I was charged a $200 processing fee that my insurance company had never heard of because they made my filling "on-site." Non-reimbursable for insurance. I also overpaid for some work and I had to call 3X before I was reimbursed. Also very pushy re "extra services" not covered by insurance. Felt like I was at a used car lot.

I've never been disappointed with them.  My girlfriend has a by-card that she uses and she went there; they were more than happy to work with her and they did not charge her additional fee.  They were very helpful.

I've had numerous procedures done from cleanings to fillings to invisalign and have been happy with the work every single time.
Dr. Nicolosi also does a GREAT job making you feel comfortable in the dentists chair which we all know is not an easy thing to do!

I have worked with him for over 20 years. He is an excellent dentist and he is in an excellent dental group. Their rates are very reasonable and they also offer a plan for people who don’t have dental insurance. He has the highest ethical standards and he is very caring and kind. They also offer Saturday hours.

The office environment is very nice, with the latest, very cool equipment.  Office staff and dentists were friendly.  However, it felt a little like being in a teaching hospital.  The techs, although very sweet, seemed inexperienced and on multiple occasions, it took many times to get an x-ray the dentist could read.  Sometimes, another person would come to take over to try to get the x-ray done, which was a releif because dental x-rays can be unpleasant.  In addition, I got canker and cold sores after each visit  from cuts related to having equipment jammed in my mouth, something I have not experienced with dentistry before.  Techs do most of the work, with the dentist coming in for big jobs, but mostly seeming to hop from room to room to supervise.  On two occasions, I was there for many hours over the expected/predicted appointment time, mostly sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist or for the next tech.  I don't expect dentistry to be perfect, but this seemed extreme.  Also, every time I went in (April 2010, October 2010 and Jan 2011) I was given a different dentist because the previous one was "no longer with the office".  Since I didn't really get to know them long-term, it wasn't an issue, but I wouldn't say it inspired my confidence. The work itself was also problematic.  I have had a root canal in the past and once the work was finished, had no sensation in that tooth (which is the point).  The root canal I had done eight months ago is still sensitive to cold.  It has been checked (by multiple dentists) and nobody can explain why this is the case.  The filling/onlay I had done is still as sensitive to heat, cold, pressure and sweets as it was before the work was performed.  It has also been checked, and the proposed solution has been to do multiple "bite adjustments" which have aggravated my TMJ symptoms.  Once you file a tooth down, you can't put it back, and I really wish I hadn't agreed to this as a solution.  The next step is probably a root canal on that tooth, but I am just not comfortable returning to this office to get the work done, so I am waiting for open enrollment so I can change my dental insurance. Finally, I know this stuff is expensive, but it just seemed like every time I opened my mouth they found something that cost hundreds of dollars more than the original estimate.  For example, suddenly, I needed deep cleanings every three months (insurance won't cover this more than once per year).  I felt like there was always some sort of upsell, then some sort of "we'll throw this in free because we want you to have the best..."  If it weren't for the other issues and the fact that it felt like a dental conveyer belt, I might felt more comfortable.  As it stands, I don't know enough about the industry to say something fishy is going on for certain, but I just don't feel comfortable going back.

They are very professional and know what need to be done. They are very honest, open and upfront. I have no complaints. They are very easy to work with and very understanding. They work with you very nicely with the money that you have.

This was the worsed experience I have ever had with a dentist. First, they advertising crowns in one visit. It took me three and then the work was still not done properly and was in pain. After the first visit the dentist ground down all three teeth I needed worked on and sent me on my way. One of those teeth was left so sharp that I continuely cut my tongue. None of the teeth were given temporary crowns. So, I spent a week not being able to eat anything harder than a banana on either side of my mouth. After the second visit, the crowns were created via computer generated models and though this sounds really cool it is not. The crowns fit poorly. And I was still in pain. Because this was a very busy time for me I couldn't get back for two weeks. I could at least chew on one side of my mouth. The third visit I had to call and make an appointment because I was still in pain. As far as they were concerned I was done. However, on the third visit they removed a bunch of excess cement and smoothed and polished the crowns. They also adjusted the bite. All these things should have been done on the second visit or at the very least a third visit scheduled. After a few days I was still in pain and knew this was not right. I scheduled an appointment with another dentist at a different location and with another name but connected to River Point Dental Group. A third root canal was done on one tooth that the first dentist just ground down. New crowns were produced using the same method. I really like the second dentist but the two teeth on my left side are still not right and cause me freguent discomfort. And, I'm now in search of dentist that can make things right. I fear this may be difficult as impressions were never taken of the teeth. And I believe the problems I'm having currently are because the computer generated crowns are ill fitting. Thankfully, I paid for the work using a creidt card and ended up contesting the charges after spending 45 days in varying degrees of pain and them not performing as advertised it ended up costing me nothing. The bad news of course is that I will have to pay someone else to fix the the crowns if they can be fixed. I would not only steer clear of River Point Dental Group but I would hestitate before using another computer generated crown system ( CAD/ CAM) ever again.

I originally picked this dentist's office because they are in my network and in a convenient location. I've been very pleased with their work. I go in for cleanings every six months. Joyce is an excellent hygienist. She always has good advice for areas to work on between cleanings. She is also very friendly. My family and I have seen several different dentists at this office and been happy with all of them.
