    JOHN WRIGHT HOME APPLIANCE SPECIALIST
My older (~6 years) Kitchenaid dishwasher wasn't washing dishes very well, leaving food debris on dishes and within tub. I tried a DIY repair to find out that the food disposer was busted. I called John, but missed his morning call-in time. His VM greeting indicated to text him with details of the problem and a photo of the dishwasher S/N label. He returned my call promptly the next day, precisely when he said he would. After a brief discussion, he indicated that the cost to repair the dishwasher would be in the $400-500 range and his suggestion was that, based on the age of my dishwasher, it might be just as cost effective to purchase a new one. I ultimately decided to splurge on a new Bosch. John easily could have quoted me the price and just fixed my old one--business for him--but instead he advised me on the best course of action in his opinion. I greatly valued John's honesty and easy demeanor. Although I did not use his services, I will definitely call him should I need appliance repair in the future!

Eric was the technician who worked on our machine. Of course when he was there it seemed to work fine. He gave me some tips on how to avoid problems. We were only charged for the service call and told if they had to return they would wave the service call charge, which I thought was great. Highly recommend them.

    Sears Appliance Repair
While the initial result was somewhat promising.... the repair ended up being a complete fail. Icemaker still does not work properly. The customer experience with the Sears web site and their call center leaves a great deal to be desired. Their systems / web site is clunky and their call center and associated processes are something out of the late 1980's. If you are looking for appliance repair - do yourself a favor... find another company to do the job.

Dimitri was wonderful. He knows his "stuff" and was very informative and helpful in my decision as to what my next steps were. Need a new dishwasher-- to replace the door would cost over $600--ridiculous when a new DW costs the same or only a bit more.

Excellent service. He wants to know information about your model so he will have the possible required replacements parts with him on his first visit. The appointment was very prompt and he was punctual. Pricing is within acceptable range for this level of superior professionalism and service.

    A Roadrunner Appliance Service
Technician arrived on time and diagnosed the problem just by running the dryer. He charged me $300 including the service call fee to replace the drum rollers on a 3 year-old dryer. That might have been a fair price (I'm not sure) and also the right repair (also not sure although the rumbling noise is gone). I checked over the parts after he left (because he left them in my laundry room) and they did not seem to be damaged so much as clogged by hair, so I'm wondering if cleaning and lubrication could have fixed the problem for a lot less. As I was writing my check to pay the bill, he was telling me stories about suing customers over bad checks. I hate to post this part because I'm concerned about retaliation, but here goes. The next time I used it, my washer started leaking water all over the floor. This is a newer washer (3 years) and we have not had any other workmen in our laundry room recently. We called a different service to repair it. The tech from the other service pulled the drain house out and it is clear that the line had been cut. I can't prove this provider did it, but he is the only workman that has been in my laundry room in over a year.

Big Mikes Appliance Repair & Hvac Inc
Big Mike's was hard to reach. I left a message during business hours and they never called back. I called the following day and a reached a live person after a couple of tries. I then made an appointment for my leaky ice maker for about a week away, their first available appointment. That appointment day came and went with no one ever showing up or calling. That was three weeks ago and no one from Big Mike's has ever called about either the missed appointment or the original message.

    JOHN WRIGHT HOME APPLIANCE SPECIALIST
Our glass-top electric stove had a broken burner and oven door. Wondering whether to repair or replace it, we left a message for John Wright with the model/serial info on our stove, and he called us back promptly first thing the following morning with the info we needed. He had already taken the time to look up that particular range and found it was too old to have all the replacement parts still available - so even if we repair the burner this time, something else could break in future that would be unreplaceable. He gave us a full breakdown of repair costs if we choose to repair it anyway, as well as recommendations on reliable replacement brands if we decide to buy a new one. Thanks to his very helpful info which he charged nothing for, we decided it would make the most sense cost-wise to purchase a new one instead of proceed with the expensive repairs on our old stove. Would recommend his company as top quality, and we will definitely be calling him in future for all our appliance repairs.

    One Stop Appliance Repair
This whole experience was extremely frustating because we couldn't contact the company.  They did not return phone calls or messages.  So we never knew what they were doing, if they were still working to get the part and if they were actually going to fix the problem.  Not knowing and not being able to contact them, we almost took the microwave to another service provider when after 3 weeks they finally called to say they were going to come out to fix the problem. This was after Sharp contacted them on our behalf.

This company does not respond to phone calls or messages. ?It took several (5 -6 ) tries to contact them, other than voice mail, which were not answered. ?Once an appointment was set up the tech, Steve, came, with a 3 hour window, but couldn't fix the microwave. ?He came another day but the switch he had was defective so it didn't work. ?He said he'd call us in the AM to let us know what was happening. ?Three weeks later, and MANY phone calls later,?he came again to fix microwave. ?I was so concerned because we had already paid part of his fee, that I contacted the 800 number for Sharp appliances. ?They called this company numerous times and even emailed them, all without a response.?
