    Design Exteriors LLC
Our home needed an existing interior drain solution repaired. Using a masonry saw and jackhammers, the crew was able to replace the existing drainage, and restore the basement slab to its original condition. This was a fairly unique project, and Design Exteriors was very detailed in providing plans and estimates up front.

    System Pavers
System Pavers rescued us from a bad situation with a contractor who started a patio construction for us but never finished. We came into this project with fear and trepidation because we had a bad experience with another patio build that didn't go well. The bid was inexpensive, but we learned a hard lesson that "you get what you pay for". The job took 9 months and the quality was so terrible that it was necessary to tear it out and rebuild our patio from scratch. THAT IS WHY WE HIRED SYSTEM PAVERS - to redo a poorly built patio and give us the quality that we wanted. They had done another job for us several years ago, and so we were familiar with their integrity and their commitment to quality. From now on, we will call them first. Our experience with System Pavers has been superior from start to finish. Justin Hugill from System Pavers, was great in our initial contact. He was quick to catch on to our vision for the finished project and was very helpful in mapping out the design. The crew from Dos Lunas were not just construction guys, but actual hardscape craftsmen. They are experts in their field and are meticulous about doing their job right. Every day the work went on as planned - they were never late or absent and displayed an unusual work ethic in every aspect of the job. Justin was always available to answer questions or resolve issues. The whole project was finished within a week of the beginning and we are now enjoying a beautiful, high-end outdoor living space that makes the most of our mountain home. So, SO glad that we hired System Pavers! This is a patio to enjoy and be proud of! What a difference!

    System Pavers
System Pavers did a patio for us about three years ago, we absolutely love it. We are out there basically everyday (weather permitting) and it has been fantastic. The best part about our fantastic patio is the service and warranty that System Pavers provides. As you would expect, we have had some settling issues and they have been great about coming out and fixing any issues we have. They even figured out what our lighting issue was and had that fixed in no time. The guys are always great when they come out, super friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. Summer is their busy season so it takes them a little longer to do service stuff, but that is completely understandable. I would and definitely have recommended System Pavers to anyone who is looking to add a great feature to their house.

I own a Victorian home from 1883 and needed to rebrick the front of the house. The stucco was cracking and brick dust was leaking out. We took off a couple of test pieces and understood that it all had to be replaced. There are two Brick walls, the interior load bearing, and the exterior brick wall. the exterior wall had buckled, and was about 8 inches out. the entire front brick exterior wall had to be replaced. Gary was always prompt and on time. Great on communications. His quote was spot on. I received 2 other quotes, and conducted reference checks with Gary's past customers. Gary is does all of Boulder's historic buildings and I can see why. the final cost was spot on his estimate. Gary worked with a couple of delays from my end. Part of the project was rebuilding a porch wall. the pillars that where resting on the wall (and holding up the porch roof) and to be removed and stripped. that was the cause of the delay and he adapted to the changes. It was really more of a collaboration project for the both of us. The quality of the work is amazing. we get compliments from our neighbors on the front of the house. We place on replacing the exterior brick wall on the back of the house and will use Gary. Further, I am the Executive Director of a historic Veteran's non profit and we just bought a historic building. I will be using Gary on that restoration as well.

    Chris Mancuso
We continue to use him for our home improvement projects. He's a good guy, he's independent and he has been maintaining our steps for 3 years. He also does some big projects for us, and when he does it he does an excellent job. The scheduling is uncertain however even though we are patient. He does a few steps at a time inbetween his bigger jobs. He charges $500 to $600 for 2 or 3 steps and it's a matter of taking out the cracked stones and replacing it. I would say it's reasonable for his work efforts.

Daniel promptly answers his phone, is flexible in scheduling time, arrived promptly to provide the estimate, and quickly sent me the estimate so that I had it in hand within 2 days.  His prices are reasonable and his references check out.  Since the work I had him price is for new buyer of my home, I did not use his service.  But I will definitely use his service if needed at my new home.  I am loyal to those who provide great service.

Bill was extremely patient with us as we kept changing our mind about what type of stone we were looking for and provided us with many different examples to choose from.  We have a somewhat difficult HOA and Bill provided help with getting our exterior changes approved.  He and his crew finished the inside work the day before Christmas Eve and were back shortly after the new year to finish out the exterior work.  The fireplace and exterior wall look fantastic!  So much better than what we had before.  I would gladly recommend Bill and his crew to anyone needing this type of work.  The crew was professional, kept their work areas tidy and worked late to try and finish the interior work quickly.  Bill was quick to make a few minor adjustments to stone placement to address our concerns.  The end product is exactly what I wanted.

    LIGHTHOUSE STONE
We chose Lighthouse because it its beautiful selection of travertine tile, including some unique decorative mosaic patterns which no one else carries. Their granite selection was similarly outstanding, high quality and so beautiful!  Although the company did not have a huge selection, the quality of the selection was such that it was hard to choose.
Lighthouse kept to the estimate it provided us for the work specified in the contract. However, we liked the stone and the work so much that we kept adding to the project, such as tiling the shower ceiling, wainscoting on the walls, heating the master bath floor, etc. and so we kept increasing the prices of the projects. We upgraded the sinks and toilets, and paid for the faucets , tub and shower enclosures ourselves, as agreed upon beforehand. Even then, Lighthouse's price was less that that of another company that wanted to do the work in ceramic tile, not  in natural stone.
We paid for the work in increments,  initially for the materials and then for the labor as it progressed. Lighthouse's owner took the time to go over every line of each invoice, so we knew exactly what we were paying for every part of each project. This is one of the most honest companies that I have ever dealt with.
My one problem with the company is punctuality. Sometimes some of the workers would show up so late that they remained working late into the evening. Nevertheless, the work in the original contract was completed more or less on time, with additional time necessary for the add-ons, plumbing surprises, etc.
However, punctuality was not an issue for the granite installers. They really bent over backwards to install the kitchen granite when we needed it. Ditto for the dry wall installer and electrician.
The tile installer, while not very punctual, was a master craftsman and perfectionist. We learned later that he created the beautiful bathroom we had admired on a magazine cover. I suppose that the special needs he had, to work when he needed to work, was more than offset by the quality of the work he delivered for the price we paid.
Everyone at Lighthouse seemed to take pride in their work and a real interest in our satisfaction with the project outcome. We get so many compliments on our bathrooms and kitchen counters. So many friends who see them want to know who did the work. We really enjoyed getting to know the people at Lighthouse and having them in our lives. If I had any more kitchens or bathrooms to remodel, I would certainly hire them again...
