    Wouldn't recommend ANYONE to use United Car Care. They don't stand by what they advertise. Their customer Service is offending and rude. Their adjusters are not professional and aren't worried at all about their customers safety when it comes to the vehicles their company claims to cover. BOTTOM LINE: United Car Care warranty services are atrocious. DO NOT purchase United Car Care Warranties. You'll be wasting your money. Buy a quality warranty services else where.

    The service went fine. I was happy with the result and the price was right. They did a good job. They charged me less than they said they were going to. It was $76 and they were supposed to be close to $100. I don���t know why they charged less. I got the quote over the phone and they told me what they were going to charge, maybe it was close to $90. I don���t know. When I went in they said $76, I think that was with tax or something. I was pleased and the job they did was fine. I was having a problem getting a good alignment. There is a new auto store out here in Frederick. I went there because it was much closer to where I live, but they couldn���t do it. I mean they tried 2 or 3 times and said something was wrong with my truck. I said, ���no, the front end was rebuilt���. They said, ���yea we know, it looks like it���s in great shape, but we can���t figure out what���s going on and blah, blah, blah. So, I just took it to Hayes Automotive and they just alignment it and it was fine. I have no complaints about what they did, how they did it and how quickly they did it, so it was all good. It was a good experience. Would I use them again ��� that���s a maybe, because 2 �� years ago a friend of mine went there to get something done on her vehicle and I felt like she was overcharged a bit. So, they were lucky I went with them. It was just I said, ���I will try these guys��� and they did a good job this time and the price was right. On my experience it was an ���A���. I might suggest them to someone else, I���m kind of neutral on it. I might suggest they call them, but I would tell them to make sure they got the price up front and were pretty careful about monitoring that. I kind of know how they do things and I kind of have a feel of what they charge per hour, so I���m going to figure out how many hours they���re going to work on it. If their price is too high then it���s like, ���no���. If they���re comparable to what other people change than I might go with them. I think they���re professional people.

    I was having a problem getting a good alignment. There is a new auto store out here in Frederick. I went there because it was much closer to where I live, but they couldn���t do it. I mean they tried 2 or 3 times and said something was wrong with my truck. I said, ���no, the front end was rebuilt���. They said, ���yea we know, it looks like it���s in great shape, but we can���t figure out what���s going on and blah, blah, blah. So I just took it to another automotive place and they just alignment it and it was fine. Midas had a brand-new machine. I got the vehicle back and went down the road and the tires were squealing terribly. I went to a tire service place and said, ���I���ve had it alignment here before, can you check the alignment?��� They checked it and said, ���man, you���ve got it totally terrible.��� So, I took it back to Midas and they tried. I dropped it off there all day long. They said they couldn���t make it work right, they didn���t understand what was going on, they speculated what it could be, blah, blah, blah. They couldn���t figure it out. So, I went the other automotive place and didn���t have any issues at all. I went back and told Midas, because they said, ���come back and tell me what you found.��� I said, ���I think you have a machine problem. I said, ���I think your machine is out of calibrate or something.��� He said, ���yea, I think we do too.��� That���s all he would say. They gave my money back, so no complaints there. I don���t like giving people really bad grades on this, but they tried. I give them a ���C��� for effort, they put a lot of effort into it. They serviced it within a reasonable amount of time, when they said they would. I wasn���t real happy with them. One employee was really good and one was bennie. I haven���t had them do anything else. I���m sure they���re good at a lot of stuff and I think it was the function of their brand-new machine. It was not calibrated properly or it wasn���t being operated properly. I don���t know which one it was, it had an issue. A $3,000 machine, but it wasn���t doing its job.

    Well, Friday comes and goes. A week after that, I call the shop and get John Russell, the manager. He tells me they cannot replace it because my receipt isn't in their system. So I scan the receipt and email it to him. A couple more days go by, and I get a terse email saying to call them, that he has tried to call "several times". I was receiving calls from other people just fine and had no voicemails, but whatever. I call him and he wants me to pay for labor to have the shop install it. When I wouldn't go for that, he says his boss won't let him do the exchange. Next I called his boss, Perry Kline, and again explain about the failed strut, how KYB says to take it back where you got it for an exchange, etc. He says he will "talk to the KYB rep" and get back to me the next day. Well, you guessed it, I gave him an extra day, and nothing. No "yes", no "no", no nothing. I used this shop for years and had services ranging from suspension work to A/C work performed there. Yes, they absolutely did push hard to sell extra services, and I put up with that. Now that they won't honor their own and KYB's warranty, I am so very done.

    went great. everyone was very helpful and courteous,from the front office to the mechanics. they always kept me informed from beginning to the end. I took a chance of traveling 30 mins to try mr transmission , and it was well worth it!

    I have been going to Demer's Auto Service for over 10 years. Marv and his team has always been honest, fair and quality of their work has always been done right the first time. I never had to take the car back and ask Demer's to do the work over . Marv always told me in detail what work needs to be done and what work could wait. Marv always gave me the choice to approve the work that I felt needed to be done. The work I approved Marv to do was done in a professional manner and done prior to the time he had quoted to me when we first talked.

    Mechanically, it seems good so far. However, when I picked it up, I walked out of the building and saw a new dent in the side. Something had been been run into the car, it wan't a door ding. They took no responsibility, just pointed out there were other dings on the car. I know my car, and I know it wasn't there before. I couldn't have missed one like this. A sharp impact.

    So, if you take a car for service, walk the exterior with someone from service. Note all existing dings, etc. Make sure they are marking them on a body chart. Walk the car when you pick it up and look for anything new. Then you may have a chance of them taking responsibility when they damage your car.

    I do like the people at the dealership. Just hate things like this.

    Because the dash had to be removed to access and repair a problem, it took most of the day.  I have a good-neighbor that offered to provide a backup ride but Valley Subaru does have a shuttle service available.

    The quality of the work was above/beyond my expectation, so really I have to post a review.  An auto shop that takes the time and effort to *reprogram* your radio stations after major electrical work is definitely taking care of the details!  They also noted future service/repairs -- most shops will -- but showed me a couple that I could easily and *cheaply* do myself.  Another reason I have to post an A+ review.

    Finding an auto shop you can trust is tougher than a Colorado 14-er -- I trust these guys.

      I requested diagnosis and repair of my vehicle.  I agreed up front to pay $150 for the diagnosis.  Before they looked at it I was subjected to a sales pitch about a $2500 fuel injection system. A couple days later, I was told "you can't find anyone to work on a
    Quadrajet carburetor. Now how about that $2500 fuel injection system."  A couple days later, "This carburetor can't be rebuilt, it's damaged"  Just for the record, there are dozens of places that repair or re-build Quadrajet carburetors.  This was worse than worthless, I had to replace a part for my carburetor that they kept, when I put it back together.

      I repaired the vehicle myself, with the "un-fixable" Quadrajet carburetor.  As I was waiting in the parking lot for the tow truck to come get my vehicle, I found a socket and extension under the hood.  Wanting to be entirely honest in this situation, I returned it to "Neal" behind the counter.  He took it and said "it's "Ed's."  "Jim" took it and said "it's mine now".
