  • I have had Happy Roots take care of my yard for a few years now and have NEVER had a complaint. They are very friendly and great at taking care of your yard. My yard is LITERALLY one of the best looking yards in the neighborhood thanks to them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

  • Jeremy and his crew are so professional and absolutely worked their butts off to trim the trees in our yard. It was two full days of hard labor, but as I would chime in from time to time everything was done with safety to themselves and the home itself first and foremost. I’m looking forward to working with Cornerstone Tree & Landscaping to persevere the trees and finish up the other 2 that are left to trim. I would not hesistate to go with Cornerstone, they went above and beyond to fulfill their work.

  • Steven and Crew were great. They did our landscaping at our home complete with irrigation, garden beds, and beautiful patio. We love the outcome and sit and enjoy it every day. They were timely and communicative. A big plus for us is that they were also clean, meaning they dumped the material on our property and only partialy on the road. They were maticulous about cleaning it up. Having to drive around other landscapers who just dumped in the middle of the road, this was important to us. They did such a great job we not only recommended them to our friends, I also hired them to do the landscaping at our Church. It's never looked better!

  • We needed an aspen tree cut down and the stump removed, as we were starting to get a small forest of aspen suckers in the yard. The quote was prompt and reasonable, and had services broken out as cut down tree, apply a product to kill the roots and suckers, which we could see was quite a large system even from above ground, and stump removal. We decided to cut down the tree as a family project. When I called to ask about the timimg of stump removal and the product to be applied, I was so impressed, the lead arborist (I think Justin was his name but the card isn't in front of me) told me, when I asked, about a product I could order and apply myself, and how it compared to other products. He could have not said anything and charged me for what turned out to be a simple step in the process, but was very helpful and answered all my questions. We still had Mile Hi come to remove the stump, and they did so quickly. Result...aspen forest free lawn! Would definitely use again!

  • I hired L&B's to do a border around my backyard. Been wanting one for awhile and thought I would finally treat myself. They came and did an estimate and it came out to be 89 feet of border. Once I agreed, I sent the contract signed and it took about 2 months to get done. This is acceptable as long as you are prepared to wait a couple of months to have the work done. I had all my sprinklers flagged per their request and it was annoying to have the flags up that long and keep taking them down for mowing and putting back up once done. So the time-frame was one negative. Another was at my design appointment, the guy marked one sprinkler head to be relocated, it is $25 per sprinkler to be relocated, since it was only 1 I agreed. But once they did the work, they relocated 3. This is now $75 for sprinklers, I do wish they would have asked about doing more, because I had just installed that system myself less than a year before. So that is number 2. Next was the final length of the job, during the estimate they quoted 89 feet, they ended up installing 121. That is 36% more, thus the price went up that much too, not including the $75 for sprinklers. I did measure, and the final measure is correct, but I think they quote you less footage to get you to go with them. Now that is con number 3. Lastly is one of the sprinkler heads that they relocated, they installed the concrete on top of. Not fully, just on the lip so it still works and pops up, however to unscrew it or adjust the position, the concrete is in the way of unscrewing or rotating the entire sprinkler body. Once I called them and told them and sent an email with pictures, they said it still worked fine, and now will not respond to me at all. My problem with that is that I paid them $25 dollars to relocate it, then it should have been done right. So if you by chance do decide to go with them; be sure to understand that it will be months to get it done, add 33% to 50% to their estimate for your final cost, and relocate all your sprinklers yourself.

  • I called Steve and he said 2 hours minimum and it will be $65/hr. I said ok. We set the appointment for 11:30 AM next day to come out and fix my sprinkler heads. I live in Thornton but work in Lakewood. I worked in the morning and around 11 AM I left Lakewood to be at my house at 11:30 AM......a 45 minute drive. I waited and waited. No phone call. Nobody showed. Finally at 1 PM, I left and drove all the way back to Lakewood......45 minute drive again. Even now, I did not get anybody to even call me or show up. Very unprofessional no doubt, but also very very rude to waste someone's time like that. No excuse in this day and age of cell phones. Is it that difficult to just pick up the phone and say, "Julian, we are just overwhelmed today. Can we reschedule please?" Then I would have just stayed at work and gotten some more work done.

  • The crew showed up on time, and in short order, had both cut down and the stumps ground down, below the surface. This was a tricky job, as there was no for error, the trees had to fall a certain way, or else they would have hit the house.

  • James came out in a timely fashion to give us an estimate and subsequently performed the initial cleanup. I met with him again a few weeks later to get an estimate on additional bed clean up and to determine a start date for the monthly service. At that time I gave him a credit card to pay for the initial work. Several hours later there was a fraudulent charge attempt on that card, which is one I rarely use. I contacted James to ensure his charge was honored, explaining there had been a problem with that card. The charge went thru okay, however from that point on I heard absolutely nothing from James after many attempts to contact him regarding the estimate he was supposed to provide for additional work and when the monthly service was due to begin. Although at the time I did not make any connection between the two, my suspicion is that someone in the company was responsible for that fraudulent attempt, and that is why he refused to respond to any attempts at further communication.

  • Dot not do business with these lowlifes. I cannot speak to the quality or value of the actual landscaping this company does. But I can tell you they are definitely unprofessional and, operate their business in an illegal manner by knowingly having their employees drive company vehicles without insuring them to do so. One of the employees hit my car with their trailer and tore off the entire front of my vehicle. The driver had a suspended license and did not have his own insurance. And Colorado Lawnscaping Inc. did not insure him to drive their company vehicle. If they are willing to literally risk peoples lives by letting someone with a suspended license drive their vehicles, you can bet they don't care when they destroy your vehicle. In fact, you can be sure of it. Stay away and tell everyone you know to do the same.

  • This was a terrific experience. The salesperson was knowledgeable and patient making sure he met our design requirements. The installation team exceeded even those expectations he set. They were on time each day, did great work, finished exactly when they said, and cleaned up thoroughly. The project manager was the best I've ever worked. He was exceptionally attentive, responsive, and communicative about the project from start to finish. What a refreshing experience to work with this company.
