    Affordable Plumbing & Heat Inc
The repair was completed flawlessly. The price was reduced for customer loyality and for warranty on a previously installed part. I am completely satisfied. Affordable Plumbing and Heat is my go to plumber!

    Affordable Plumbing & Heat Inc
sink was fine--sewer was outrageously overcharged including work I did not request that they did not perform. Manager unwilling to address issues. $250 for a non-clogged sewer maintenance is 2-3 times what any other place charges.

    Talmich Plumbing & Heating
Tom was very fast to repsond to request for service. He had to travel a considerable distance up the side of Pikes Peak  since the service was required at our house in Crystal Park. His review of the repairs was completed quickly, parts were ordered in an expedited per our request. The parts arrived within two days and Tom and his son were back up the mountain and completing our repairs before the end of the week.

    Jolly Plumbing & Heating
Jolly was the plumbing company when we built this home in 2005. Since that time, all calls from us resulted in immediate response and same day resolution in all but one instance that required an odd part. Work is always first rate
    Highly reccomended

    DMC Sewer and Water Repair
Excellent!  Response time and completion of project were quick and thorough.  The immediate problem, basement flooding, was stopped within one day of project start with French drain and grading at the most critical area.  Additional French drains, berm, and grading were completed within one week.  Both Dan and his crew were very professional at all times.  Dan is extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood exactly what the problems were and how they could be fixed.  The contract was clear and the price was fair.  We highly recommend DMC.

    Tierney Plumbing LLC
I purchased a Big Deal on Angie's list for Tierney Plumbing.
it was $135 for 2 hours of plumbing, parts are extra. I emailed Jennifer Tierney to find out how much it was to repair and replace the cartridges in the Master shower typically. She responded, labor involved is generally 2 hours for such a job if everything goes as planned. I said, i had a 2 hour special so that should work out great. Lets get it scheduled. No problems so far. The plumber arrived within the planned time frame. Took out the cartridges to find out the type of cartridge replaced the little gaskets to help seal the leak ($5 part) put it back together called and told me he would be ordering the parts and get a reschedule for install when they came. I told him I had a 2hr for 1hr special through Angie lists and he said ok took my credit card. Two weeks later the parts came in he rescheduled and installed the new cartridges. After the first shower it was leaking again even worse than before. We had to turn of the water main for the house. So apparently it didn't really get fixed right the first time. To their credit, we called first thing in the morning and the plumber came out and fixed it. This is when I called to get the total bill.
    Here it is
$174 to remove and replace to order parts
1.25hrs labor and $5 in parts

    $277 to install new cartridges
    1.75hrs labor $80 in parts.

because of a loophole in the two for 1 deal. They applied that labor to the first job only.
then charged full labor on 2nd job.

I think we can all agree that in the beginning this was quoted as 1 job yet when it came to payment
they decided it would be best for them to split it and act like it was 2 separate jobs.
I confronted Jennifer about this. She responded by saying the fine print shows it can only be applied during one day. Naturally if they would have had the parts in stock this would have been 1 day.

And I just got a call from the tenants and the shower is broken again.

And to set the record straight, I asked why I was never given the option to replace the system and actually Jennifer said most people just want a bandaid on it. I explained that if I knew I was going to have to spend nearly $500 to fix the old system a new one could have been installed and been trouble free for the next 10 years. Now I have to call a new plumber to come out and do the job right the first time.

This feels deceptive and like a bait and switch tactic.
according to their website these are the rules they live by
    We promise to:

NEVER Price Gouge or Needlessly Upsell

    NEVER use Bait-and-Switch Gimmicks

    NEVER use Unethical Practices

    ALWAYS offer 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!

    ALWAYS present ourselves as professionals!

ALWAYS do the right thing no matter what!

Also the job was quoted at 2 hrs. From the beginning and nothing out of the ordinary happened.
Of course when I brought all this to her attention she had no response.
I would say they are more concerned about making money then having customers that want to call them back.
You be the judge, but I won't be contacting them for any more work and I'll be filing complaints with the BBB, Texas State Board of plumbing examiners and the FTC for deceptive trade practices.
    one last thing
It just happened to work out to the penny
that the price was exactly the same coupon or not at $451.25.
    Coincidence, I think not.

    Bill's Plumbing & Drain Service
First of all, they showed up to do the estimate when they said they would be here.  The estimate was very competitive with what we got from one other plumber (tried to get additional estimates from other plumbers but they would not show up and then tell me they were too busy to do a job like this).  Once we booked Bill's, we set a date to begin the project.  The day before they called to confirm their appointment the next day and let me know approximately when they would be showing up.  On the first day, Justin called about 20-30 minutes before he arrived.  Each day after that I had a call the morning before they came.  When they left, they always gave me a status update with what they did and what they were planning on the next day.  Once, they had to leave in a rush to go to an emergency but I got a call at 8PM that night with the daily status report.
It is those little things that are helpful and give the consumer great confidence.
The team at Bill's plumbing did a great job.  Communication.  Showing up on time.  Flexibility (we added a few things once they were there since we had the walls opened up).  Considerate of my home and family.  It was a great experience and we will be using Bill's again when we redo the kitchen!
    I consistently recommend Bill's.
Lastly, I don't believe in giving people all "Excellents" on surveys like this.  But, I did here.

    Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
Weekend, water heater went south, called a few plumbers, Franklin was able to send a plumber within a few hours. Had the correct water heater on the truck, could not have been better.
Plumber not equipped with a GPS, had a tme via cell phone guiding him in. I would have expected a GPS on board all Franklin trucks
Price was higher than we could have spent, but you pay for fats and good

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Colorado Springs
The problem started on Sunday afternoon, and after calling Mr. Rooter (they've been our plumbing company for a long time), Doug came right out and cleared up the tree root problem and re-established our service. After coming out again on Monday to do more work, we were provided the option to replace a deteriorated connection to the city main. That work required major digging and repair work on the north side of our house. During the digging, the phone line was cut -- actually twice. The workmen called a supervisor; the supervisor kept us advised, continued supervising the work, which was completed that day. They fixed the phone line, and after all the yucky clean-up work was done, left the landscaping better than it was before. They handled themselves professionally and courteously, and didn't provide any excuses -- they provided the service we needed and went beyond what we could expect. It's not what happens during a job like this -- it's how it turns out and how problems are handled when they're encountered. I would definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

    Home Heating Service Inc
Workers spent all day here. They stayed until the job was done which was about 6:30pm that night. It was not the most straight forward job so we appreciated the extra effort. We feel very comfortable with the quality of work they performed.
