    In 2013, I killed the motor in my '09 Legacy.  I towed it to a dealer who wanted more than $8,000 to repair the motor.  They suggested that I trade it in for a new car. No way I could pay for it.  No way I could live without a car (75 mile roundtrip commute).  No way I could buy a new car.  I searched and found Roos Only.  They gave me a ballpark estimate to replace the motor without seeing the car, which was 60% of the dealer (final cost $4,737).   I took a chance on Roos and had it towed to Roos. 

     You never know if you're making the right choice so I thought I would provide an update. 

     It has been 3 years almost to the day and my Suby now has 142,371.  I have 55,045 miles on the rebuilt motor and it still runs (and looks) great.   The motor has been trouble free since the rebuild.  I got this decision right.  I have had a few other services done at Roos  (oil changes; catalytic converter) and it went great.  I wish that I could remember the main mechanic's name to acknowledge his work.

    The Detail King LLC
    Terry and his team did a fantastic job detailing my Xterra.  I do a lot of 4 wheeling and snowboarding trips to the mountains, so that means a lot of surface grit and grime.   Before the clay bar treatment Terry did, you could feel a lot of grime on the paint surface.  Afterwards it was a smooth as silk.   They had great attention to detail and I was 100% satisfied.   Best detail I have ever had on one of my vehicles.   Highly recommended.

    Tim is very honest and very affordable.  On the big items, I've taken it to the dealer and he's usually 65-75% less.  I haven't had any problems afterward with the cars once he fixed them.
    He's a small shop, so he doesn't have the fastest turnaround time, but I don't mind waiting an extra couple of days to save an extra $750!

    Lowell is the consummate professional - an absolute joy to work with. He has a very loyal customer base, and usually I bring the car for a specific thing, and tell Lowell to do anything else he thinks is necessary  -- if it will be a lot of money just call. In the days pf paper checks you could just sign the check and give it to Lowell!!
    On more than one occasion we have had some tight schedules, and his team has sourced parts and worked late on Saturday to get the car back. We give them a credit card over the phone, and the car is parked out for pick up.

    Dave was extremely professional. He was on time and was extremely friendly. He payed attention to details that I would not have thought about including making sure no glass fragments remained in the vents. He ensured I knew what he was doing and also guaranteed his work. If I ever have another windshield break I will not hesitate to call him back.

    I called Tom from a referral from a friend.  I told him of the service that was due on my Honda, he instantly rattled off what Honda does for that specific service.  He explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate.  He also said he would check many other things on my car but would not perform any service outside of the 110k service until he spoke with me and got approval first.  The next day my car was ready and he had all used parts out and educated me on how certain parts worked.

    They were polite and professional, and they did the work quickly. But they spilled oil in the engine compartment (funnel, anyone?), they left the car parked outside unlocked, and they smeared greasy black hand-prints on the leather seats that I had to sponge out with leather cleaner. The mechanical work seems fine, but I was expecting them to take better care of my car.

    Everything was very smooth from start to finish. I arrived, they were ready for me and immediately took my car to work on it. Within 30 mins they were done and I was out of there. Good quality service, very nice people and very clean facility which to me showed care and respect for their work. I would definately use them again.

    We have been taking both our Hondas to Tom for several years now. He is always conscientious and safety-minded. He will not recommend repairs that aren't necessary and lets us know how urgent a particular repair is. His estimates are always accurate and we never pay more than the estimate. He is friendly and always accommodating. The service is always performed promptly and we never end up waiting for the service to be completed. I highly recommend Tom to any Honda owner.
