    RodCo LLC
He met us several times and was always professional. Rod took care of everything and always gave us the heads up on progress along with pictures. He handled the permitting process on our behalf and installed a fence post gate with a rock retaining wall from rocks on the land. See picture! Above and Beyond! We are already planning our next project with Rod. This is the guy you want doing your excavation project.

It went as well as we could have expected. Jared and Chris came every day and worked this job until complete. Our wall will now provide a level surface for our concrete deck behind our garage. Beyond the wall there is a slope of about 35 degrees, and our wall will reduce the erosion a great deal. Payne Landscape did a great job.

The job went as near to perfect as we could imagine.  They had given us a two-week time to complete the job, and even though there was one day that snow prevented work, they still managed to keep within the two-week estimate, mostly because they were on the job every day, and stayed at the job until it was completed.  I can't imagine finding another landscape company that could or would have done a better job.  I would recommend them 100% for this type of work.

Jared and Chris came out as agreed, on time, and began by digging into the bank and creating a level foundation for our wall.  Then they dug a drainage canal, filled it with screening material used for french drains, put in a drain over the bluff, and filled with small rocks to be used for the drainage, and bringing the floor back to level.  They then began the rock wall by laying a layer of block, filling with more rocks, leveling, adding a mesh support engineered to add substantial stability to the wall.  They did this up to the top (about 7 feet high and 30 feet wide) and placed the cap stones.  With each layer of the mesh and block, they used a compactor to hold the mesh in place and add more stability to the wall.
I can't imagine having anyone doing a better job.  This is the type of system that many road and bridge departments use for retaining walls on the sides of roads and highways.  I am sure that this wall will be here long after we and the next generation or two have gone.
We appreciate their work and would recommend them without reservation to anyone needing retaining wall work.

The experience was excellent. We had a fabulous experience. I mean who else, at the end of it, sends you a thank you letter and then says either way I will be by in the fall to ensure that everything is still maintained and that we will come in and we will do a clean up for you. He had 2 weeks to do it and he got it done in 2 weeks. We already have plans to use him in the summer. We were excited about his ideas, he was great. He did the work while we were on vacation and we came back, it was beautiful. He came by to make sure we liked it. Then a week later he sends us a thank you card. Then he dropped by and told us every job I do I will come back just to make sure that everything is correct and still laid out right and that you still like it and we will do a free general clean up for you.

    Lawnmower Shop
We were ready to cut our winter firewood but could not get the engine to run. I called one small repair shop who said they could look at it in 3 weeks. I called the Lawnmower Shop and the young man who answered the phone was very courteous and said he could get to it that afternoon. When we arrived at his shop it was clean and neat. I saw a dog bowl with food in it and asked him where his dog was. He said he fed the neighborhood stray. You have to love a guy like that. He called the next day to say our splitter was ready. It started on the first pull. He charged us $40.00. He said he had not owned the business very long and had bought it from his employer.

I've been using them for about 4 years. The owners name is Craig and besides the services he provides he also advises me on the pine needles, ticks and other problems that might arise from my pine trees. I will continue to use him.

The individual I worked with agreed to take care of the 6 willow trees for about $400.  He was a very honest person and did a great job, in the end, I felt that I should have paid him more that $400 but he insisted that was enough!

    COLORADO DREAMSCAPES, LLC
Josh supplied an estimate and I agreed that he would do the job. He wanted $3000 as a down payment on the job, in order to obtain materials. He said he would start in two weeks. After giving excuse, after excuse the job hadn't been started for over 10 weeks! He lied and said he had a family emergency and was out of town for several weeks, but I saw him in town when he said he wasn't. After listening to more of his lies, I told him I didn't want him to do the job and that he had broken the agreement and I wanted my money back! He said he had to keep $2500 of the deposit, because of the time he spent estimating and doing paperwork for the job! Josh is a crook of the highest order! He is a liar and a cheat! He is a super flake as well!
