    Coopers Automotive
They were amazing. There was a glitch in the messaging service and they didn't have my appointment on their books. They still made time for me and were so thorough. I felt very well taken care of and confident in the service they provided. I was treated like family.

Auto Transport - United Freight Of America
I shopped around a lot for this as long distance automotive moving appears to be a somewhat shady business, but not with United Auto Freight. Guy took care of me and answered all my questions along the way. Pickup and drop off of the vehicle was without difficulty and I always had contact numbers for the drivers.

I scheduled a same day appointment on their website at 8:30 AM. Around 10:45 AM, the technician was at my office repairing my window. The whole process from meeting the technician to signing the credit card slip took about half an hour. He also cleaned my windshield and vacuumed the front area. Quick, easy, and painless.

They did an okay job. They were overpriced I thought. They also recommended that I rebuild my transmission. I took it somewhere else and all that needed was two seals. The head gasket also still leaks. I took the truck back once to try and get the gasket fixed. They did offer a shuttle service which was nice and good customer service. I will not be going back there.

Go Subaru is now Autonation Subaru Arapahoe (Centennial Colorado, not Golden).
I describe here only details of what transpired the day of sale.  My A ratings above are for the purchase as a whole including price quotations obtained before the sale...
Selling starts with a demand for credit report type information, including social security number for OFAC, the Office of Foreign Assets Control.  Salesman says if you can't fly you can't buy a car either.  From the OFAC website:  "terrorists, international narcotics traffickers,"
They wanted insurance information which might or might not have actually been needed since I was paying cash.  Because I paid "cash" (i.e. with a check in full), no title fee was charged.
    They wanted 2 telephone numbers.
Individual salesmen have a good deal of discretion on discounting subject to an absolute floor set by the dealership.
Wanted a guess on how much I drive and how often I buy cars.  Finance lady gave the sales pitch for extended warranties and such, possibly based on the useage guesses I gave.
Dealer handling fee mandatory but they adjust the vehicle price down as required to get the desired total.
Took a personal check which they scanned then presented me with an agreement to pay $25 if it bounces.  The paper check was returned to me.
The back of the "retail purchase agreement" has lots of complicating clauses relating to financing and trade-ins.
Subaru will robocall me regarding maintenance.
Mandatory arbitration and "vehicle care program" which cost one dollar.
Dealers attempt to swap cars that are identical except for color without also transferring cash.  Because mine came from another dealer, they presented me with a "3-day/150 mile money-back guarantee waiver."

    Man Cave Detail
The Man Cave recently opened this new location off 92nd and Wadsworth (Angie's List should add it, by the way!). I think once they settle in, the scheduling should be just fine But we did have a miscommunication and I had to make an extra trip. Mike was kind enough to waive the fee for giving me a ride back, so it's all good.
They were all very polite and professional, and the detailers did a great job. I wish them the best in their expansion up north, and would recommend them to friends and other Angie's List members.

the staff is helpful, but sometimes failed to let us know when the work was done.
Price is average, but not a bargain.  They seem fairly knowledgable, but sometimes had difficulty diagnosing a problem.
I would rate the work only fair, and the service fair.

Stans technicians are knowledgable, and they are willing to let you know if you should go somewhere else.
They have been honest and get work done on time.
    Good communication also.

My brakes were making noise. I knew I needed to have them checked though I was dreading it because I was fearing it would end up being around a $500 job. But, I took my car to Louisville Tire because of great reviews on Angie's List. I wasn't diappointed. They told me my rear brakes were about 90% worn out and they needed replacement immediately. The front ones could wait as they were "only" 70% worn out. It ended up costing about $170 which was much less than I was expecting. It only took about an hour and I was on my way. Very fast and professional! Highly recommended!

This was the 90,000 mile service for my car.  They checked everything and made a list of items that needed to be done.  This included a brake job, new plugs and wires, and transmission flush.  They suggested the brake pads needed to be replaced right away but the plugs and wires and transmission flush could wait until the next service, to break up the expense, or they could do everything at once, my choice.  They did what I asked, for the quoted price, and had the car done after work, when they said they would.
Previously, I had a transmission oil pan that was bent from hitting something in the road.  They quoted me two different prices and timelines: one if they could fix it by replacing the gasket, and one if they had to replace the pan after special ordering it.  They were able to fix the leak by replacing the gasket.
I haven't compared their rates to those of other shops.
I am always impressed by the professional attitude at this shop.  They are good about communicating the problem, the work they will do, and the price before starting work.  I can and do recommend them.
