The people at bobs are amazing. All I do is drop the car off the day before my scheduled work and tell them what I want done and the next day they call me and talk me through all of the work they needed to do, and what they suggest I do next. I can ask them any question that comes to mind no matter how silly and they take the time to explain it to me. My dad bought all of his tires from Bob's (winter and summer) and because he bought them at Bob's they change his tires for free. Twice now Bob's has given me a discount of work, the first time because I had taken my car to another shop which had enormously misaligned my wheels so they gave me a $50 credit because of a mistake that SOMEONE ELSE made. The second time was when I took my car in just to be looked over before a long trip, they kept the car looked at all of the areas I asked them too, determined there was nothing wrong, and didn't charge me a cent for the time it had taken them. By far the best garage in town with kind and experienced workers. The only garage I will ever go to.

Great as usual. This was minor service however, we've been going to Doc's since moving here in '99 and if you are looking for a trustworthy and capable mechanic shop this is it! Easy to communicate with and always courteous.

I bought my 2004 Ford F-250 new from Steamboat Motors and have had all service and maintenance work done there ever since. The truck is still going strong at 135,000 miles. Their work has always been done on time and their advice has been spot on.

I have found Bob's prices to be the best in town when it comes to changing over wheels and tires (note that this price is for bolting on another set of wheels, not actually changing tires on rims). They also installed a new bulb in my friend's car with no labor charge. My only (small) complaint is that my alloy rims had some dings on them after the changeover, but I never actually complained about this as it isn't a big deal. All in all, great local service at a great price!

Doc's did a solid, professional job installing a new muffler on my old Honda--solid work at a good price. My only reason for a B on price is that during a different oil change they charged me for topping up my windshield washer fluid. This is a very small thing, but I'd rather be warned and top it up myself than be charged for a tiny incidental expense like this in a $50 oil change. (If I had complained, I'm sure they would have removed the charge.) Doc is a really great guy, and you can count on quality service at his business!

Four Star is great. In the 30,000 mile service, they only changed fluids that needed it, saving me money. For an oil change, you have a real mechanic checking your vehicle over rather than a Grease Monkey trying to sell you a transmission fluid change you don't need. If there is a problem that doesn't need to be repaired, Four Star won't charge you for bringing your car in. When another mechanic wanted to sell me all new brake rotors, Four Star realized they could still resurface my existing discs for less money. I trust these guys to service my car the way they would for their own vehicles.
