    They had the Jeep for a very long period because they got the wrong parts? new fuel pump and choke still not right?? They rebated me some but I can't go back! If my car would have been a Subaru they would have had the knowledge? M. L.

    Received quote for work needed on fleet vehicle.  Was overly expensive and ended up using Hinsdale Automotive down the street.  Have used hOT sHOTS FOR OTHER WORK (oIL CHANGES AND THE LIKE FOR FLEET VEHICLE, AND   now that I know Hinsdale is so much less expensive, I'll probably move our business over there.

    I don't remember the actual cost but I refered my mom there and they treated her right and didn't give her any guff and got her back on the road right away.  I recommended Tilden to her after living near there.  They always did us right.

    Nick and KC at Hinsdale are fantastic.  They completed my oil change in good time and let me know that I need my front brakes done and that a belt was starting to crack.  They even gave me quotes for the work and when i said that I didn't have the money for it now, they nodded and understood.  they told me approximately how long I could go before I would need to have the work done.  i have been using Hinsdale for 5 years now, through ownership change, and they're always wonderful with customer service and I'll continue to come back, time after time.

    Bringing my cars (e.g. my Audi TT Roadster 2004) up here to this convenient location. Nice service and always offering extras at no cost. Had to replace a cover on my car which apparently got loose or broken, offered to replace for free with next oil change. Bought, changed oil and done.

    Bought new Dodge Durango 2013 and got a crack in the windshield not even in 1 week
    I bought insurance for windshield and this was the closest location to the dealer
    same day drove to location, had open appointment and replaced within 2 hours
    I used their services twice so far (2 locations) and both times quick and easy replacement.

    Windshield broke on my Dodge Durango 2013 and needed to replace it through my insurance, claim inspector came out, assessed the damage and was claimable so they set me up with this provider, made quick appointment, convenient location and 2hrs later without paying a penny all done.
    They even transferred my National park sticker.

    I reached out to Elder Auto via e-mail following reading their reviews on Angie's List.  The owner, Ramon, responded back to me the same day and advised me to bring the vehicle in for a free estimate.  I brought it in the morning of July 18, 2013, and it was looked at within an hour.  Ken, one of the service advisers, came out and provided me a list of all the issues and pricing on each fix on individual estimates as well as explained each problem in English.  I asked about the rack and pinion and what a previous auto shop said and he quickly discounted it but continued to listen to my concern.  They drove the car again after I explained one of the additional sounds I've heard under tight turning and they confirmed it was the power steering pump and not the rack and pinion.
    Due to the number of issues with the vehicle, it had to stay overnight at the shop.  They contacted me Friday, July 19, 2013, afternoon to let me know the vehicle was ready.  I headed over to the shop, discussed the repairs and maintenance done on the vehicle with Ramon, and received the invoice.  The vehicle sounded great, drove better, and the steering was much improved.
    The staff of Elder Auto reached out to me on Friday, July 26, 2013, to see how everything was working.  The follow-up was wonderful!
    I discovered a small leak under the vehicle over the weekend.  I, once again, reached out to Elder Auto via e-mail as they are closed on the weekend.  Ramon responded that evening and told me to bring it in Monday, July 29, 2013, morning.  I did.  It was a minor leak caused by not tightening the bolts around the oil pan tight enough (you don't want to over tighten, they were being cautious).  They tightened it up a little more and verified no leak.  
    Excellent service!  Excellent staff!  Definitely the place to go for auto repair and maintenance.
