    They came out and evaluated my sprinkler system and suggested adding another zone for a pricey sum. I said I���d think about it. I have called twice to discuss this improvement and my calls have not been returned. Four days ago they sprayed for weeds and my weeds are still looking very healthy. I called this morning to ask what could be done to remedy the situation and was not given a difinitive answer. I was told that maybe someone would come out and take a look. However, I was told that I owe $111.19 for the weed and beatle spray.

    Ran-Ran the Sprinkler Man
    Randy was great! He answered the phone himself when I first called and got all my info. Then set a date to come out when the freezing nights would pretty much be over so we could turn the water back on. He arrived precisely on time and got right to work. When he saw that one of my sections on the sprinkler wasn't working, instead of just quoting me a price he told me to give it about a month and keep an eye on that section of lawn because he thought the spray from the others would cover that section and I could save the cost. So far, so good, thanks for that! I will definitely be calling him back when it's time to winterize and I would feel comfortable recommending him to my friends and neighbors. Oh and just on a personality level, he was great with my dog!

    Ran-Ran the Sprinkler Man
    I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for sprinkler winterization.  I corresponded several times with the provider to schedule the work.  He said he would contact me in a couple days to finalize schedule.  Two days turned into two weeks, and I never heard from him.  I contacted the provider and he stated that I wasn't in his service area and he didn't have time for my job for another month.  I requested a refund for the big deal I had purchased.

    Kim came out on June 22 to assess my needs. She was very nice. Walked with me to look at both front and back yards. First talked about the brown patches in my lawn. I asked if I needed a new sprinkler system or just a repair. She told me the sprinkler system people would have to come out & assess. Proceeded to talk about landscaping wants & needs. She came up with some possible ideas. When asked about my budget, I said that it would depend on whether the sprinkler system needed replacement or just repairs. I said I would be willing to spend at least $3,000 over the cost of repairs and would have to adjust if the entire system needed replacement and might need to go with a 2 year plan with landscaping the second year. I asked for a 2-tiered estimate: 1) the cost of a nicely landscaped yard and 2) the cost of a superbly landscaped yard. She then took measurements and told me it would be 2 weeks before she could get back to me.
    Four weeks later, I called the company and asked about my estimate. Very soon after that I received an email saying she had been really busy. The estimate contained a rough explanation of where some plants would go with names of plants, most of which were unfamiliar to me. Only one estimate was provided. When I emailed back that I was disappointed with her service, she told me that my (low) budget had restricted her to just a few plants because replacing my sprinkler system was going to cost at least $3,000. She said that they do not repair sprinkler systems, only replace them. There was never any correspondence from her to confirm our conversation during her on-site assessment in June. I will say that since I was unsure about what I wanted/needed, my requests were vague and my budget an approximation at best. Kim took no responsibility for any miscommunication. With better communication, I would have been very willing to increase my budget (again, going with a 2 year plan). I would also have welcomed a chance to speak directly with the sprinkler system people. I feel that a lot of the miscommunication would have been avoided with timely emails.

    Work was done in a professional manner, in a very timely manner. Fees were very reasonable, and the owner (Jodie) is very responsive. Only complaint that I have is the new sprinkler lines were, in some cases, installed too close to the surface. The aerator busted some lines. Make sure they dig lines deep enough at the beginning. Some minor warranty work (including patching sprinkler lines) were needed, and Jodie responded and fixed very quickly.
