I was a new patient, it was an emergengy (the toothache hurt like heck), and all the interaction with Dr. Jones went OK.  My cheek was beginning to swell and she informed me my tooth would probably have to be extracted  She gave me a prescription for Percoset (for pain)  and sent me back to the front desk to make an appointment.  The next appointment was for TWO WEEKS later.  I said that I was in great pain, but they assured me the Percoset would carry me over for the next two weeks.
After a few excruciating days, I called back and was told that a cancellation created an opening only ONE week away, so I took it.  I didn't realize I had a raging infection.  It spread into my jaw and cheek and the floor of my mouth.  I had a high fever. I seemed less able to make any rational decisions as everything was fogged by the pain and infection.  They called to confirm my upcoming appointment and I told them, not jokingly, that I might not live until the next day. (I'm being overly dramatic, but that's how I felt).  I had no appetite (lost 10 pounds in one week), and no mental or physical energy to move.
The morning of my appointment, my wife found me passed out on the bathroom floor.  I had emergency dental surgery that morning (obviously with another provider) and I am on the road to recovery.  Of course part of the blame is mine for not just going to the other provider in the first place, but my thoughts were fogged by my condition.
The Dr. who did the surgery said that a spreading infection without an antibiotic is dangerous and could be ultimately life-threatening.
When I called after all this had happened, the receptionist/scheduler was very unsympathetic.  She said, "We only have two dentists and only so many time slots.  And everyone's referring their Medicaid patients to us and you have to wait."

I've been going to him for years. He has a great bedside manner. His staff does a great job cleaning my teeth. They are very thorough. The quality is great. I really like the way he deals with people. His staff is great and very accommodating.  They really work with me if I have to change an appointment or make an appointment. The dental hygienist I use is really good. She is very thorough and looks out for my dental care. She gives me suggestions on what to do and the best approach for my teeth. He doesn't try to make money for himself. He is very conservative in his approach. He looks for alternatives rather than doing the most expensive thing. He will work with me if there is a way to work around something. He has no problem referring me to specialists when he doesn't have the expertise in a particular area. I've been pleased with him and have gone to him for a number of years. I would go to him and pay out of pocket instead of going to some of the dentists on my dental plan just because I trust him and I like the quality of his work and his staff's work. He compares pricewise to everyone else. He is a great dentist.

I can only suggest - DO - go to this provider. It is a husband and wife team with a fabulous support staff.  I need to see a periodontist, the recommendation they gave me has been excellent. The gal at the front desk is very efficient and organized. Makes your next appointment, checks my insurance, all in a friendly manner, she does all the thinking for you.
The office is easy to get to right off of I-25, attractive and very clean and also next to a grocery store, so you can run that errand at same time if necessary, which is a nice bonus if you are busy.  One time I chipped a tooth and needed to be seen without a scheduled appointment, they took me right away. They acted happy to see me, it wasn't a problem for them at all to fit me in, or at least that is how they made me feel.
After relocating from another state I was apprehensvie about a new dentist, my former dentist was the best I could find, or so I thought. When I started going to this office all my apprehensions vanished, I feel so confident in their professional ability, clean office, friendly manner. Without a doubt I would recommend them without any reservations.
I do not have any comments in the "Don't" category, and I am a fussy person.
