    Paramount Remodeling Company Inc
Ryan from Paramount Remodeling came to my condo to go over my project ideas, offer helpful suggestions and give me an idea of the cost. Since I do not have designing skills, he referred me to a professional designer who helped me pick out materials and a personalized color scheme from the Paramount showroom. They used high quality materials and excellent workmanship to turn my sad 1980's kitchen and bath into something absolutely beautiful and modern. It has changed my life!

    integrity water and sewer
The Integrity Water and Sewer team, jumped into action. They dug along the foundation, avoided gas lines and sprinkler system lines, and only removed the bushes that we talked about. The entire crew was friendly, curious and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to hire them again if I need a plumber.

Precision Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric
Justin and Damon took on a nearly impossible job, my water heater is located in a tiny closet in my bedroom. Trying to get in was almost impossible there was such a small enclosure that the new water heater wouldnt fit, the wall had to be expanded to get it. These two gentlemen worked miracles to get this water heater in. Besides the extremely confined space the old water heater I had was not to code for the trailer that I live in. They brought in a water heater that would meet the code for the my home. So everything had to be converted back to the correct away from the wrong way it was a nightmare for them. I thank them sincerely for the job they did they were always professional I would hire them again in a heartbeat Thank you gentlemen for doing a great job.

    Wade The Handyman
I've listed the projects that Wade completed in my home to emphasize the depth of his abilities. He gave my home a complete face lift and I couldn't be happier. The quality of his work is outstanding! I have received so many compliments on the work that Wade completed. There seemed to be nothing he couldn't tackle. His work ethic is another of his great strengths. He always let me know if he was going to be late or unable to come - which was very rare. I knew I could trust that he would do high quality work with integrity and a very upbeat disposition.

PROS: The drain was fixed very well, so I give him good scores on that. Since he had spent much time, he included checking the tub faucet in the price. Good scores there too. CONS: Having only lived here a very short period of time, he should've seen things that I didn't. Within a week after he left I realized that the tub spout isn't installed correctly; this should have been obvious to a professional. Now I have to have another plumber come and/or do it myself. I don't think he noticed because he didn't do a very good job of inspection. $150 is not very much money I suppose but it seems like a lot to fix a leaking drain. He said he fixed the water pressure by adjusting the scald guard; but having taken the faucet off myself, I found that it was not adjusted as far as he said. I should note that there are no children in this home. Just a mature adult who does not need a scald guard. After his "repair" I will give him credit for at least some improvement; instead of tepid water, I had warm water. Realizing that this was a fairly easy thing to do, I took it apart and adjusted it myself. Now can get to "hot water"!!! Still, the tub is not the biggest reason for the low scores. All of my plumbing is very visible from a large crawlspace. While he was down there, I asked about getting an icemaker hooked up to my refrigerator. He didn't tell me that there was already a water line in the crawlspace! Instead he talked about the necessity of running a line up into the wall and into a recessed box so that it was always available to turn off, if necessary. He asked if I wanted a written estimate. I declined, since he had made it clear that it will take at least an hour. That would be another service call and $150 that I didn't have. If he had told me that there was already a line run and all I had to do was put some new tubing through the floor, that would have gotten him great scores.

    Sunshine Plumbing Heating Air
This went much better than expected. The faucet only had to be tightened, which I pondered doing myself. However, I am not the most handy homeowner, and I tend to break things. Instead of risking a broken faucet and/or pipe and potentially flooding my backyard and basement, I decided to purchase a faucet replacement. Jeff L came out, checked the faucet, and determined it only needed to be tightened. My front faucet had the same problem but to a lesser degree, so he tightened that one as well. Problem solved, quick and easy, and I now know how to fix it myself should this occur again. Thanks, Jeff and Sunshine!

The second job was a 15 minute fix to cut and weld a new pipe section. It cost $450 for the trip charge and 15 minutes of work. I consider that cost outrageous and I have taken them off my list to call with plumbing problems. Cost trumps any of the other factors and there are other plumbing companies to choose from.

    Around the Clog
It went horribly! The sink was installed okay, but when turning the water back on the plumber (who was clearly inexperienced) ended up causing the pipe below to burst and flooded all of the water from the house into the basement. Needless to say, we hired a plumber so something like this wouldn't happen! We still had a leak and had to fix it ourselves the next day. The most disappointing thing is that we never heard back from the company with an apology or anything. They just emailed me an invoice for the full amount due. I tried to email them to see if they could give us a discount or even acknowledge that things went terribly wrong and they never even had the decency to write or call me back. Very disappointed. Will not use again.

The person scheduling was friendly and professional.  She kept me posted on when the plumber would arrive.  The plumber was on time, covered his shoes and was also friendly and professional.  He quickly fixed my list of plumbing issues while explaining everything he needed to do. Although he didn't need to turn off the water to the house he tracked down my mainline for me as I did not know where it was.
He felt that my issues were small and didn't take much time so his price was extremely reasonable. I have already recommended him to a friend and will continue to do so.

Tim of O'Connor Plumbing replace my old hot water heater with a new Bradford White unit. His work was neat, his manner professional, and he took time to teach about why the old heater had failed and told me his installation would prevent it from happening again. When finished, he cleaned up the work debris. His price was the best of the eight plumbers I called.I would strongly recommend him again.
