Rheumatology reviews in Lakewood

    Denver Arthritis Clinic
I have been a patient of Dr. Glassman at Denver Arthritis for many years.  They worked me in even though I didn't have an appointment.  Wait time was less than 5 minutes.  He injected my bursa on both sides.  Very gentle.  Always great care.

It didn't go well.  I explained that my appointment was with Dr. Srock,  because she knows my history and is my rheumatologist, and she was the one who has been seeing me in the past, except for my first visit to the office, when I was seen by Dr. Gorman.  He told me instead that I had been scheduled to see him.  I explained that my appointment was to be with Dr. Srock, so he left.  Soon, the office girl came in an told me Dr. Srock couldn't see me because her schedule was full.  I asked how that can be, when I received confirmation by phone from the office that my appointment was with Dr. Srock.  She told me their computer signed me up for Dr. Gorman because he was the one who initially saw me.  No one ever communicated to me that as a patient I would get bounced around between doctors at that particular office.  That was the final frustration with me there.  In the past, when I needed a refill on a prescription, their phone message said to have the pharmacist call in for it.  So my pharmacy called, but never received a response from them.  Then I called four days later, and left a message about what I needed, as I was told to do by their message line.   No response after 3 days.  Finally, I called and demanded to talk to the doctor, but got the office help, and I demanded an explanation for lack of response, but never got one.  Instead, I finally got the prescription refilled.  It was such a frustrating ordeal to get a refill.  Before that, Dr. Srock had asked me to get some bone scan records sent to her, and told me she would call me right away with her advice after she received them, so I got the records right away, and sent them to her, but she never did call me back about them.  I left a message, but no response.  It's impossible to talk with the doctor directly. I just can't deal with such office inefficiency anymore, and so am going to find another rheumatologist.  When I saw Dr. Srock in the past, I thought she was caring and thorough, and was happy with her care, but I think the office is poorly run and possibly the doctors aren't even aware of what is going on with their patients regardingtheir nurse assistants and those who run the front office.
