    Desert Home Inspections Inc
I would gladly have paid substantially more for the incredible job Tim and his company did. I received the type of thorough expert service, and dare I say education, on all of the workings and nuances of our new home, what to watch out for, what to plan for, and an unparalleled level of service

    Homework Home Inspections LLC
We were very happy with the job that Cyndi did. We had the benefit of her work doing a home inspection two times in a row because the first home that we had under contract fell through (because of an HOA issue). We hired her again because we were happy with her work on the first house. She showed up promptly at the time we had agreed on, and was thorough in her work. She was happy to spend as much time as we wanted talking about the inspection. She was very pleasant-- both my wife and I really liked her. She gave a report with plenty of pictures that distinguished between important (e.g., safety) issues that needed to be attended to and other less important observations in the house. She also was able to do a radon test and coordinated to have a sewer scope performed by an additional contractor. In retrospect, the only issue I have is that I wanted more attention spent on the roof and on the furnace in the home. While I'm not sure what more she could have done, I ended up not having a sufficiently clear picture of the age of the roof or the age of the furnace. Quite possibly these are not her fault though. They might be more specialized issues that only roofers and people specializing in furnace work could know about. Or information that in reality could only be provided by the seller of the house, who had inadequate documentation. [For the sake of full disclosure, I am a recent Angie's List employee. I wanted to write a review for Cyndi's business because I had strong positive feelings about her work. However, I wanted specifically to do an Angie's List review because I hadn't done one before and it was relevant to my work.]

    THE HOME ADVISOR
I'm a real estate agent and have worked with Frank Dove with the Home Advisor for almost 20 years. With very few exceptions, inspectors are the "salt of the earth" players in the real estate industry, sharing a solid dedication to the cause of protecting the buyer's interest in the transaction. But Frank is one of the most knowledgeable and most committed amoung a group of knowledgeable and committed people. In most homes he'll spend 4-5 hours or more going through the home, not only noting issues...but working hard to see the causal connections between the issues he finds in the basement and the attic...so that you get the best understanding possible of the nature of the problems the house has (and they ALL have problems). Frank also does lots of inspections of new homes toward then end of the one year warranty period, so there's probably no one with more expertise in inspecting new or "newer" homes.

    Ecosmart Homes Inc
Without a doubt, EcoSmart Homes have been the best contract services firm that I have ever worked with since the time I bought my first home in 1982.  These guys set the standard with regard to accountability, responsibility,  follow-through, friendliness, effectiveness, and integrity.  The project plan was fully devised and described to my complete satisfaction.  The work was conducted pretty much to the project plan with some mutually agreed adjustments as needed.  The quality of work was outstanding.  The technicians doing the work were first rate.  The results have been phenomenal:  Our 1989 home is now completely comfortable on all floors -- no hotspots on warm days, no cold drafts on cool days.  Moreover, EcoSmart Homes was able to cut the air-leakage of the home in half (verified with blower-door testing), which is pretty amazing when considering that we have 2500 sqft of living area and 1000 sqft walkout basement.

    CASE INSPECTION SERVICES INC
Case was able to schedule my inspection very quickly and were professional and responsive both on the phone and in person.  I was given a walk-through of the inspection so I could see and understand the important points and issues noted in the inspection report.

    CASE INSPECTION SERVICES INC
Mr. Case was professional and thorough. His written report was very clear and well organized. The issues we discussed during the inspection and his recommendations were summarized at the beginning of the report (very helpful) and then the report discussed the entire inspection in detail.
