    Senior Helpers
John, Rachel & their team strive to help your folks as much as is possible! They are honest, kind, and employ people that are as well. This is the 2nd set of Home Health Care we have utilized as the first group that we worked with were all but a disaster and completely non-trustworthy. I am grateful for the folks at Senior Helpers

They had a sliding scale. So what they did is they came in and augmented the family. I have had some of my clients who have used their services, and they recommend them. They still have pretty much the same experience. I have referred them probably two times and none of the people I referred had any problems with them. My grandmother at that point was living with my dad, she actually came out and raised us. My mom passed away when I was about six and a half, and my grandmother raised us five kids. I think that is a very hard situation, very difficult to work with, but they did a great job. When I have clients or individuals that need any such service, I generally recommend them.

Home Instead Senior Care - Sarasota
The owner was very thorough in his interview, questions, and evaluations.
His compassion, care, patience, and commitment were evident.
He strictly and conscientiously adhered to the Franchise's national guidelines re his employees' levels of training and thus their varied qualifications.
His heart was definitely in his work; this showed and was self-evident!

    Hospice of St John
They gave my husband excellent care.  I'm also working with them for grief care, they offer it as a follow up for no charge.  It's a wonderful facility, I've never heard anything negative about them at all.  I lived there with my husband for 5 months even though I was working.  They took care of me just as well as my husband.  My husband was primary because he was the patient but they also made sure I was doing okay.  The staff was friendly and whenever I go there I visited them and they were very concerned about he well being of my husband, myself and my family.

    PASCO
Pasco is a very good agency to work with!  They hire great people and they stay for years, not much turn over at all.  Pasco provides services for my disabled adult daughter that keeps her in our home and out of a nursing home. The caregivers are kind and the supervising nurse is one tough cookie!  I know she is looking out for my daughter and I appreciate that so much!!We have been with Pasco for coming on 5 years and looking forward to many more years.

    Caring In Home Help
We were very pleased with the work that Kay did and the love that she provided to our aunt.  Kay is an open-hearted, kind, accommodating and very responsible person who see's what needs to be done and does it.

Kay cooks with fresh healthy ingredients and makes food that her clients will enjoy.   She asked our aunt what dishes she enjoyed most and cooked those dishes for her.  She made her fresh hot coffee (our aunt had been drinking instant coffee.)  Largely due to Kay's cooking, our aunt gained weight in the last two months of her life.

Kay would bring large format picture books and magazines from the library and read from them to our aunt.  They had mind-stimulating conversations using this approach.

Kay was always cheerful and engaging in her approach.  She is dedicated, honest and honorable.  She's sharp and works well with the elderly.  She became part of our family.

While we were on our second trip back East, our aunt began to die.  On her own initiative, Kay coordinated a work schedule with our other caregiver to make sure one of them was always at our aunt's house 24 hours a day until we could get home.  She worked closely with the Hospice company to make sure that items like bed sheets for the hospital bed they brought in and other necessities were available.

I have used their services for at least 10 years and they help me when there is anything wrong with my wheel chair. They bring in the stuff right away and they don't delay especially when there is a problem with your power chair. They fought for me with Medicare and my health care provider. They provided me whatever I needed for my power chair. My health care provider wasn't approving enough stuff. They have also gone the extra mile in finding an outside doctor who would help me in writing the correct Medicare forms. They didn't charge me anything during my last visit. I will use their services in the future too. I paid $16000 for my last wheel chair and Medicare covered about half of the amount for me. I felt that it was an average price, as you can pay up to $50000 for a chair. I have never ever seen a chair for less than $6000 and that's not even a good one. You can get scooters for less, but you can't get power chairs for less than that. So, I feel that it's ridiculous. I have to pay what they charge me since it's a necessity for me. My wheel chair is designed in such a way that my back doesn't hurt and that's why it's expensive. I can also change my position on the chair and that was something my health provider wasn't willing to authorize. So, I ended up paying extra to go to a private neurologist. I can now reach the shelves in a store because of my chair and it's raised too. However, they do everything that is related to your chair for free once you buy the chair from them. They are a little pricey and you can get the chair for a cheaper rate online, but you can't get service online.
