    Patriot Tree Company
The arborist came out and gave me a quote and told me it would be about 3 weeks. I received an e-mail a couple of weeks later telling me the date they would be out. They came out that day and performed the work very well. They cleaned up the parts of the yard where the work was done and left those areas very neat. They did everything I expected them to do.

    Arbor Star Tree Care
He's very knowledgeable, professional and his prices are always reasonable. His removal of our large old cottonwood was a sight to behold. He took our plum tree out quickly and even left us the large wood pieces for our fire pit. He's great to work with.

    American Eagle Tree Care
Ramiro was able to climb the tree to cut it down in sections. He tied ropes to each piece to control where it fell. No other trees or parts of our landscape were damaged. They were very professional, took care to clean up and haul away.  Very fast response to our call for an estimate and to complete the work.

    Champion Tree Healthcare
Rick and an associate arrived at 6:45am on Saturday.  They started by manually cutting out the branches of the five trees in front of the house.  This required that Rick climb up each tree secured with safety ropes and spikes, while the second man held onto the ropes and cleaned up the fallen branches.  At all times it appeared that safety was a priority and that there was good communication as they methodically moved to each tree.  When the branches were removed they then started to cut down the tree trunks using a chain saw and safety ropes to drop the trunks away from the house and my windows.  Once the trunk was on the ground they cut it up into manageable pieces and stacked them up.
The other two trees where on the side of the house, in a corner of the six foot privacy fence.  Because of their proximity to the house and windows, a section of the fence and gate had to be removed to drop the tree trunks away from the house.  They worked till 8:00pm on Saturday and replaced the fence section and gate.  They stacked all the branches and trunks in front of the house and did a preliminary clean up.  They returned at 7:00am on Sunday morning and worked until 2:00pm to load up all tree parts and left my property very clean.  Thanks for a job well done.

    Juan's Affordable Tree Care
Great service from Juan's Tree Service. I made the initial call and received a call back within an hour. They came out the next evening to give me a quote. The price was fair. We scheduled the service within the next week. They showed up when they said they would. When the job was complete, they cleaned up and left the place spotless. Unless you knew there was a tree there before hand, you'd never even know it was removed that day. Completely satisfied and I would highly recommend.

    The Davey Tree Expert Company
They seem to be well-educated especially on trees. They know how to care of them and we trust their advice. I do not remember the exact price of their service and we have a lot of trees in our property. We plan to continue using them in the future.

    Juan's Affordable Tree Care
Juan and Donna visited us for the estimate, and they were both very friendly, professional and easy to work with.  Juan trimmed two of our mature trees, and they look great.  Juan also offered to remove a volunteer bush that I didn't want.  He did this for no additional fee.  The work took less time than I thought it would.   I look forward to working with them again next year for another problem tree we have.

    TLC Tree Expert, Inc
After talking with friends about the mature ash tree in our front yard, we knew we wanted to have the pruning performed by a certified arborist to ensure that the tree would last for many years.  We received quotes from 4 different companies and chose TLC based on Chris's knowledge, professionalism, and the price for the job.  TLC was on the higher end of the estimates (we rejected the lowest bid since it was way too low), but Chris was negotiable on price -- we felt we got our money's worth for a job well done.
We had to reschedule our initial appointment due to weather, but Chris and his team (2 other certified aborists) showed up on time and got right to work trimming our trees.  It was amazing to watch those guys up in the tree pruning out all the dead branches and just generally shaping up the tree.  When the work was finished, we were really pleased with the final product -- our tree retained a nice canopy and will be safe from snow damage this winter.  I'm really looking forward to seeing the leaves return in the spring.
The pine in our yard also needed some trimming and had some old moth damage in the crown.  They trimmed this up as best they could (it's planted too close to the ash and is growing diagonally), and Chris had some good advice on how to plan our landscaping as the tree ages.  This tree will need to be removed in the coming years (too close to the ash tree, dead branches), but TLC did a great job making it look better considering its condition.
Overall, a great experience -- I'll go back to TLC when it's time to have that pine taken care of.
A general word of advice: if your tree service needs are time-sensitive, make sure that you're booking an appointment at least 3-5 weeks before you need the work done.  I think it was partially due to the time of year (people wanting to protect from snow damage) and that the good arborists are really busy, but that seemed pretty consistent across multiple providers.

    Mountain Tree Care
Two man crew arrived on scheduled date and worked through the wet/rain conditions until the job was completed.  They asked for specific directions when they needed detail/directions and gave professional options/opinions on the work.  The cuttings were removed, mulched  and the yard was clean at the completion.  The crew was curtious and professional before, during and after the job.
