    Cliff Stuart Interior Painting
Cliff is the best painter I've ever hired - and I've hired a quite a few. He shows up ON TIME. He finishes ON TIME. And he does GREAT WORK. If you want a truly professional paint job, hire Cliff. I'm already lining up more projects for him for later this year.

    Houdini's Drywall Magic
Michael and his team came in and really helped us out. Houdini's Drywall Magic removed ALL of the damaged drywall, checked rough walls for any pipe and wire damage, in some cases re-framed portions of ceilings and walls, built out uneven areas, turned basic walkways into beautiful arches, hung new drywall that passed the first inspection, and finished out the job with tape/mud//texture and even primed and painted. The amount of work that was done by Michael and his team was incredible and there are now aspects of our home that we only thought would happen in a dream (like the AMAZING arches). Since the completion of the drywall work, we have had contractor friends in our house and they ask for Houdini's number because they can tell just how great and unique the work is. The photos attached are before and after photos of some of the areas in our home (including what the first failed drywaller left us with). The cost of the project was high, but was worth every penny, and I honestly do not think we could have had anywhere near the same quality of work done by anyone else for that price.

    CertaPro Painters of Castle Rock
Our overall experience with CertaPro of Douglas County was exceptional.

The quality of the work was superior. Kevin and his team made sure that we were satisfied before they left. They did a walk-through with us to make sure there were no areas they missed and touched up any areas we wanted touched up. It was almost impossible to find anything that needed touching up. The crew was always on time and took meticulous care of the furniture, floor, and woodwork to ensure paint did not get on it. They cleaned up after themselves and never left any type of mess. Kevin was very helpful and provided a person to assist with color selection. Everyone at CertaPro--Kevin, the paint crew, and office staff were pleasant to deal with and very professional.

My rating on price is based on the fact I did not get other quotes so I don't know how they compare to other companies. I assume their price is competitive. We hired CertaPro based on the feedback on Angie's list and were not disappointed.

CertaPro is a top notch company. They are honest, professional, and focused on quality and customer satisfaction. I could not be happier. You cannot go wrong with CertaPro of Douglas County.

    Russ Launer Painting
EXCELLENT! All work was performed by Russ, NO subs or helpers. Very attentive to details. He worked well with our schedule (we work out of our home) All painting was hand brush or roller; no spray. Highly recommend! We will use his service for all future painting needs.

    Lawver Construction Inc.
They quoted a job for indoor remodeling. My dad is 81 6ft tall.  My son is severely autistic and unbalanced. We had a spiral staircase in our guest house. They were suppose to remove the rickety spiral staircase which was not safe for my dad or son.  They were to build a new staircase.  Instead of doing it correctly, they left the clearance 5'4"???? Code is 6'8" and they left it 5'4"??? They used redwood for an interior staircase.  It splinters, has huge gouges and looks like decking???? There are nail holes left all over, unlevel stairs, outlets covered, venting not re-routed simply COVERED??? This is like a 4 year old child completed it.  When we brought it to his attention, he first refused, then after 2 weeks, he came to "fix" it but instead now will not answer calls.  We are employing an attorney and will bring charges as my parents and son can't even use the room safely!  Lawver Construction should NOT be referred to others for interior work. I should have realized all his work was outside decks etc.  This is by far the worst thing we've ever seen!! He has been paid in full and now will not correct his mistakes, the man is a criminal!

They called 1 hour before scheduled appointment time to come out and quote job. Asked questions about details during phone call about the job before informing me they were "double booked" for appointment time. I got the feeling they wanted to know how big the job was before they decided to cancel my appointment and take another job.  Why would the details of my job matter if the caller knew there was a conflict of scheduling ahead of time?

    A Brush with Success Inc
The guys showed up right on time and were very nice and pleasant. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. We live a ways out of town and they didn't have a problem coming out here, which we really appreciated!

    Sun Drywall & Painting Inc
Sun Dry Wall replaced my entire basement ceiling due to an accident caused from another company who came to install a Dishwasher. I cannot say enough amazing things about Oscar and his crew. Perfectionists, kind, diligent and I think there was less dust when they left than when they started.
Their commitment to the details was particularly impressive. I honestly was expecting a mess and what I got was what you dream of - being able to walk downstairs and have it look like new without a trace of the old.
Oscar was easy to work with.
    I trust this company.

This is possibly the most frustrating report I've given Angie's List. Michael came out and gave a bid to paint a house we just purchased but haven't moved into yet. He was courteous and had the best price. He did ask if he could stay at the house a few nights, since it was a way from his house. This wasn't a problem for us, and we decided to hire him. Michael is an EXCELLENT painter. I was very happy with the painting, and I am basically happy with the way the house looks after he finished painting. My husband is not impressed with the prep work that was done after he had discussed it with Michael. Walls were not prepped as they discussed and there are places on the sunroom windows that were not even painted at all. I went over to the house after he let me know he was finished. He was in the process of cleaning up, and I had to get to a meeting. I wrote him his check, and left, thinking he would clean up after himself. At this point I was very happy we had found a painter. I had even asked him to give me bids for our bedrooms because I was so happy with the painting. I have spent hours today over at our house cleaning up after Michael. Apparently he left immediately after receiving the check! I have been scraping paint off our hardwood floors, trying to scour out the sink, which was covered in our paint, taking tape off and scraping paint off the baseboard heaters, and putting all the plug and switch covers back on the walls. In the process of cleaning up I did notice a few places that were not covered well. What should have been a top notch report was completely changed because of the detail of the prep and the cleanup. Unfortunatelly we will not be able to have him back. If you can be there and confirm the prep work and make sure he cleans up afterward, he really knows how to actually paint. Updated: Upon being in the house more after Michael painted, it has become apparent that he did not do the two coats he promised, as there are many areas where the original white shows through. There were also several places he missed entirely.
