  • Really well! Technician was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. It didn't take him long to see where the problem was and not much longer to fix it. A backed up toilet can be a messy thing and he left my bathroom as clean as he found it. Will be calling them for drain needs in the future.

  • Pleased to say it went very well. This is my first time using this company and I have nothing but positives! From booking the appt. to them arriving in the time frame promised to the job being done in a timely manner at a competitive price. I will definitely call them for future plumbing issues.

  • Chambers was called for a second opinion and listened to us. They investigated the drain with a snake and a camera and found that the knock out cap that covered the toilet drain while the house was being built had been knocked into drain. They returned with a second machine a day later and extracted the knock out cap.

  • Great. Service man showed up about 30 minutes after I called. Was in and out in 25 minutes. Cleaned out drain and ran hot water thru for several minutes to flush line and ensure the buildup was cleared. Cost was only $85. I had a quote from Mr. Rooter for $359 for the job, sent that guy packing before calling Drain Doctor.

  • Seth arrived on time and was very friendly. He located a problem with the kitchen plumbing we didn't know about and got it fixed for us. We like working with him and look forward to possibly working with him in the future.

  • Andy was very professional and personable. He shared some techniques for unclogging sink drains and things to avoid with toilets (tank water cleaners eat away at the tank plug). He was quick and efficient and very knowledgeable.

  • A toilet was flushing very slowly. Repeated plunging was required to get anything down. Mark,  the plumber came out to check it.
It was a strange problem to figure out. After doing some testing, he determined there was no clog in the toilet or sewer line. He figured out that some gunk was likely plugging up the toilet's flood rim (such as minerals or mildew) and cleaned it out. I've never run across this and he said it was pretty unusual but the toilet works great now. I was impressed with his professionalism, friendly attitude, and ability to think outside the box to fix this problem. The price was very reasonable and I highly recommend Action Plumbing!

  • First Attempt - Was on a Saturday, Arrived within hours of the call. Took about one hour, line could handle normal house outflow.

First time we ran our washing machine, about 4 days later, gurgling noises came up from the sewer. Second time, water backed up into our bath tub.

Second Attempt - Was on a weekday, arrived an hour after the appointment. They spent about 3 hours. Cleared out tree roots in my home line, close to the main sewer line. They ran a camera down the line and showed me that the line was clear and intact all the way through the main sewer tap. Service call was free, but I paid for running the camera down the line.

  • I called the provider on Labor day because the drain to my kitchen sink and washing machine was broken and backing up. The work was horrible. I called the dispatch at 10:20, and she told me the tech would arrive in an hour. An hour later, she called and said their was a mix up and that the tech would be there in another hour. When the tech (Drew) arrived, he insisted first on and quot;Diagnosingand quot; the problem, which I already told him what it was. To and quot;Diagnoseand quot; the problem he had to take the hot water heater apart (Not sure why, it worked absolutely fine). He said it was their standard procedure. Upon taking it apart he had to remove the pressure relief valve for some reason as well.

When putting the hot water heater back together, the pressure relief valve wouldn't close, which he indicated was caused by its advanced age and insisted that if the water heater had been properly maintained that wouldn't happen. The hot water heater was working fine before he took it apart. Finally after hitting the valve a couple of times and removing some of the water and playing with it, he got it to close.

After that incident he worked on the actual reason for his visit which was the clogged sink. At which time he swore up and down that his snake would only be successful if he cleaned it with a water jet which was going to cost more money. I politely declined at which point he said his snake wasn't getting the clog and the only way it would, would be to spend the additional money. After I told him no several more times, I went upstairs to the kitchen drain and the drain was miraculously unclogged, with no water jet. I sent him away thinking that the problem was resolved. Somewhat dissatisfied at the fact that I wasn't convinced that the problem was solved. Either way, the drain was fixed.

Only one problem...The water heater was broken, and with no hot water. It turns out the technician turned the thermostat all the way to its lowest setting and then forgot to reset it before leaving. So I adjusted it up to a higher setting and it was a no go. The thermostat is broken somehow, or at best not functioning. I will be calling another service provider to come fix the water heater and review their work as I am completely dissatisfied and feel ripped off at best.

  • They came on Saturday for an extra fee of 130.57 and said he did not have a camera to look into the pipe that leads into/out of the tankless water heater and said we would need a new PVC pipe. Said, Someone would come back on Monday but they were booked so it was Tuesday. When I had the cover off of my unit, it would heat up water but once the cover was back on it didn't work so it was the air flow so, the guy on Saturday said there must be a wasp nest inside the pipe and since he didn't have a camera, it would have to be rescheduled, like I said before. Anyways, Tuesday and a different guy went outside and cleaned a apx. 4and quot; pipe filter that had two screws to take out to get to filter. Filter had that cotton fluff that flys in the air during this time of the season. That cost was their minimum fee of 130.57. So a total of 249.57. A lot of money to clean out a filter. I even saved them trips back up by checking the water for heat. Yes, they did check the other pipes but I just installed a new filter on the inside of unit.
