    Affordable Plumbing & Heat Inc
No problems. Installer explained what he was doing, took care of everything, and cleaned up afterwards. Only issue is that their dispatcher didn't warn me that there was a $75 fee for someone to come out and provide an estimate. The fee was refunded because I used their company. Note water heater was $1650 including installation. Additional work added to total.

I met with Eric on Monday to talk about replacing my 17 year old water heater. I had a real good feeling after talking with Erik and felt that he understood my needs and wants. He promised me an estimate that night or the following day. Two weeks later and I never received the promised estimate. I tried leaving a message and emailing after one week but nothing. Evidently they didn't need my business.

There was a lot of sand in the hot water heater. Brian cleaned it out and gave me the sand to take to Woodmoor Water. (It was explained by Woodmoor Water that water heaters should be flushed every couple of years.)

    Bill's Plumbing & Drain Service
It went exceptionally well. Mike, the owner, and his partner-in-crime, Nick, were timely, professional and helpful. They called shortly before arriving to alert us of their arrival time. They assessed the situation and immediately began the installation. The day before we had discovered that the furnace, adjacent to the hot water heater, was not working. Mike determined that the gas feed to the house had been turned off by people doing renovation work in the house. That discovery saved us the cost of a furnace repair man. In addition, the cost of the plumbing work was reasonable. We researched other plumbing companies and found Bill's charges to be among the most fair. He did not arrive and change his quoted price. As a matter of fact, he reduced the quoted price because the job took less time than originally predicted due to the renovation folks having already disconnected the hot water heater. I highly recommend Bill's Plumbing without reservation.

I originally had Heat Depot come out to maintain my boiler through an Angie's List special. The technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job. He then showed me the problems with my boiler (which was very old) and recommended that I have it replaced. He was incredibly thorough and also discovered a small gas leak that I had been completely unaware of. I called Black Hills Energy to verify the gas leak, then called Heat Depot and they promptly came out and repaired the leak. The technician gave me a bid to replace the boiler and I had him add my water heater to the bid since it was the same age as the boiler and I had been considering its replacement for a while. His bid included both the boiler and a side-arm water heater. I got 3 additional bids from other companies, but chose Heat Depot. I am so glad I chose them! They did a fantastic job, got it done in one day, and cleaned up afterwards to the extent that I could hardly tell they had been there except for the new boiler and side-arm water heater. Over the next couple of days, I noticed the hot water to my kitchen sink took quite a while to get hot compared to what it was before everything was replaced. I called heat depot and they were out within a few days, found the problem, and fixed it immediately. Now the water gets hot within a few seconds, even better than it did before. The next day I discovered one of the zones in my house was not heating properly. Again, after I called Heat Depot, they were out within a couple of hours and located and fixed the problem. I have been exceedingly impressed with their responsiveness and promptness. They are a hard-working, knowledgeable, friendly, and cooperative crew with a great deal of technical expertise. The office personnel have been extremely courteous, understanding, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Heat Depot!

    Pittman Construction LLC
Extremely well. Jim Pittman, contractor, was a good listener and offered outstanding ideas to our plans. He was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to all of our calls. We got along with all of his workers as if they were family. We commented how good his people were to one of his subs and he said, "Jim always picks good people". HIs workmanship was superior. His timing and planning always kept things moving. He stayed within schedule even with our "additions" during the project. We believe we were treated extremely well. Not only would we highly recommend them we would use Pittman Construction again. John & Sheila Winslow

    Talmich Plumbing & Heating
I've never had to call a plumber before, but two of my bathtubs were only pushing out cold water, so I signed up for an Angie's List special (30 point plumbing home inspection).  Mr. Talmich performed a thorough home inspection and showed me how to maintain my water heater.  He also determined the cause of my cold water issue - bad cartridge in my Meon faucets.  He was very professional and extremelly competent.  I was happy with the service and will not hestitate to use them for all of my plumbing needs and/or issues.

Nathan and Andrew were true professionals.  They arrived on time and worked until the job was done.  No mess and the plumbing work was excellent.  The price was as advertised and included a new expansion tank, which is normally extra.  They reminded us of the proper CO Detectors placement required in the house that is now included as part of the County Building Code Inspection.  We were very pleased overall and will call them again for any Plumbing or Heating issues.

Service First Plumbing Heating and Drains LLC
They did a very satisfactory job. They got the water heater installed in a good amount of time. I would use them again. They were very accommodating to our needs and did exactly what we needed. We did pay for the after installation inspection and carbon monoxide tester, but we knew that beforehand. Getting the work set up was easy and the techs showed up on time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
