    Weld County Appliance
CG (or CJ) came to the house again. He confirmed, after some diagnostics, that one of the motors was bad. (The unit would fill and drain water, but it would circulate or "swish" the water around.) He related that the motor would be $240, plus $95 for labor. On his way out, he told me that I should call Whirlpool and complain to them that my year and a half old dishwasher was broken. He said that they might do something; but, maybe not. So, I called Whirlpool. After doing some complaining and explaining (and the fact that I had purchased several Whirlpool appliances) they agreed to pay for the part. However, the key was that I had to use one of their "authorized service repair companies" and Weld County Appliance is not on the list. I reluctantly agreed. So, I had to call Weld County Appliance back and inform them and tell them not to order the part. I spoke directly with CG and he asked me to pay for the "house call" at $58 which I gladly agreed to pay for. His suggestion, after all, saved me from having to spend $240 on the part! What can I say, a great company! I highly recommend Weld County Appliance!

    Weld County Appliance
I contacted Weld County Appliance after my year old refrigerator died. We scheduled for 2 days later. In the mean time, they suggested that I unplug the refrigerator for 30 minutes and plug it back in. They doubted that a 1-year old refrigerator had anything broken. Instead, he said it was a 50-50 chance that the control panel needed reset. I just got off the phone with them and canceled the appointment. Their recommendation worked like a charm!! They are just a great company to work with! He willingly gave me a suggestion over the phone that ultimately cost them money. Who does that anymore?!

    Appliance Pros

We inherited a front loading washer and dryer with the purchase of our home without any idea of age or history.  The washer kept showing an error code "SUD" which we could reset by unplugging and doing a couple of other things to get by.  When the dryer started squealing it's time to call since I figured it was probably a bearing.  When Richard came out he recommended we go ahead and replace the other components while the machine was taken apart (makes sense to me).  He came back in a few days when the parts came in and promptly finished the job.

I had done some reading on the internet regarding the code with the washer and figured it was going to require some work as well.  Richard indicated we were likely using too much detergent (remember, we didn't have any manuals) and suggested we use liquid fabric softener instead of dryer sheets to help evacuate the suds from the machine.  We've done that and the washer is working perfectly!  Richard could have done all the repair stuff I'd read about but he simply advised us...very honest to say the least!  The washer is working fine with no more error codes AND no deterioration in quality of wash.  Good job, very satisfied with the quality and price.

    Mr. Appliance of Northern Colorado
My dryer wasn't working- it wouldn't even turn on. I got an appointment for the day after I called, which was nice. I was afraid it was going to be an expensive repair, but Mike determined that it was simply a broken knob. He fixed the knob and had everything ready to go in a short time. He saved me money in parts and the possibility of replacing the dryer. He was friendly and professional. I will call this company again in a heartbeat.

My refrigerator quit working on a Saturday.  I called 2 companies; one of which we used in the past and Weld Applicance.  Of course both were closed.  So, we went all weekend without a refrigerator and freezer.  (What a pain....)
On Monday, both called me back.  I ended up scheduling both of them to come.  I'm not sure why, but I just did.  The other company who we used before (and who I wrote a very positive review on) came first.  They diagnosed the refrigerator and said that it was a bad compressor and it would be over $600 to fix or repair the refrigerator.
Since I had used them before and I trusted them, I went to Lowes and placed an order for a new $1700 refrigerator.  However, they couldn't deliver it for several days.  On a whim, I kept the 2nd appointment with Weld Appliance later in the afternoon.  And, I'm very glad I did!
CG came and within 5-10 minutes had diagnosed that we had a bad relay switch.  He replaced the relay with a solid state relay and started up the refrigerator.  It started right up and I could tell right away that it was cold.  I ended up paying like $45 for the part and with the labor and diagnosis, it was about $125.  It was money extremely well-spent as I now can cancel the order for the new refrigerator.  So, yes, I paid $125, but I saved $1700!
Obviously, I'm not at all happy with the first company.  Thank you to Weld Appliance!
BTW--CG was extremely polite and professional.  He also had a wealth of knowledge.  Great guy.

    Weld County Appliance
I asked him why the repair was so much and he told me it was the cost of the part, which according to him it was not readily available.  When I informed him that I would need to speak with my husband and do more research, he became belligerent, and informed me that I would not be able to get this repair done for any less from any other repair place in the area.
At that point I showed him the door.
I called several other places for the part; two of them had it in stock for less than $20.00.  I picked up the part, and my husband and I were able to install it, with the directions included in less than 10 minutes.  The dryer works fine and has ever since.

    Quick Appliance Repair Service
I wrote a request for information and services on 12/26/2012.
    I received a reply today; 1/6/2015!!!
Not very punctual, not very responsive, and not very professional in my opinion.
I certainly will not be using these folks for any services in the near future....

    Weld County Appliance
Our side by side GE stopped producing water yet made ice. I called several providers and Weld county had the best service call price - I wasn't sure whether we would fix or buy a new one so I didn't want to put out a bunch of money to find the problem. The man I spoke with on the phone knew my problem (or at least was pretty sure being that it was over the phone) Scheduled him to come out the next day. He showed up right on time and was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes. He also let me know that it is a flaw of this brand/model and that most likely it would happen again. He showed me how I could fix it on my own which I have done twice since then. Very professional - I would definitely recommend!!

    Brand Source TV And Appliance
After purchasing appliances from Brand Source (in itself a very pleasant experience with helpful and knowledgeable employees) we had them delivered and installed in our kitchen. The delivery occurred within 15 minutes of the estimated time and installation was completed in the time frame promised. The installers did their work carefully and cleanly then took the time to provide an overview of how each appliance operates. There was a problem with the refrigerator install, but explanations were provided and suggestions made for how it could be improved (steps needed that they were not able to do). We would definitely buy from Brand Source again and will use their repair service when needed.

    JIM & DAVE'S APPLIANCE
Easy to get an appointment. Very timely in arrival. Total time was 20 minutes for repair. Very personable. Knowledgeable and even told us that our refrigerator is a great machine and not to get rid of it unless it completely died. Machine sounds like New and works flawlessly. Wouldn't hesitate to bring them back again.
