    Slice It Landscaping
We are very happy with our service. Jeff is honest, reliable, and had a vision for what we were interested in doing that turned out better than we imagined. His crew was respectful, punctual, friendly, and most importantly they did a fantastic job. We will be hiring the team to do our landscaping next spring. I highly recommend this company since they provide excellent work for reasonable pricing. This project included a cement path from our front driveway to backyard, additional space for a shed, a curved patio and connection to our current cement patio with steps.

    L&B'S Concrete Landscpe Borders LLC
I hired L&B's to do a border around my backyard. Been wanting one for awhile and thought I would finally treat myself. They came and did an estimate and it came out to be 89 feet of border. Once I agreed, I sent the contract signed and it took about 2 months to get done. This is acceptable as long as you are prepared to wait a couple of months to have the work done. I had all my sprinklers flagged per their request and it was annoying to have the flags up that long and keep taking them down for mowing and putting back up once done. So the time-frame was one negative. Another was at my design appointment, the guy marked one sprinkler head to be relocated, it is $25 per sprinkler to be relocated, since it was only 1 I agreed. But once they did the work, they relocated 3. This is now $75 for sprinklers, I do wish they would have asked about doing more, because I had just installed that system myself less than a year before. So that is number 2. Next was the final length of the job, during the estimate they quoted 89 feet, they ended up installing 121. That is 36% more, thus the price went up that much too, not including the $75 for sprinklers. I did measure, and the final measure is correct, but I think they quote you less footage to get you to go with them. Now that is con number 3. Lastly is one of the sprinkler heads that they relocated, they installed the concrete on top of. Not fully, just on the lip so it still works and pops up, however to unscrew it or adjust the position, the concrete is in the way of unscrewing or rotating the entire sprinkler body. Once I called them and told them and sent an email with pictures, they said it still worked fine, and now will not respond to me at all. My problem with that is that I paid them $25 dollars to relocate it, then it should have been done right. So if you by chance do decide to go with them; be sure to understand that it will be months to get it done, add 33% to 50% to their estimate for your final cost, and relocate all your sprinklers yourself.

    Legacy Concrete Inc
Overall, Legacy Concrete was terrific. From the beginning, Robert was professional and responsive. Overall communication access and frequency was excellent which is unusual for contractors, in my experience. I contacted 6 concrete companies. One didn't call me back. A second never showed for their estimate. Of the remaining four, Legacy Concrete stood out. Robert's grandfather and father were on the job each day, in addition to their team. Our project looks great!

    Legacy Concrete Inc
The price was very fair and the contractors did an excellent job. Legacy Concrete went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their work at the end of the project. I will be hiring them again for my upcoming concrete projects.

    Enviroshapes Concrete
This project went very well from start to finish. The crew showed up when they said they would and did a great job. I tend to ask a lot of questions and want to make sure I was not missing anything throughout the day since I was not present during the construction of it, and they did not mind all the questions about making sure it was at the proper depth and taking pictures throughout and sending them to me while I was at work. I would definitely hire again. My only concerns would have been the removal of sod near the new driveway could have been put back in place better and one of their machines (not sure if truck or bobcat) leaked oil in front of property, but was in street. This would not stop me from using them again. This was about a year ago and work still looks great.

    Omega Concrete
It's been less tha a year & patio has 2 cracks& puddles because it's not graded right sidewalk in back yard has 2 cracks, sidewalk in front yard is cracking because they laid the concrete over water drain spout for roof and water has no place to go so it froze over winter! Called Omega to fix because is still under warranty. Mr. Herrera said he would not redo it. He wants to put a filler in cracks

    Design Exteriors LLC
Very well. Sonni was very pleasant to work with. He was present and patient with our questions, process, decision making, and helpful in identifying needs and vision for our landscape. I was impressed with his willingness to forgo the plans (if we wanted) when we were ambivalent about moving into action (the night before transformation on our yard was to begin). His vision for design and knowledge with the materials (plants, labor, water-wise planning, skills to work with people and coordinate so many factors) was superb! Sonni, also, was very responsive to questions and needs that arose in the process. The project was actually done at the time that he'd originally talked about it being started. We were glad for this and were in a position to be flexible with when things could happen. We did not realize coming into this how much things would cost or what our budget would buy. We did go up from our original plan in what we would afford and this was stretching. Sonni was very willing to work with us though and supported us to do the work we could do ourselves (we put in the mulch and will plant in stages: smaller plants in May). Design Exteriors really did the foundational hard work. We really enjoy our restful space that is a HUGE burden off our back as our yard is enjoyable, much easier to maintain, and is saving our fence from further water damage. The men who worked for him directly were great to work with and were respectful and very helpful: considerate of us, our property, and our kids; empowering us with what to consider in our choices; and helpful in how to maintain things on our own. It was a good experience working with Sonni and his men. There were several and the two that we worked with most directly: Enrique and Eduardo. Thank you to all of you. We highly recommend Design Exteriors.

    Enviroshapes Concrete

<!-- .ExternalClass .ecxhmmessage P { padding:0px; } .ExternalClass body.ecxhmmessage { font-size:12pt; font-family:Calibri; } --> On about 9/15/2014 we signed a contract with Enviroshapes to pour a solid colored 18'x 56.5' driveway with a one foot stamped border along both sides. The center to be a broom finished. A 3' wide x25' long colored and stamped along the side of our garage. Replace and enlarge the  existing porch. Replace 186 sq.ft area around the porch. Replace 110 sq.ft. of curved front sidewalk all of these to be colored and stamped to match the drive. All of these were removed by us, the homeowner prior to Enviroshapes coming on the job. We take great pride in our property and expected quality work as per the contract.
Everything was formed and ready to pour. On the day they poured the driveway the first of three trucks arrived and we noticed that it was not colored cement coming from the truck . We stopped the work and spoke to Juan, Jay Allman's subcontractor, who does business as Spring and Fall construction. He said he did not know the center section was supposed to be  colored cement, although it was clearly stated in the contract. He pleaded with us to allow them to continue with the uncolored cement, and that he had this very special concrete paint which would last forever and be better that the colored mix. We mistakenly allowed him to go ahead. Very long story short, sometime after the concrete had dried Juan showed up with this special paint which he swore would penetrate the surface and last forever. It wasn't even the color we wanted. We learned a lot about  driveway paint and that they can't properly be painted to hold up as per every paint manufacturer that Jay Allman suggested that he was positive would work for us. This went on for a year from the signing of the contract. He told us that it would be over $5,000 dollars to tear out and do properly, and believe me Mr. Allman did not want to do this. So he would show up with these god awful colored stains which on checking with those manufacturers cannot be applied over a painted surface, which now at this point was painted. We resigned ourselves to the fact that this drive was never going to be right. Allman insisted he would make it right and never did.
There was an gazebo that we wanted eventually to have new concrete poured around.  Allman gave us a bid of around $1800 dollars. Juan's crew did the work and when Allman showed up I told him he wasn't payed for anything until the other work was done to our satisfaction and per the contract. He went completely ballistic, threatening to place a lien on our property.  I ended up flagging down a police car just to get him off my property and some other officers responded as well.
I suggest that if you want to look at this fiasco and the cracks that have developed in all the wrong places, and not where the creases were put, the scratched paint that we paid over $11,000 dollars for. Mr. Allman will come back with a rebuttal and all sorts of excuses where he will probably blame us. As you can see in the other rebuttals on this site khe is great at placiing  blame back on the consumer  but not so great at rectifiying his mistakes.  Give us a call at 303-345-5695 and come by and have a look at their work and I'll fill you in on how Mr. Allman really operates complete with police reports, unending emails that weren't answered and broken promises and unfulfilled contracts. Do not hire these people . Jim and Carol Lynch

    Legacy Concrete Inc
Fall of 2015, I was attempting to get this work done.  However, it was also a booming time in Denver for new construction.  I could not get the 3 quotes I wanted, because everyone was so busy.  Affordable Concrete did come and give me an estimate, but I initially thought their prices were a bit high.  I did finally get several estimates, but could not get anyone to come to actually do the work.  In February 2016, however, Affordable Concrete reached out to me and, after discussion, lowered the price.  The workers are really all family, and I really appreciated their work ethic, kind attitude, and professionalism.  I know there are different prices now, but this company does the best job comparably.  I will just call them for all my future concrete needs!
