    Sooner Appliance Repair Inc
    I contacted "Sooner", on Monday Morning, 2-25-19. No call back. I pursued Xcel "Home Serve" on Tuesday, 2-26, via Angie's List. I completed a "work order", on line. No call back. I called "Home Smart" on Wednesday, 2-27. A work order was sent to "Sooner" @ 1:15p.m. I did not receive a call. "Sooner" is apparently the only company that works in my Zip code area, per "Home Serve". Sooner" did not comply to any of the elements described in the "Business Description". In conclusion, the two resources I found on Angie's list, failed miserably. I won't be renewing my subscription.

    Gentleman called and set up a time to come and look at the dryer, he was hours late. When he arrived he did not look like a repair man, he did take the dryer apart and find the problem. However he did not have the part, I had to go and find the replacement part the next day. The next day he sent a text asking if I found the part and when could come back i said around 330 he said great. We had text message through the afternoon, stating he would be there no problem. Hours went by and he never showed up at around 7pm I finally told him forget I���ll find someone eles.

    Scheduling logistics went well. I was not able to fully demonstrate issue when arrived (it was intermittent). Paul quickly and efficiently disassembled the dryer. Showed which parts were defective and was able to demonstrate how they were defective. Completed service efficiently at expected price.

    Kevin came out to the house as arranged. He was not finding the issue and decided to check the electrical. One of the legs of our 220 outlet was not working and so the unit could not heat up. He found the breaker and it was partially off. He reset it, and the dryer heated up. He also noted that the venting was in dire need of cleaning and that we needed to take care of that right away.

    This is the third time we have used Tubby's for appliance repair. Paul & Co. provided very good service and we would recommend them unconditionally. They have also worked on a washer and a refrigerator within the last 5 years. What makes this last time unique is the initial service call did not fix the problem. But true to Paul's word that if the problem resurfaces he will come back cost free. And that is just what he did, he came back later that week and stayed another 1-1/2 hours until it was fixed with no extra charge.

    I called and was able to make an appointment for the next day. I gave the model information for my refrigerator and exactly what the problem was. I was given a 12-5 window for arrival the next day. I called at 4pm the next day to check, and was told the technician was running behind, and would call me if he'd arrive after 5. I got a call closer to 5:45 - the technician wanted to know if I wanted to have him come that night or reschedule. I asked and he said he didn't know anything other than something was wrong with my water dispenser - he didn't have model, and so didn't have the parts he'd need to replace or repair the pump on his truck. I asked him to check and call back to reschedule after he confirmed he had the necessary part(s). Four days later, and I've not heard anything back from them. I'll go with someone else now...

    Arrived 2 hours after window time. Evaluated problem but was not able to effect repairs because shop was closed for the day. If they would have arrived on time they would have been able to effect repairs. Checked on line to see what price for part should be and saw that they wanted to charge over 200% mark up. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

    Paul was fantastic! My husband had tried to fix the dryer himself, so Paul was extremely patient getting the dryer back in order for him to take a look at. We needed a new control panel and Paul not only did some research for me, and knowing that my husband had already tried to fix it, he walked me through the steps so that when we got the piece in the mail, my husband could properly install it, not at all trying to convince me that he needed to come back to do it which I appreciated! We ordered the piece and now our dryer is completely fixed! Will most definitely use Tubby's again!

    It didn't take him long to figure out the problem and show me what to do if it ever recurs. And he charged me only for the cost of the service call. He was very pleasant to work with and I will definitely call him again when I need help with appliance repairs.

    I have a warranty program with Sears for all of my appliances. There was no cost for the freezer repair because it was part of the warranty that I pay. I pay $100 every time they come out to do something, but if they can't fix it, they replace it. The quality of the service was excellent and their professionalism was good; it was A.
