    The project went smoothly. I am so pleased to have hired DC Movers. The Company worked with me on the time and date and they kept in contact so I would know what day and time I could expect them. The movers were there a little early, which was no problem at all, they wrapped and loaded my piano within approximately 20 minutes of their arrival. The same was true when they reached my daughter's house. I am very very pleased with the entire experience due to DC Movers' staff and crew.

    Incredibly responsive--completed work in 1 day from date of request. It was a small job and J.R. fit in-between larger ones. The work involved machining the details of 2 solid birch cabinet doors (finger grip recess, decorative outer features, hinge cutouts, etc.) Workmanship, attention to detail, professionalism & customer service were excellent. Met all design criteria and came in under budget by 1/2 hour labor. I will do business with J.R. Woodworx in the future and have referred our designer to steer clients to J.R. Woodworx.

    Not well. They say they require 2 to 3 days from that time you call to move your piano. It was over a week. Then our plans changed, as happens during a big move, and when I called to reschedule, they were rude and hung up on me. The woman said they require 24 hours notice, which I understand. My call to reschedule was closer to 20 hours. I tried to apologize, but she hung up. Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't know. But I will be using a different company from now on.

    I purchased a GE refrigerator, induction cooktop, wall oven, and dishwasher from Appliance Factory & Mattress Kingdom on University Avenue in the summer of 2013. At the time I purchased a 10 year major components extended warranty for all four appliances. For reasons only the sales person knows I was written up on two separate invoices and I received two separate receipts; both receipts have a line item on them for the 10 year major components extended warranty. The receipt said nothing about only one component being under warranty and I was told all components were covered. Fast forward 4 1/2 years and the left two burners on the GE induction cooktop stopped working. I called BrandSource to service the cooktop and told them I had a 10 year major component warranty for the cooktop. They sent a service technician out to repair the cooktop and said nothing about the waaranty. When the service technician arrived he looked at the cooktop and said we didn't have a warranty and he charged us $65 and didn't even touch the cooktop. He also said even if we had a warranty that we wouldn't be covered because the main generator module that needs to be replaced isn't considered a major component. What? If the main generator module isn't a major component then what is? Fast forward a week and I went to the Appliance Factory & Mattress store that sold me the kitchen appliances and explained the situation. The store manager told me it looked like we should have a warranty, he didn't know why BrandSource wouldn't do the warranty work, and he was there to make sure I was taken care of properly. He gave me a phone number and told me to call their warranty department on Monday when they were open. On Monday I called the phone number and got a recording; six times. I then called Tuesday and got a recording twice so I finally left a message explaining the situation asking for them to call me back. Over a week later and they still haven't called me back. I then called the President's direct number listed on the Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet web site and got a recording stating the mailbox was full. I called back the next day and again got a recording. This time the mail box wasn't full and I was able to leave a message. Three days later I received a call from BrandSource and the person said I was under warranty for the refrigerator but not the cooktop. He also said that BrandSource the company had no affiliation with Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet and that I'd have to talk to Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet to get the warranty resolved. So, in summary, I purchased four appliances and was told I had a warranty on all four appliances. When one of them went out I was told the appliance that was faulty was not under warranty and the repairman charged me $65 for that information and he didn't even touch the cooktop. I was then told by the store manager to call a number that nobody answers. I was then told by BrandSource that it's not their problem and I should go back and talk to the store manager. Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet is not running an honest business. They say one thing but do another and then send you on a wild goose chase trying to get answers from phone numbers that nobody answers. Shame on you Appliance Factory & Mattress Outlet. My money for future kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, and mattresses will be spent elsewhere.

    Anthony is very nice...but the work done was completely unsatisfactory. He did get the scratches out, but the finish is terrible!!! Rough, blotchy, and not at all what I expected for the amount I paid. The table was suppose to be returned 6 days before he got it to me and I had to call him constantly to find out what was happening. He told me it was because I used furniture polish that that was the reason my table now looks the way it does. I'm not sure about that since there was an original polished finish before he worked on it and know that finish no longer exists in its entirity, which doesn't match the sideboards or the chairs. I trusted him...the least he could have done was to give me a discount on the price since the table now needs someone else to fix his mess, which is going to cost me MORE money!!!

    He conned me into buying an $80 frame, saying it was exactly what I needed. When I got it home and opened the box, it was a basic metal frame that required a box spring. I will never step foot in another Furniture Row store after this bait and switch. I emailed the salesman directly to express my extreme displeasure at having been conned, and he has yet to respond or attempt to remedy the situation. I guess his commission on an $80 bed frame is more important than his company's reputation.

    Do NOT use Showtime. They did not finish the job they were paid to do. The men who came were not truthful with their boss about the installation. They put blame on the customer when they did not get to the next job on time and refused to come back out to finish the job. They lied about what happened with the appointment and caused a stressful situation.
