  • Horrible work ethics and craftsmanship not professional at all. Workmanship is horrible. Don't show up when he says but must have payment even through he says he don't get paid until the job is finished. Makes horrible messes and don't clean them up. Messed up my bathtub and said he would be back to finish it and never showed up and will not answer his phone when you call or text. Never showed up to finish the things he was hired to do and already paid to do in the basement. Not good quality work at all.  We had to go behind everything he was hired to do. It was a huge mistake for us to hire him and has cost us more money then it would of been to hire a professional. His finishing work is awlful !! Word from the wise... don't hire him he is a nightmare.

  • I'm so happy with their work! They really are professionals. I received estimates from other companies and the price they gave me was too high.I've been receiving so many compliments from my friends. They were really friendly and were always on time. I definitely recommend them.

  • Four Seasons continues to send the same service technician out to tell us that this is as good as it is going to get. They offer no solutions to the issue when they performed the heat load test and performed all the measurements to tell us that this is the best energy efficient system for our home to remain comfortable year round. Instead of admitting that a mistake had to have been made and providing us with solutions to fix it they refuse to take any action.

I can not recommend using Four Seasons Heating, Inc. for any HVAC services.

  • First of all our closing date was delayed because the builder over estimated the finish time needed inside.  This is nothing compared to the year of broken promises this poor excuse for a builder.  He has not warranted anything in our home this last year.  We have made repeated phone calls to him to repair things that were not finished in the house and he promises he will send someone out and then never does.  We have numerous open repair items including:  poor paint job, siding that was not installed properly, cracked and poorly installed concrete that has been settling over the last year, large sections of area that were not painted at all, improperly installed gutters that resulted in large water pooling, flashing not properly installed on the roof that leaks into the basement when heavy rain or snow collects, improperly installed drain for condensation in the basement that pooled on basement floor, shelves not installed in closet, improperly installed dryer vent.  Do I need to carry on?
The list is immense and we have tried numerous avenues to allow him to remedy the issues and he simply has not responded.
The last conversation we had with him, he began cursing at us and said "I just want you off my back."  I have never dealt with such an unprofessional builder in my life.  This is the 4th new construction home I have purchased and have never come across this.  I am amazed that someone with multiple homes being built in the community that he doesn't stand behind his work.
The only reason I am writing this is that I believe is trying to resolve your issues with the person directly, however, when that avenue is exhausted then further action is required.  I would hate for someone else to buy a home from this builder and go through what we have gone through in the last year!

  • The team at Brookfield Residental Homes at Midtown are great!  Everyone we have worked with is extremley professional and great at what they do.  The homes in the development are amazingly built and have great design.  Any concerns we had were address right away and we are so impressed with all aspects of their business.

  • My house was built in 2012 but he has been a builder since '68. His work was well constructed and I haven't had any problems with that. They fixed any problems we had right off. We just kind of lucked in to this.

  • We needed an updated bathroom.  I bought subway tiles (known for a clean and classic look) for the tub surround.  Unfortunately, Nick installed them crooked and not flushed to the wall.  After I complained about it, he and his son had sorry excuses, such as,'well the tile come in different shapes and widths......(paraphrasing)........and its the best we can do.'  Our niche (to hold shampoo and soap) in the wall, also a horrible job.  It sticks out like a sore thumb instead of blending into the wall seamlessly.  We also, at least this time, caught him BEFORE grouting the floor tile, and made him redo it because it was clearly crooked. He did not use ANY spacers until we told him to.  Other work such as bathroom fixtures were slightly crooked and the handles to turn the shower on/off were placed the wrong direction, which I think he did last to just make a fool of us.  I was tired of complaining about things, I just wanted him out.  I didn't pay him all the labor he quoted, but I am still kicking myself for paying him even Half the money I did.  I do have to say that we used him for another project - adding onto an existing bath, but there was little to no tile work involved with that, he just did a shower insert, otherwise, we would not have used him again.  He also left a trail of dirt everyday on my wood floors and didn't even bother putting down cloths/rugs to catch some of it.   We caught them dumping the dirty tile water (from cutting pieces with the saw) in our red rocks in our yard!!! unbelievable......I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

  • They did a fantastic job. From beginning to end the communication was excellent. The suggestions for improvement not only saved me money but also turned out better than I thought. The sub contractors they used were excellent.

  • However, after delaying the roofing contractor so that Compass Construction could do my back porch project,  per Nathan, in August,  I received very little contact from Compass Construction after late June.  My requests for a date to schedule the contract signing so that the back porch project could be completed by his company (and the new roof installed,) were met with excuses.  I was told by Nathan that he would be out of town,   that he had lost a couple of people,   his time was slim,   he was interested.             I  waited and I waited.  It was only after sending him an email this week stating that I needed to know if his company could do this project in August or not,  and that I could not wait any longer.  That  Nathan replied promptly, stating that they were  'very busy and that he couldn't get to my project until October.......so probably not'.Excuse me?
I feel that Nathan; as the owner of Compass Contruction, could have and should have told me that his company could not do this project in the August time frame that he had originally stated, and certainly before now!
I am very disappointed that he delayed telling me.  Costing me valuable time that I could have been finding and working with another contractor and having this project completed on time.
I like Nathan, and his company is probably very skilled at doing quality work. I do not like however that I was not respected, even though it was a small project, and told in a much more timely manner.

  • I ran into Craig at Lowe's, while I searched for a quick solution to my storm door problems. I wanted to install a storm door, and had already purchased the door before I realized that It wouldn't install in my doorway due to a lack of frame space. Craig first explained that I would just need to build out the doorway, and gave details on how it would need to be done. I must have looked pretty confused, because he patiently explained again. I asked him if HE could do it, and it just so happened that he could. One business card, and one estimate later, it was done. In retrospect, the solution was a big "duh" moment for me, but Craig made it easy for me to just continue installing the door as planned after he eliminated the headache caused by my builder's assumption that nobody will ever want a storm door... I would most definitely hire him again, and plan to call him soon about a basement.
