooth damage, choose another dentist.

    24 Hour Fitness
24 Hr continues to bill after closing, now I am up to $1,200 for training not received. I have contacted them several times on their web site per their suggestion as they do not answer the phones. They send you a meaningless email that you can't even reply to. This is fraudulent and I will never go back to a place that treats their clientele this way. It looks as if others are going through the same thing. They should not cut off their nose to spite their face!!! It is time for consumer revolt to this company.

    Ray, Dr. Veronica D.
The staff is very kind, I love the bedside manner of the staff here. I also feel that they only suggest treatments that are needed. I had a previous dentist that wanted to pull out half my teeth and do various surgeries which seems nonsensical to me and a grab for insurance money. Doctor Ray has not suggested pulling out all our teeth, or surgeries I see no need for and that is without me mentioning experiences with a previous dentists even once. I will be moving in the coming months and I will be hard pressed to find a dentist I trust as much as Doctor Ray.

Need for Relief - Therapeutic Massage
I've never been disappointed by anyone found on Angies's List, ever, knock on wood! I read all the reviews from other people and make my decisions base on that. So, it was with confidence that I went to see Marissa, with Need For Relef. She is a very sweet young lady, and surprisingly strong in her massages. I am very happy I chose Need For Relief, and especially for Marissa's expertise in helping me to stay mobile.

The staff was very friendly and punctual. Both the hygienist and dentist knowledge, caring attitudes and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. The time they took to analyze the jaw and teeth along with the detailed diagnosis and referral they offered me was commendable.
