    Paramount Remodeling Company Inc
For a bathroom that suffered significant damage, we needed a crew that knew what they were doing. Frankly, our bathroom was unusable and sat for months while we tried to figure out what to do. This is the main reason we went with Paramount. Given the demand in the area for construction we knew it would be challenging to a group that could commit to a minor project. Working with Mike, he helped us design a repair and upgrade that addressed all our wants and wishes, and then some. They also found ways to work within our budget. In the end, the quality of materials, workmanship and finish was outstanding. We are so, so pleased with the repaired and upgraded bathroom! We would strongly recommend Paramount.

    Genesis Master Builders, Inc.
Gross lack of supervision of employees and subs, poor workmanship, weeks without any work causing the project to be 6 months late, fraudulent accounting, and no corrective action for faulty workmanship.

We were very pleased with Paramount Remodeling. We bought an older home that has needed an extensive amount of updating. This is our 5th home project and we are very pleased with Paramount remodeling. They are the first contractor that we would use again for a project. Their attention to detail and communication are amazing. We are also incredibly meticulous and persistent in having the project done right and Max and Mike were alway on top of this before we even needed to say anything. We highly recommend Paramount and hope to use them again.

Jeff is really great to work with. He subscribes to a philosophy that seems like such common sense, but it's so rare to find in craftsmen: be on time, be respectful of people and their homes, and do quality work. Those simple things alone are worth hiring Jeff, because it just makes your life less stressful. As for the work, I was really pleased with everything Jeff did. For kitchen cabinetry work, he's very good, but also very efficient. All the old cabinets went out and the new ones were in with very little disruption to our life. I also appreciated the attention to detail and desire to do the installation properly. You can hire all sorts of people to do cabinet installs, and you might not always notice the sloppiness, but I usually do. That wasn't an issue here. Jeff will tell you that his real passion is in carpentry, and when we decided we wanted to re-do our kitchen entry and pass through with custom trim and an arch, I reached out to Jeff. Again, it was just an overall pleasant experience, and the work turned out really great. We sent Jeff a few pictures from the internet to illustrate the various elements we were looking for, and he was able to pull it all together while also making good recommendations for what would look best.

    Turnpike Handyman
First of all you need to be aware that Fred Crowe is the company owner. He intended to run the company as a business, and then closed it down right after the season to avoid any liability issue. The state record shows he started the company in early 2014 and closed it in a year. So the extra charge for his warranty actually covers nothing at all. It was essentially a scandal. Public should be aware of his immoral business practice. He could do this to the customers for now, and he can do it again in the future to other people. Unfortunately we were one of his customers during 2014 summer. They did terrible jobs on everything. The bathtub replacement and plumbing was not done professionally, and caused leaking and water damages all over the house. I called him and he never responded and I had to email him. Then he simply said his company was closed so he is not going to cover anything, even though I paid extra 15% for warranty when we signed the contract. However he is still active on the business, but with a different company name. Other than that the tiling and flooring were done terribly too. The transition on the floor in the bathroom has a big gap. When my kids walked on that, it caused bleeding on their foot. Don’t be cheated by what they say or their beautiful web pages. Also his references are all his relatives or his friends. Not trustable. Their practice was not professional at all, even they pretended they are professional. The window screens had lots of paint and textures and they were not willing to clean. Also they promised they can finish the jobs in two weeks, but actually took them three months. They even brought a dog to my property during the work. They reason was they didn’t want to leave the dog home alone. Later, the dog ran away because they did not leash it well. My family and I had to spend many hours to help them to look for it. This is very unprofessional.

    Petra Custom Builders
His name is Steve Kitsmiller and he is operating under a different name now. It is Petra Custom Builder. They did really well. They are very busy so it can take quite a while to get on their schedule. The shower was $6,000, the window was $3,500 and the kitchen things were $1,500.

    Melton Design Build
Everything was excellent. It was a great experience and they did a great job on a really big kitchen remodel. They provided great all around service, kept the job site extremely clean and cared about the job site. They finished on time and worked great with us individually. All the members of their team were really good.

    Tile By Simon
Tile by Simon did a great job  remodeling two bathrooms.  I initially engaged Randall (Simon) to install ceramic tile on two bathroom floors but due to a leak problem in one shower, I had to expand the project to include replacing a shower and fixtures.  Although his expertise is tile, Simon was great about finding and arranging other contractors to do the plumbing and glass work so I didn't have to general contract the projects which was very important to me.  Simon and Angel were great about working around my crazy schedule, squeezing me in despite delays associated with the expanded project scope, working extra hours/weekends to complete the work quickly, and all in a way that my family hardly even knew they were in the house! The tile work turned out beautifully and I would definitely hire Tile by Simon again!

    Stellar Painting & Remodeling
The workers were very punctual, very professional, and did high-quality work.  They were so easy to work with, and had several suggestions to make the project better (nothing increased the price, just made the project better).  They were inventive, efficient and friendly.  The tile guy was working with some crazy tile we'd bought (round aluminum on sheets).  He actually did some thinking and working at home (off time) to make our installation go well.  In addition, he came up with an ingenious was to work with our tile.  The results are fantastic.  We've received many, many compliments.

Overall the renovation went great. In the end it took an extra week (was supposed to only take 1 week for everything), but a combination of massive flooding in the area and some other personal issues came up to make it take longer. Jeff was great at letting us know what was going on and why and got it finished up as soon as he possibly could, totally outside of his control and I wanted it done right instead of rushing to get it finished when he wasn't capable of taking the proper time. The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness was that it took some time to get everything completely finished, but I don't think this was really through any fault on their part. The quality was pretty great, but we have noticed a few tiny flaws here and there with the glass tile work they did, probably more an A- than a B, but we are still really happy and would use him again in a heartbeat.
Between the time we planned the remodel and when we were actually able to start we ran into some financial issues, Jeff was fantastic with helping us figure out how to scale things back in a way that was the most efficient. We have a few projects left to do to finish everything up, but they should all be quick and easy to do without having to re-do anything that was done. He was also great with quoting some other work around the house, we are definitely going to be using him once we have the money saved up to do some work in the kitchen and finish up the bathroom!
Jeff didn't do the tile work himself, but he checked in almost every day, Jan did a great job with it, overall very happy. He did take care of the electrical and plumbing himself. They were both fantastic with our son (1 1/2 years old) and worked around naps and safety gates, etc as necessary.
