He would go silent and we would not hear back.  When we did hear back, it was always an excuse or an odd recitation of "don't trust dealer ads, they are never real", which we weren't doing (all we did is test drive to choose cars and quoted offers to the broker that dealers wrote out for us); these responses had nothing to do with our situation at all or the car deal we were looking for.  It was just really odd.  I felt like he just wasn't doing any work and was trying to buy time or perhaps there was another issue.
After almost 4 weeks of trying to be patient and broker loyal, we gave up.  We felt like we missed out on some great year end closeout deals by this time and we were now outside the window of opportunity to order exactly what we wanted because of his non responsive delays.  We hadn't gotten any info at all.  His responses indicated that he wasn't even fully aware of what we were looking for, the time frame and that he hadn't gotten anywhere.
I did the work myself and from my computer.  I was able to procure info on the two cars we were considering.    I did get offers where the broker had not brought back any info despite having many weeks and this being his profession.  We were able to choose the best deal quickly.  I started late Saturday afternoon and had the deal done by Monday evening.  Dealers are closed in CO on Sunday, so it was pretty fast from start to finish.   I got a very good deal and had a first rate experience thanks to a great local dealer rep and his GM.
We either had an unreliable broker or perhaps brokers are not as able to get deals on higher ticket luxury vehicles like they do on other cars.  The broker should have been honest and say so or say he didn't or couldn't do the work and we could have moved on without missing out on savings.  Whatever the case, it was frustrating and a waste of time working with the broker on this car.  We ended up doing the deal ourselves and feel like we lost out on good year end closeouts because our broker did nothing while they disappeared and we had to buy a car that was in transit and will be delivered before we needed it.  If the broker had done any work to look into procuring a special order of exactly what we wanted and delivered when we needed it, we would have saved on overlapping lease payments.  Even though we did get pretty much the car we wanted, we had to settle for our second choice interior color due to losing out on the special order time window.
I might try the company again, but certainly it would be with another broker.

We found a work vehicle for our business online, called and met with the sales rep the next day.  We had the best experience at this dealership as we were in and out in one hour.  This was from the time we test drove to the time we walked out with the keys to our new vehicle it only took an hour.  They were kind and assertive to our needs and requests.  The vehicle was a used vehicle but we were treated like it was brand new, they even filled up the gas tank. The entire staff was friendly and did not pressure us like most dealerships.  This is a place we will visit in the future for auto purchases.

    OAKWOOD HOMES
Oakwood Homes built my house in 1999. These facts are needed in order to better understand this review.
On May 21, 2012, I contracted with Ace Roofing to install a solar attic fan because my house gets so hot in the summer and I'm trying to cut back on my air conditioning bills.  Aaron Clough, President of Ace Roofing, came out to my house with fan in hand, ready to install.  After checking my roof, he told me he couldn't do the installation because I didn't have any vents on the roof. I live on a cul de sac and my home, plus an identical house to mine on the NW corner that was built at the same time in 1999, are the only two homes  built by Oakwood that do not have vents.  I called Oakwood on 7-20-12 and left a message with Frank (didn't get last name) because he was out of the office, describing my problem, telling him it must have been an oversignt on their part.  Frank called back on 7-24-12, leaving me a message saying "it was not a requirement to install vents at the time of build.  It's not hard to do - to install.  Don't know how much its going to add.  We would not come back and do the vents".  I then called Douglas County Building Division and asked them if there was a building code in 1999 for roof or attic vents to be installed.  He said there was and they should have been installed.  When questioned further why this wasn't caught upon inspection, he said 'we're only human maam, we make mistakes too'.
In all honesty, we  have had so many problems over the years with Oakwood and their building crew, I cannot justify giving them anything but a sincere 'F' rating.  I'm not the only owner with complaints in my area, ask any of the original neighbors/owners and you'll hear nothing good about Oakwood Homes.
Hence, I got a refund from the Bid Deal thru Angie's List for the solar attic fan.  Because air vents were never installed on my roof, and I should have anywhere from 4-6 to fully benefit and utilize the solar attic fan, I'd like to say thanks to Oakwood Homes for putting the screws to us once again.

    MCDONALD VOLVO AUTOMOTIVE
Due to construction, it was very difficult to browse the vehicles. Also it was difficult to locate a sales person. However, once we did find the correct sales person, we received good service and test drive several vehicles. Overall good service.

We were looking for a 2003-2006 Eddy Bauer Expedition, or Navigator. In my search for a healthy vehicle and fair deal, my spouse and I must have looked at close to 30 vehicles.  We did not purchase what we were shown because they were over priced, in severe disrepair, or the dealer was attempting to take advantage of our credit situation.
I saw an Expedition on the Ralph Schomp BMW website that met my criteria, so I called to scheduled a test drive.  When I arrived, the vehicle was waiting at the entrance for me and I was promptly assisted by Jim Merrell my sales associate.
Durring the test drive I fell in love with the SUV.   It was priced below blue book, it was sparkling clean, and it was very strong running.   My only concern was my credit and my ability to qualify for financing.  Jim was very understanding, and optimistic.  He told me he would do his best to get me in that vehicle, or another that was on the lot.
To my surprise, Jim called me the next morning and told we had been approved for a loan, -which happened to require a significantly smaller downpayment, a lower interest rate, and a payment half the size of any other dealership.
I drove off the lot the same evening with tears of joy in my eyes!  I couldn't believe, after all the headaches and disappointment, how easy Schomp had made this, and that I was driving a vehicle nicer than I had imagined.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! The entire team, from the helpful receptionist, Jim Merrell my sales associate, Jose in detail, and management, for the exceptional service, and creating a comfortable atmosphere and effortless buying experience.
I will recommend Ralph Schomp to everyone I know, and I will absolutely be back in the future.
    Sincerely,Leah Omilion

    Courtesy Acura
He's sold me 3 Acuras.  There's no high-pressure sell. They are just a great dealership, and are very good about the warranty maintenance and attention to their clients.   They have a top notch service department, too.  They are also very good for the follow-up.

    AutoNation Toyota Arapahoe
We just moved to the area and needed a new car.  We bought a new care from Go Toyota simply because they had the model and color we wanted.  No other local toyota dealer had the particular car in stock.  The process at GO Toyota was so PAINFUL!  So slow.  Salesperson wasn't very knowledgeable.  We were constantly waiting while he went to ask someone else.  We negotiated the price and then we went home to think about it.  When we decided we wanted it, we made an appointment to purchase the car.  They were not prepared for us at all.  We literally sat around for hours waiting while they did the paper work and got the car ready.  And they did not negotiate the price down much.  It was disappointing.  We were desperate and wanted the car quick so we caved.  We liked the people at Groove Toyota better but they didn't have the car in stock there.  But if you have a choice, try Groove.

    Groove Toyota
We bought two new cars this summer.  One from Go Toyota and one from Groove Toyota.  Our experience at Groove Toyota was so much better.  Nicer people, faster at getting the process done, more knowledgeable about the cars.  We went to Go Toyota for the first time because they had the model and color we wanted while Groove did not.  But I if you have a choice I recommend Groove Toyota.  They were more responsive to negotiation and the whole process was just so much more pleasant.  Dan was our salesman.  He was great.

    Lakeside Auto Brokers Inc
I would not purchase a vehicle from this dealer again. Not only did they fail to disclose a major problem with my vehicles turbo and taillight wiring but they tried to conceal the problems by clearing the warning lights prior to delivering the vehicle to me. I discovered the problems the same day as delivery and reported the problems same day. My vehicle sat at an Audi dealer awaiting their response for days. After the lack of response and refusal to address the problems I reported them to the BBB of Colorado Springs.
More recently, I took the vehicle in for new tires and discovered that all 4 wheels were only secured by one lug nut. The other 4 lug nuts on each wheel weren't the correct ones and were not even seated. This put my family and I at great risk of injury or death. Lakeside refuses to accept responsibility and refuses to reimburse me for the cost to get this vehicle in a safe and legal working condition.
If the BBB route is unsuccessful I will be pursuing further legal action. It's dealers like this that give car dealerships a bad name.
This is a case of failure to disclose and intent to deceive and failure to do the right thing.
