    Samuel constantly under bid jobs and then tried to make us pay for his grossly over budget work. The quality was very poor with cheap materials, short cuts, and sloppy workmanship. In one case he failed to grade the yard right, which caused a foundation wall to fail. He refused to take responsibility. On another job he built an addition to close to the garage and we had to tear off part of the garage. On another job he rebuilt a garage in an easement and he had to tear down a brand new garage. I should have learned to stop using him, but I flip multiple houses at once and we had him working on many jobs at the same time. Every job also took three times as long to complete as he quoted. He loves to use other companies licenses to pull permits without their knowledge and use his own crew to do the work. Ask the city of Greeley planning department what they think of him. He does not know the codes and City of Greeley recommends you not use him. I have also had three of his workers/subs call me because he did not pay them and they wanted to lien my house. A lot of the work he did was not done right: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, kitchens, baths all had sloppy and poor work done. We found out he did not use backer-board to install new tile on one bath, but used regular drywall. He used untreated wood to build a deck, built a patio cover with roof supports 24 inches apart (even I know they should be 16). He tore down a patio with out my permission, when we asked him to repair it. He tore down a garage without my permission when we asked him to fix it. The list goes on and on. I also know multiple other people who have used him and had the same issues. Multiple people are threatening to lien and sue him. Stay away!

    The price was fair, after I argued with them a little bit. They overcharged me for something they didn't do. They also charged me for an extra hour when she was on the phone for a half an hour and not working. I had to argue with them about being reimbursed. I had a problem with the switch that I had to have another electrician fix it. They were honest.

    I first met Fabian Flores of King Electric in 2011 when he fried two $60, 110 wall mount, electrical heaters by installing them on a 220 line. They glowed red, emitted harsh smoke, tripped the breaker every time they were turned on, and then died. They could have burned down my duplex. I pointed out to him that he had to have flipped the 220 breaker to keep from being jolted when he hooked them up - and the line itself should have signaled to him he was making a mistake. (I thought I had him in my rearview mirror.)
    Now, in 2016, I encounter him again because he had done some work many months ago for a customer whose rental I manage. 
    He put in a new dryer service line at the rental I manage, before I took over the property.  He put in the new dryer service without securing the flexible conduit properly and without removing the old, dead dryer line and wall mount box. The same day two other things in the house stopped working. Of course, he has maintained that it has nothing to do with him.
    My customer's experience, which I have the misfortune to have been privy to, was much the same as mine. He made a good first impression, followed by substandard work, denying, excuse making, months of call dodging, whining, story telling, and finally, all day adolescent  flame war texting verbal abuse both to myself and my customer.
    I have been in business for 35 years, and I have seen some doozies. I am too busy and too old to spend time on social media.  But, I can't remember ever having encountered a more unpleasant, acidly sarcastic, unprofessional person, so here I sit at the keyboard - warning you:

    Electrician was very knowledgeable and explained what was currently wrong and what needs to be done to fix the problem long term clearly. Replaced and remounted my 220 dryer outlet with no issues and within a reasonable time. Good overall experience and will use again for future needs.

    Quality of work was excellent. Prompt, thorough, and they actually listened to my concerns. Previous electricians were very dismissive of concerns and did not even call back. Price was high, but IMO worth it in this case.

    We are making some changes in our basement, installing a sink in the place of a washer and dryer so my father in law can have a place to make coffee and heat things in the microwave.  I wanted the 220 gone completely and a GFCI plug installed for obvious safety reasons.  I contacted Derek after another Angie's list provider failed to return my call for several days.  I'm really glad I did!  I wasn't home when the work was done but my wife was very pleased with the recommendations he make and he even had her contact me regarding a question she wasn't sure of.  He was polite and courteous to my elderly father in law and completed the work quickly and efficiently.  We're going to have a floor outlet installed in the living room and will definitely have Derek do the work.

    I contacted this electrician due to the positive reviews here.  My first call was on Monday, August 3rd at approximately 2 PM where I left a voice mail.  After hearing nothing, I sent a text on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:30 AM.  It's now 10 AM on Thursday and still no contact.  I understand being busy and perhaps not being able to schedule anything for a few days but failing to return a phone call/text after 4 days is unacceptable.  My second experience with Angie's List and neither have returned my phone calls.  Hope that's not a sign of things to come...

    I had one ceiling fan��replaced with a new one��and two light kits installed on existing ceiling fans that didn't have any.�� They put together and installed two overhead storage racks��in my garage and��a standing��pantry��in��the kitchen.�� They repaired one of the slide outs in a lower kitchen cupboard and installed a microwave above the stove.�� The next day they repaired the ceiling in my porch, where drywall had fallen.����I had to be patient with getting a��date scheduled for them��to come out initially, but I was pleased with their work and would hire them again. I believe I actually got two guys working the first day and one the 2nd, so I also thought the price was a great deal!

    They came when they said they would, performed the work professionally, and came back to make a small redesign on the back-up battery/inverter part of the system which had some problems.
    They were available to answer all my questions and help me with any part of the operations of the system.
    I was very satisfied with their performance, and have been very satisfied with the operation of the solar system for the past 2 + years.
