Mark from Planet Plumbing is a great guy who does good work. The job was done as scheduled for the quoted price. The blockage in the line appeared to be concrete or aggregate that had gotten lodged. Despite a bit on the machine braking, a second effort using a tougher bit was successful.

Matthew, We are waiting at the house since you said you would be here today, Friday, December 22nd, between 2:30 and 3:00 pm after cancelling our noon appointment today. Yesterday evening when you tried to clean our drain through the toilet, your snake got stuck and after several attempts, you could not remove it so you decided to cut the snake and leave behind 80 feet of snake in our main drain line. You informed us that you would remove the snake line today by trying various methods: going thru the sewer, utilizing your camera and also going through the roof vent. You made a 12 noon appointment which you then called me to cancel by telling me that your phone was ringing off the hook and that you took other jobs and thus could not make it but then wanted to do nothing until Monday, Christmas Day. I mentioned to you that I could not possibly bother the tenants on the holiday and you offered to come out on Tuesday, December 6th. I asked you that if something were to happen before that what we're we to do and you said to call you and you would be right out but that didn't make sense then why you couldn't come out today to do it. You then informed me that you would be at the house between 230 and 3 pm today. The last I heard from you was at approx. 145 pm when I texted you about coming down and you responded. In the last 55 minutes, I have called you 2x and left you messages and I've also texted you 2x and you have not responded. Your business hours for today say that you are open until 10 pm. We had plans to go away today for the holiday but we had to cancel due to you leaving the 80 feet of snake in our main drain line. We are responsible homeowners and cannot risk a major plumbing problem, I have spoken to plumbers today, when they get beyond the shock of that someone left an 80 foot snake line in my drain, they tell me that your snake in our main drain can cause a host of problems than can result in hundreds to thousands of dollars spent. We hope that you are stuck somewhere and that we will hear from you soon. It is Friday and a holiday weekend and it's almost 5pm. Please come today and remove your snake out of our main drain. You will be financially responsible to reimburse us all money we spend on a plumber to come out this holiday weekend to remove your snake. 5:15pm. UPDATE: Matthew texted me that he is on another job and that the snake he was using there now is also stuck! Update Dec. 22nd 8:15pm Matthew is blaming our drain and now name calling me. He refuses to come and help get his 80 ft snake cable out. UPDATE: 12/23/2017. 9:15 am. Matthew texted me allege3d that he went over to our rental this am without out our permission and went into crawl space and used his camera to scope and saw that our main drain was broken. FUNNY: I had line scoped yesterday and my drain line is not broken plus BONUS tenants were up and have dogs in backyard, did not see him or his car, neither did our neighbors! BUT even more hysterical is that last night we locked with lock and key the gate to backyard and the door to the crawl space and they were still in tact this am...of course we have this on video! DO NOT USE HIM OR THIS BUSINESS!!!

Had a sewer line clogged up on a rental property and had a national chain sewer repair service come out and tell me they hit dirt when cleaning the line. They'd need to get a truck with a camera to come back after the Fourth of July weekend to determine the issue. The tenant would be unable to live in the house for 4 days. I called Drain-Away based on reviews on Angies list. The owner answered and had a plumber onsite within the hour. 45 minutes later he had the sewer line free and clear of the tree roots and the clog cleared. The plumber was very knowledgeable and professional. I'll definitely use them again. Thanks Rex

    Tee Gee Rooter
Destry Schumacher scheduled directly with me and gave prices over the phone to clean out a backed up sewer line.  I asked about camera scoping and that was available, at a more than fair price.
He put down protective materials and took care to keep the area clean.
He easily found the main cleanout access point, showed me what was happening with the camera scope and cleared the main line.  He also put water down the floor drain, and heaps of water down the bathtub drain so everything was cleaned out and clear.
Then he showed me the camera view after all the work was done, with water flowing easily.
Tee Gee Rooters website says they work from Denver west to Boulder and Longmont, and north to Greeley and Fort Collins.  I've worked with other sewer rooters who charged much more and did much less.
I'm so impressed with this company!

Master Blaster Plumbing & Drain LLC
We had purchased a big deal for the service. He didn't want to do the scope at first, because I wasn't the type of customer he was looking for, with his offer.  He wanted to find somebody with something wrong in their plumbing, so he could fix it. I have multiple houses, and I asked him why he couldn't do it, when I had already purchased the big deal. He went ahead and did it, but he wasn't nice and pleasant. I told him that I was looking for someone who can do these for me regularly, and he said he wasn't the person for me, he wanted to charge 150 Dollars for the service. I was looking for someone who can give me a discount for doing so many houses. The price of the big deal was good.

Very honest businessman, pleasant to deal with, took extra care with protecting branches of large tree to prevent damage from equipment,  Cost was definitely  less than  2  large companies who bid on same work.    Provided helpful information.  I will definitely contact Drainaway if I encounter sewer issues in the future and would recommend him to others.

My main line was running slow.  Not backed up completely, but really slow.  I have been dealing with this issue for a few years and could usually take care of it on my own.  Not this day!  My 25' snake did not find anything and two bottle of foaming drain cleaner (used at separate times) didn't either.  My entire house drains were unusable, so I had to call someone, the first place I called did not do the work, but recommended Drain Away.  I looked them up on Angie's List too and called them.  Rex told me he would send someone right over.  James was here in less than 15 minutes!  I told him what I was dealing with and what I had done.  He told me how much it would be and then he got to work.  He was very polite and nice.  He set up to minimize the mess but warned me that we were dealing with moving/spinning equipment and water.  He got to work and the roots were tougher than expected.  It took him a little longer than planned, but he stuck to the original rate.  We talked about them coming back and suggested a yearly maintenance plan.  He was not pushing or in a sales mode.  He cleaned up pretty well, I would give it a B.  However, given that he went over time and stuck with the quote, I can live with it.  I will mostly likely call them in a year to maintain the drain.  i would call them again if I had an issue and would recommend them.

    Power Rooter
Sewer line (to city sewer) plugged and backed up into our basement bathroom.  We discovered on a Thurs afternoon, and tech arrived by 4pm. Worked for an hour or so, and we discovered that they needed a longer rooter to reach the city sewer (just over 110 feet).  Because it was a 6pm, no other tech on duty to bring a longer rooter.  So they came back  the next morning, and quickly got the line cleaned out.  At that time we also discovered the toilet was backed up, and needed to eventually be pulled anyway due to sewer backup.  So they pulled the toilet and cleaned that drain, too.
Quality service, but a "B" on responsiveness because we had to wait another day for another tech.  Price only a "C" because it was a little high (even after some discounts)

At Your Service Plumbing & Rooter
After spending $20k on indoor renovations on the inside of our rental home, the outdoor sewer line collapsed. The house backs up onto a busy street and the roots from a owned tree were the cause of the damage ... Nonetheless the bill is the property owners. I was beside myself! I got the run around from several other companies, then I called At Your Service and talked to the owner - a family owned business, and a businessman with real values. A+++++++++ in every way. Honest, talked me through the problem, told me what he believed would take care of the issue, great price, quick, on time, CALL this company if you ever need plumbing work done.
