    Elite Custom Painting
They were incredible. From beginning to end everything was done timely and in a professional manner. They went above and beyond with their work. Being a former owner of a home remodel company I was very impressed and that is hard to do. They did the quality work they promised and more. I will never use another company and I will refer them to everyone I know. See my before and after photos.

    Solid Rock Custom Carpentry
Craig did a great job of finding roof issues causing leaks. He was not intimidated by the resulting scope of the required repair work which included roof structural framing, siding, flashing and re-roofing. Craig kept me informed along the way and took care to avoid causing any additional damage along the way. This was not the first time I worked with Craig and it won't be the last, he is a great contractor with skills ranging from framing to drywall to finish carpentry to roofing.

    Shade Brothers Painting
Shade Brothers were so very professional from the very beginning. Thir estimate was thorough and the quote they provided was what it cost for the whole project with no upsell or additional costs. Their crew was absolutely amazing and very courteous. They did a walk around with me and even touched up areas that I inquired about. I will definitely hire them again when I am ready for interior and deck to refinish. Simply put, Shade Brothers were outstanding.

Handyman Haith Painting & Odd Jobs
Glen was very helpful, polite and punctual. He was knowledgeable and completed all t he work in a very timely manner. Glen was also very trustworthy. We are very happy with him and will definitely be calling on him in the future. Pricing was fair and he quoted an hourly rate that was adhered to. His helper was equally pleasant.

Handyman Haith Painting & Odd Jobs
Glen had originally scheduled his work for Sunday but was unable to come that day. He called to see if he could reschedule another day and we said, and quot;yes.and quot; He came on time for the second appointment. He proceeded to do all he had been asked to do but was unable to fix the garage door opener. He even called in his dad to help with this particular project and neither of them could fix the opener as it was completely broken. He looked around and found a company that had and quot;usedand quot; openers. We called this company and they came and replaced the original opener. He was very professional and worked hard to do what he said he would do. We will have him back next spring if he is still available.

    Richard A Harrison
Richard did an excellent job in fixing up our rental house.  The previous renters damaged doors, walls, and other things around the house.  We will always go to Richard first when we need to have work done.

    College Pro Painters
Last summer there was a run of painting contractors in our neighborhood.  Different yard signs were everywhere.  We weighed the pros and cons and decided against doing it ourselves.  While we were speaking to one contractor, Nathan Johnson from College Pro Painters walked up.  He introduced himself and then waited his turn until we finished with the first man.  Nathan looked really young, but he sold us with his knowledge.  He gave a great estimate that included all of the supplies and labor listed above.  It was not the least expensive contract we looked at, but he included work that none of the others even mentioned.
The weather delayed the power wash by a couple of days, but after that it was onward and upward.  Nathan was reliable and hard working.  He did everything in his contract - to the letter.  He took the down spouts off the house and noticed one of them was pretty clogged so he cleaned ALL of them out for us - not a part of the contract and at no extra charge.
We didn't want to change the colors of the house at all - if you have an HOA who wants to "help" decide the new colors then you'll know what I mean.  It was really hard to match the color I wanted to the faded paint on the house but he gave us 4 sample spots to look at and choose from.
He encouraged us to leave him notes on the front door of anything we saw after his work day was over.  There were only three instances of things my husband saw during his nightly walk-around and these things were brought to his attention by written note, followed up by a phone call the next day and fixed. Nathan was punctual, and extremely neat in his work habits.  I didn't have paint on any windows, grass, or cement.
He was so very friendly, helpful and professional.  I'd never seen house painting up close and he didn't mind telling me about the equipment, or techniques that work better than others.   He worked so late most nights, we'd bring him out a cold drink and most nights we sent him home with either leftovers or pizza!
I would recommend him to any one who needs their house painted.  The house looks great.

    Pro Tec Drywall
I called Norm from a Craigslist ad and obtained written quote for painting and linoleum. He was reasonable and did a good job in a timely manner per bid. I then had him do the additional work on an hourly basis, because I was out of town, without a written quote and feel he did not work nearly as proficiently. The only work I was not happy with was the floor refinish. He did not sand properly and left a bit of a mess, like varnish spilled on my new counter tops. To be fair I think Norm became was sick, about this time, and did not monitor his help well. He also did not clean up the mess when I asked him to. I had somebody else prep the floors, put on another coat and clean up the mess left by Norm. I think Norm is honest, very capable and would use him again but I would make sure to define all work do the work with written quote. If additional work was needed go through the process again to make sure you don't pay for trips to the paint store, coffee breaks etc. I would also check on progress and results on a regular basis.

I was having a rental house remodeled and hired Norm to finish a job that another started and did not finish. Norm can do just about anything but I do suggest that you completely define the work and get the bid prior as opposed to having the work done on an hourly basis.
