  • They were punctual, fast and careful. They demonstrated that they had quality experience as they moved and cared for my furniture. Nothing was broken. They placed everything as I asked and moved when I realized it did not work. I appreciate their work ethic and ability.

  • This was the third move for us in 18 mos. and we had done much consolidating in preparation the move. The movers were scheduled to arrive at 9am, but did not get there until 930. There was crew of three, which we were happy about because the three previous moves were done with a crew of two. As we were very excited to move into our new home, we hoped this meant that this move would be quicker than the others, especially since we had gotten rid of a lot of stuff since the last move. That was not the case, by a long shot! It was quickly apparent that crew that was sent to us could not possibly have been professional movers. Moving is very physical work that requires strength, stamina and knowledge. Our crew did not meet any of these qualifications. They were ridiculously slow and careless. Keep in mind that we had EVERYTHING packed and disassembled for them when they got there, all they had to do was wrap furniture and load boxes. We had one bedroom set, (minus the mattress), living room furniture (couch, loveseat, chair, coffee and end tables) and office furniture. No appliances (except a small wine fridge) and no washer or dryer. We had already moved 90% of the garage, the flatscreen tv's, large picture and artwork, etc. The elderly gentleman of our crew spent the first 2.5 hours wrapping the furniture in shrink wrap. This should have been a 30 min job, maximum, especially since there were no blankets wrapped under the shrink wrap like there was in our previous moves to protect our furniture. Once that gentleman had finished shrink wrapping he started loading boxes from the basement onto a two wheeler so he could wheel them 25 ft down the sidewalk to the truck parked RIGHT in front of our place. He literally spent more time stacking and unstacking boxes on the two wheeler than he did wheeling them outside to the curb to load them on the truck. As this was going on, the other two crew members were carrying the furniture outside, tag teaming the larger items, and taking some on their own. One of these two crew members was huffing and puffing so much that we honestly worried about him having a heart attack! He asked two times during the loading process to take a break because he was so out of shape. It took 4.5 hours to load up our townhouse. None of our three previous moves had taken longer than 4.5 hours START TO FINISH with travel time!! It's a 35 min drive (with heavier traffic, this was a Saturday) from the old place to our new house. We waited and waited at the new house for the truck to arrive, even knowing that they were stopping for a 30 min lunch break. It took them an hour and 45 minutes to arrive at the new house. They needed an extra break they said. The unloading process was not much faster than the loading process. We removed the shrink wrap from everything ourselves so the movers could focus on just getting our things off of the truck. As we removed the shrinkwrap, the damage to our furniture started to reveal itself and it was horrible. Gashes and scratches on many of our pieces. When our couch (granted it is heavy but other companies had handled it with no problems whatsoever and there was a step staircase involved previously) was being carried into the house, the moves rammed into the wall in the front hallway, cracking the drywall and then proceeded to scrape the rest of the wall as they moved down into the family room. We also ended up with a hole in the wall at the bottom of the basement stairs, as well as chipped corners in walls and door frames. And this is a BRAND NEW house that we had just done the closing walk thru on, so this was all new damage. We also had damage to walls in the townhouse which we had to fix ourselves due to the time crunch of having to be moved out. The entire move with three crew members took 9.5 hours, more than twice what it had taken in the three previous moves with only two movers, in which there was Zero damage! And in case you're wondering, we would have happily used the previous moving company but they relocated to Nebraska. In our attempts to try to deal with all the damage and the ridiculous amount we were charged we've had to call over and over and have been subjected to insults and rudeness from the manager. The owner was supposed to be "looking into things" and calling us back, but that was over two weeks ago, we have not heard from her since and still have no resolution to the majority of our complaint. They did send someone out to try to touch up the 9 pieces of furniture and walls that were damaged, and that guy did a decent enough job covering up the scratches, but we had to take time off of work, twice, because the first time he came out he had faulty product. So not only did we pay at least twice as much for seriously inept movers, it's now cost us hundreds of dollars in missed wages. Do not under any circumstances hire this company!!!

  • I hired Square Cow Moovers to move my family and I'm glad we did! Working with Todd was great, he was friendly, professional, concise and answered all my questions. The team that was sent to my house (Jared, Seth, and Clyde) were phenomenal!!! Anything and everything I asked them to do was replied with a 'yessir' or 'we can do that' or 'my pleasure'. They wrapped the move out and move in house with furniture blankets to protect the house, they wrapped all my furniture with care, not a single item was dinged or scratched in the move, and they moved FAST! I was worried that since I was paying an hourly rate that they would work but not blazing fast but these guys were a blur. I did do a lot of prep (prep work is key, most of my stuff they just picked up and loaded on the truck) and moved probably half the stuff I had on my own in the days leading to the move but they were done faster than I had even planned on them finishing. Great job! Highly recommend!

  • From the very first phone call to the closing of our front door in our new home, it could not have been a better experience. Annette (the manager) was very courteous and professional and worked with us to accommodate our schedule. The moving crew was prompt, efficient and very careful with our items. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has a local move in the Denver area.

  • After the initial 2 hour period was over, the movers stated they had to go to their next job and that their dispatcher wrote down the truck was a 15 foot, when in reality I told her it would be a 22-26 foot truck, so only half the truck was unpacked. Dispatcher needs to be sure to get details correct, she cost the employees from getting a larger tip.

  • Excellent. I forgot to write a review after the move at the end of June. My bad. The guys were very efficient. The stairs to go up and down, plus going out to our shed. I am recommending them to a friend. Jermaine offers a flat rate or by the mile. Your choice. I chose the flat rate.

  • Great! Jamar and Diego handled all my belongings with care and were careful to place all boxes in the labeled room all while being efficient with their time. They were extremely professional and had a great sense of humor! This is my 3rd time using Abe Lincoln Movers and I will use them time and again!

  • Horribly. To begin, I confirmed my appt with operations manager on Friday, come Monday, after numerous calls and texts trying to confirm time movers would arrive, with no response, I was told by owner crew would be out around 2-3 pm. Shortly after, the operation manager text to say they had no crew or truck available to move us that day. a few hours later received call stating 2 reps would be stopping by to see the size of the job... to see if they could make the move work for that day. I thought great. I emphasized to the person calling that as we had been told they weren't showing up that day, we had taken a much needed break from packing so we would need a few hours to get things ready for movers. The next communication was from the 3 movers stating they were outside our house ready to go. I explained to them that we were not expecting them... and were not ready for things to be loaded onto the truck, that they would be sitting around more than loading the truck as we still needed to finish packing last minute items... They insisted it would be fine, they would help pack and get the job done. Against my wishes and best judgement, they stayed. As I am disabled, I spent the day packing my room and left my husband to try to supervise. Instead of supervising, he was loading the truck, dismantling furniture... as the crew had brought no tools themselves. Every time I went to check on progress the crew of 3 were sitting on the back of their truck watching my husband pack. I had told all 3 workers as well as the operations manager and the guy who initially took my information at the company that there were 2 pieces of furniture that NEEDED special care that day, my year old bedroom set and my antique stereo. I specifically showed the crew the turntable of the stereo and explained how it needed to be packed so that the turntable would not get tossed around when moved. Unfortunately, no one listened. After 7 plus hours at our home, the truck was full, the amount of time for the move had expired and we still had half a house of belongings still not on the truck. My husband went to the new house with the crew. When I went the next day, EVERYTHING from the truck was shoved into my living room and family room, including my platform bed. (it stayed in my living room for over 3 weeks as no one from the company would return my calls) All the heavy furniture was in the middle of my living room, still shrink wrapped. Boxes stacked 3 feet high... When I took the shrink wrap off of my antique stereo and opened the turntable cabinet, there was no packing inside and the turntable was (is ) in 2 pieces. The knob to the 1948 tv is broken in two. My year old bedroom set looks like it went through a car wreck and hail storm. The few boxes that the crew packed had professionally framed pictures at bottom of the boxes, glass side up with anything and everything thrown on top. Needless to say, glass and frames were broken. my stand alone freezer sat in my backyard, through rain, for over 3 weeks, until a guy from company was nice enough to take it to my basement and put the platform of my bed in my bedroom. Unfortunately, after doing his very best, all alone to put the platform together, pieces are hanging from one screw, none of the drawers open or close properly. This added to the scratches, dents, scuffs... left by the original crew. My daughter's desk leg is broken off, my antique sewing machine stand is gouged. Items are missing still to this day. The owner refused to speak with me, instead put that task on his newest employee. It has been 2 months, and I still have not gotten anything from the owner except "your landlord said it was going to be a tough move". When I asked him how my landlord would know as he had not been to my home in over a month, he just kept repeating the above quote. I asked Andrew, the owner of Able, what made it a difficult move? the fact that we weren't a single or 2 person household? or the fact that his movers sat for close to 50 percent of the time they were on the clock. I have asked Andrew to email me with how he is going to make things right... He still hasn't and after leaving me a text a few weeks ago, refuses to respond to my vm's and texts to his cell phone. I want to be paid for my damaged items, the missing ones as well. not to mention the fact that I had to get friends to help move furniture and my bed is still in 3 pieces. it took us 4 more days to get the house completely empty and transported to our new home, should we not be refunded $ for the move itself? I still have shrink wrapped items in my living room as they are extremely heavy and take more than one man to move. BEYOND DISGUSTED with Able Moving

  • Had 2 trucks going to 2 locations. Were late to both. While 1 truck team was loading from home, other was at storage. Truck at storage had loaded and unloaded before truck at home was loaded. The second truck never came to help and stayed at new home while the other truck continued to load. 2nd truck team waited for well over an hour. Because of this, not all items in old home were moved and we had to move those items ourselves. They were also supposed to wrap furniture but did not have enough wrap. Some furniture was damaged. A few boxes or tubs were dropped or crushed causing some items to be broke. They also damaged some of the walls, door frames and laminate floors in old home that we had to repair before new owner possession.

  • The movers did arrive late, but to be fair, I did change the date and time of my movers last minute. The last minute change was not a problem for the company and they were very helpful and responsive with the change request. I rescheduled to a Sunday morning at 9AM and the movers didn't arrive until 10:30AM. They do say they will arrive in an hour window, so really they were only 30 minutes late. Once the movers arrived, they worked quickly and got our entire 2700 sq foot house loaded into the trucks in only 2 hours. Both movers were very friendly and professional and they worked very hard. We were pleased with their work.
