Next thing happen was finally I was put under anesthesia and rolled into the operating room. I came out of my anesthesia and a wonderful nurse was there making sure I was ok and if there was anything she needed to do to make my pain less and she wanted me to get comfortable as possible. She seem nerves and very careful we me. I was rolled up to my room and then the nurses on forth floor was very nerves on giving me medication. I asked questions about the pain I was getting and could I have something to relieve some of it. It seemed know one knew any answer or got any from my doctor. I never seen my doctor Morreale after my surgery and at my next appointment which was on the 3/3/14. Only talked to Rachel Cengia P.A.-C. Came into my room went over things to fast and had me sign things and gave a medication prescription. And at my appointment took the stitch straight out by pulling it at one time, and tried to give me lower quantity of medication that could not been approved till she called Medicaid. And she did not call so I asked them if she could and they said she was to busy at the time. So I left and five min later they called and said the had a prescription for me of what I had before, so I had to turn back around to go get it. There was no way they could of had that prescription that quick if she was to busy at another place. I feel I was treated poorly and lied to. I feel it's like a game to them. I also have a huge bruise on my chest and still hard to sollow and left arm hurts from shoulder all the way down to my hand. And they act like its no big deal. I would never go back to this place to have any other operations done unless it would be another doctor that knows what he is doing with compassion.

I have been out on disability since 2009 when I finally told my primary care provider that I could not stand the pain and weaknesses from my low back injury that dated from a fall in 1985. I did a referral to an Orthopedic Specialist, Pain Specialist for injections and physical therapy and E-stim therapy with some improvement in pain levels, but not significant improvement in motion and hip weaknesses. I requested my Primary Care MD to order a MRI of my low back which showed a disc compression. After changing Orthopedic Specialist I had 2 surgeries, 1 for the compression and a 2nd for frozen facet syndrome. I still was having pain and residual weaknesses in hips even after physicaal therapy. My disability insurance required an evaluation to stay on disability or go back to work. My Primary Care Provider had to change with a change in insurance and I had to seek out a Disability Specialist as no one else felt or were allowed to make that determination. After 4 months I found Dr. George Leimbach through my Physical Therapist. Dr. Leimbach did a thorough history review, physical exam with a complete neurologic evaluation, x-rays and ordered and got the needed MRIs of neck and low back. He saw me after these were done and discussed the findings. He did EMGs of both arms to look for other complicating problems. He referred me to Dr. Michael Janssen, in the same Spine Center for surgery evalution and met with Dr. Janssen at my appointment. My insurance did an immediate approval for the surgery. I was referred to Denver Pulmonary Specialist for a pre-surgery evalution. I did a 2nd opinion with another spine surgeon but he recommended waiting for more neurologic problems before doing the surgery, even though I had permenent weakness and muscle spasms from the low back damage. I had the surgry on 6/06/2011 with excellent results. The neck fusion was 4 level- C4-7 fusion andeven helped with some of the low back pain as both Dr. Leimbach & Dr. Janssen had expected.
