How to Make Kitchen Appliances Last Longer

Appliance Repair reviews in Monument

Outstanding! The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. She was able to complete the repair quickly and at a price less than we expected. Aspen is definitely more concerned with doing a good job and treating their customers well vice squeezing out an extra dollar. Definitely hire these folks!

    Sears Appliance Repair
Sears took my $89.00... Did not repair the problem... Rescheduled for 3 weeks from original repair date. Unacceptable, after speaking with management I cancelled the future repair, asked that my money be reimbursed, no action on my refund request. I have cut up my Sears card after 40 years. Will never deal with Sears again. Stick with your local repair man.

Kevitt was very prompt in responding and came out the day after we called him. He initially diagnosed the problem as a broken fan assembly. It took several weeks for parts to come in (not his fault) and unfortunately it turned out that there was some sort of blockage in the piping and not the fan (the original started running again). He advised that the best solution was to replace the fridge. Although he spent quite a bit of time with us diagnosing and trying to fix the problem, his service charge was really reasonable. I would use him again and recommend him as a professional, honest repairman.

    Front Range Electric
I bought a deal last year, in September I believe. The deal was, as I recall, 1.5 or 2 hours of electrician labor for $90. Unfortunately I was unable to use the service during the 3 month period. That was my fault/problem. However, I was assured by Angie's List that my $90 wasn't squandered and that I could still use the money to hire them at their going rate. I called their phone number 3 times in July of 2016. Each time I got a recording saying they were out of the office. Two times I left messages, which included my phone number. They never called back.

    City Wide Appliance Service LLC
I paid them $330 up front for the parts to repair the built in oven/microwave combo and they never came back out. I've been a customer with them for years and have had a great experience in the past. Within the past month and a half they failed to honor their commitment and kept the $330 I paid them. I'm planning on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I left a message on Sunday, but didn't get a call back.  Called again Tuesday, and they were able to get to my house that afternoon.  Was going to cost almost $500 to fix my old dryer, so he recommended I buy a new one instead.  His service call was only $45, which seemed like a bargain!  Thank you!

    Hiland Appliance LLC
First I had them repair a washing machine for me - they diagnosed it from the error code, ordered the part (still under warranty, took a few days to arrive) and once it had arrived, came by and installed it.  The guy arrived right as the 2-hour window expired, and had it fixed in under 30 minutes.  So far, all A work.  A couple weeks later the dishwasher breaks, so I call them again.  This time they can't schedule me for even a diagnosis visit until the third business day after I called, but I go ahead and schedule it anyway.  Then three and half hours before my (three-hour) window starts, I get a call trying to reschedule for the next day.  At which point I cancelled and went with another provider - I didn't want to spend more time waiting for a diagnosis, just to wait longer for the part to come in again.

They came out one time and were not able to fix it but they seem to be professional and knowledgeable when they came out the second time and replaced the ice maker and they did not charge me. I would use them again in the future.

Excellent!  Came out the morning I called and returned that same afternoon with the parts and completed the job all in the same day.  Very professional.  I would use Kevin again for any appliance repair.
