    L & S Sprinklers
Terrible. They set two appointments, didn't show up or call. Requested that a real person call me, never did. When Lance owned the company if was great. Not any more. Lance referred me to Scott at Lone Wolf. He's scheduled for next week. Here's hoping.

    Home Depot
I like Home Depot because they let me bring my dog into the store. They are very nice to my dog. Many times when I've been there I've asked questions and there have always been people there. I can usually always find somebody that can answer my questions.

    LOWE'S
I went in to Lowes to purchase a carpet which I had purchased last year for a room. It is an in stock carpet and advertised as a 72 hour install. My first step was on Tuesday the 26th of November, I went in and paid for and ordered measurements. On Monday 12/2/13 a representative called and I went directly over and purchased the carpet. This should be installed by Thursday. On Wednesday late afternoon, nearly 5 PM, I called the store to inform them I have yet to hear from the installer. One hour later the installer calls and informs me he will be out on the 18th. I have called the store everyday, since. On Friday and Saturday I spoke with managers. Still nothing. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks of my trying to get 72 hour carpet installed. If something changes and Lowes makes this right...I will update but it the fact remains they have not honored the advertisement and made life stressful. AND apparently the representative decided to add to the notes that anytime before Christmas would be ok.  Without my consent!

    Big Tool Box
This is a privately owned general hardware store associated with Ace. The staff never changes. They must be happy campers. The staff all know the layout of the stor, and they always try to help the customers. The customer can go into the store and tell the staff member about their project, and they can tell them what they need, and will take the customer whe parts are, and one can leave the store with the parts and pieces for the project. This is not a "big box" place. It's much like a small neighborhood store that people of a certain age remember. Go there.

    Big Tool Box
I called all over town trying to find decking stain that would match my existing decking stain on a house I was trying to sell.  I had stained several times in the past, and did not want to completely strip and start over, and I had about 30% new boards on my deck and so a light/natural finish would not have looked quite right any way.
After calling everyplace on this side of town I gave up and called the Big Tool Box (near my new house, but about an hour from my old house).  They had the exact stain I was looking for, and were willing to do a color match.
Big Tool Box did the match quickly:  he said it might be 4+ hours, but I had the stain by 11:00 the morning I dropped off the sample.  The salesman was very helpful providing tips on how to prepare the surface and things to watch out for.
I've been back since and it never fails to amaze me that such a little store (big for an Ace, small compared to say Home Depot)  has such a good selection of things compared to the big mega hardware stores.

I am there all the time, and I love everything about it.  They are friendly, helpful, and the whole experience is always good.  They have things other places don't have. They are always ready and willing to help you out when you need them. Their service department is excellent, it's a great place, and I have recommended them to others.

    Home Depot
The Home Depot has just about anything that is needed for home improvements. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful about the products stocked, and will special-order items that are not normally stocked on their shelves. I shop at other home improvement stores, but Home Depot is a favorite, since they have such a wide assortment of products and provide knowledgeable assistance in finding just what I need.

    Home Depot - Lone Tree
AFTER THREE TRIPS TO THE STORE AND THE MANAGERS HELP, THE BLIND WAS FINALLY CUT TO THE CORRECT SIZE. THE PERSON HELPING ME EXPLAINED HOW TO INSTALL THE BLIND INCORRECTLY. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

    HOME DEPOT
OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS MIXED BECAUSE HOME DEPOT DISCONTINUED THE LINE OF PERGO FLOORING WE PURCHASED BEFORE WE COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION. AS A RESULT, WE HAD TO MIX AND MATCH FLOORING TO FINISH THE PROJECT.
