AMasterpiece Roofing, Painting & WindowsI can’t say how impressed I was with Masterpiece. They replaced my roof last summer and it still looks brand new! My roof needed replacing, and as usual, my insurance denied payment for my roof. Thank goodness Rex and his team were amazing advocates for me against my insurance company. Not only did my roof get replaced, I got new gutters, siding, painting and a few new screens. I only had to pay my deductible. I’m about ready to put my house on the market within the next year and had I not had my roof replaced, I’d be paying around $35,000 out of pocket for a new roof. He did an excellent job cleaning our gutters and took pictures of everything to show us. The icing on the cake was that he actually charged LESS than his original bid because the gutters were not as clogged as we thought they would be. FAfter re-scheduling our initial meeting via text msg, Bryan agreed to to give us a bid &, if we agreed upon the cost, start the work on the same day. Upon arriving he gave another excuse for not being able to start the work same day. Instead, he rescheduled the work for Saturday & subsequently rescheduled the work again for the following Monday at 9 A.M.. He was a no-show & didn't even bother to call to explain. In a word, Bryan was completely unreliable.

AThe project went very well. When dealing with anyone for a project, you need to make certain that there is a clear understanding of what work needs to be done. While a good proposal and estimate was given to me for the work, I found that my definition of a specific type of work to be done (i.e. with French drains), was not the same as that of the company. This was my fault, since I should have better understood what exactly was going to be done. Also, if the gutters have not been cleaned and maintained in a while (out of site, out of mind), as mine were, be prepared for some extensive and expensive work to be done. My take-away lesson from this project is that I will have my gutters cleaned and checked more often, probably in the Fall. Otherwise getting this type of work done is expensive. And if water is falling near your foundation, it can quickly get very expensive. Vito was responsive, though sometimes a bit hard to reach, and the crew he sent was punctual and appear to have done a very good job. (I can't climb up on the roof to personally check the work at my age.) I would recommend Gutter Maintenance Pro, and I plan to use them again in the future to check my gutters on a yearly basis with the right cost considerations.
