    Tender Care Veterinary Center
horrible service .. they left my scarred puppy with a vet tech 'cause the doc went home .. I guess to catch up on his sleep and her heart gave out and he wasn't there to help her ( an after ER service which they charged $1000 up front ) the next day when I went to pick up her remains, they couldn't even remember the gender or the name .. they just care about the $'s .. I would not recommend it to anyone nor would I ever take another animal to them... EVER .. worst place I've ever been to.

    Splash Bath
I have taken two of our dogs to Splash Bath two times in the past and had good experiences. The service was good, staff was friendly, and the prices were fair. I believe you can best judge a business by how they choose to handle situations when all does not go as planned. Yesterday I called to make an appointment to have our dog Rosie seen. She is a sweet small Maltipoo. Eight weeks prior she needed to have a shave down because she had gotten matted. We have been growing it out for 8 weeks! When I called to make the appointment, I reminded them of the shave down from 8 weeks before that they provided. I requested to bring Rosie in for a bath and to have her tail trimmed to the same length of the rest of her body. I also said please trim her only as needed if she is super uneven in any areas. My husband dropped her off at Splash Bath in the morning. When he dropped her off, they asked him what she was having done. He let them know that it is whatever his wife said on the phone and to have her tail length trimmed to match the rest of her body. After returning from a field trip with my children, I picked up Rosie. As I was preparing to make payment, I was told the charge would be $65.00. I said, Im sorry, how much? Rosie was supposed to have a bath and very light trim. How can that be more than $25-$30? Immediately, the receptionist took an attitude with me and said that I was being charged a no show/no call fee from 2/20/2017 for a missed appointment for Rosie. Why would I have my dog in for a cut down after she was shaved 4 weeks prior? Makes no sense. I mentioned that I never received a reminder call for any appointment and had no recollection of making an appt. for her. She advised me that they dont always do reminder calls. The owner came up and agreed to waive the charge as a one-time courtesy. WHAT? STRANGE? You charge that every time, but dont make reminder calls every time? Next, I see Rosie. She is SHAVED down!! And her tail is still long. After some discussion, they blamed the miscommunication on my husband supposedly saying to do the same thing as last time. When I said that was incorrect, they threatened to bring up the surveillance video. So rude. I encouraged them to do so. They refused. They also refused to talk to my husband on the phone while I was in their lobby. They did require me to pay $35.00 for the washwhich should have been on the house since they severely messed up my dogs coat. They take absolutely NO OWNERSHIP and do not care about their customers. Ill be refusing the charge. I just wanted my dog back. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, POOR STAFF COMMUNICATION, ACCUSES THEIR CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF TAKING OWNERSHIP. Who shaves down a dog in the middle of CO Winter if they dont need it done without even second guessing themselves???? They told me to buy some sweaters! We will never take any of our three dogs there ever again. Bummer, I love to support local businesses. My frustration comes from the fact that they blamed my husband and myself for miscommunicating what we wanted done which was just so far from the truth. They accused us of lying, got an attitude in the process, and acted like they were doing me a favor by discounting my bill for a service I never even requested.

    Tender Care Veterinary Center
I'm always pleased with the service I receive. From the front desk, the veterinary assistants, the veterinarians and the groomer. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and you are made to feel very welcome. The vet assistants are sensitive to the needs of your pet. They discuss the reason for your visit. The veterinarians are professional, caring and friendly. I have never felt pressured into procedures. We have discussed how urgent, or not, the procedure is and are given an estimate of the cost. The groomer, Jessica, will meet with you prior to the grooming to discuss the services you want for your pet, including any special requests. She is very thorough and helpful. You can rely on the pick up time. You will be informed of any possible delays such as having to prep a pet for surgery.

Both grooms were under $100. That was a groom, cut, teeth clean, nail trim and anal glands. It was around $80 for two dogs. The Bordetella, rabies and wellness check was altogether $75. They are a new establishment. I've also used their grooming service and boarding service. They are open seven days a week and always on call. It's owned by military vets. Everything that I liked about the other veterinary service, is there. I've got a new puppy. I said, "Well, let me go ahead and schedule a new appointment." I was thinking I was going to go ahead and do it with the vet and they said, "We could do it cheaper by just having the tech do his follow-up." I'm like, "It was no big deal. It wasn't like a make or break," but they offered that, where others places will not. They won't offer anything that's going to be cheaper for you. They were able to do two of my dogs and one of them is a three-pounder. They were able to do both of their dental services without having to remove. They handled the three-pound dog under anesthesia to do a teeth cleaning. That's really good. That's something that is very near and dear to my heart, someone that's able to take care of an animal that's not small. They always call back the next day, if not that night. Depending on what's going on, they call back that night or the next day to see how the dogs are doing.

She's very good, especially if you have a figgity dog. She is able to control them without being mean. She can restrain them without constraining them. I have a dog who always wiggles and barks and they're never scared of her. I know she treats them well.

    Pet Grooming in the Forest
My two yorkies, Buster and Bella have been groomed by Theresa and her staff since joining our family approximately six years ago. We have never been disappointed. The service we receive from Grooming in the Forest is consistantly wonderful. It is obvious they take their time and our pups are well cared for while at the shop. Their rates are very reasonable too. I would, and have, recommended this company to family and friends.
