****** Stay away*** Save your self the heartache*****This contractor quit our project in Grand Lake CO. Project was $250k for garage and master suite addition. This contractor left our home completely unlivable and quit the project after questions and concerns started to come forward. He and his novice carpenters left a gaping hole in our home, $50k in structural damages and beams that weren't set correctly and had to be fixed prior to moving forward since nothing would pass inspections . He blatantly overcharged $4500 for electrical work and the electrical company never performed one service on the home. He over charges 20 % to 50% for material and labor. Major bait and switch on products. Dave will cut every corner possible. Please see video at [*** Link removed ***] Lexis Nexus will also provide you will several current and past lawsuits filed against Dave Rogers under various businesses. Currently he is not in good standing with Colorado Secretary of State and DORA does not have a recorded license on file. Currently I am pursing his insurance as he left our home and job site so unsafe that I broke my leg on the stairs which weren't secured. If we can save anyone from having to go through such a horrible traumatic experience we hope you hear our story. David rogers should be in jail for what he has done to us any many other as we are finding out. Mr Rogers hides behind multiple PO Boxes and numerous address and phone numbers and has been run out Once before. His online presence is is complete BS. Get references, get a solid contract and ask for insurance he done't carry work comp and only a limited liability and subs out all his contractors.. He is a bully and can be very intimidating and a nightmare to work with were not even sure if he has really ever built a home .... INCOMPETENT

The process was horrible. We were told that construction would be complete as early as the end of September, and we were strung along with potential dates until the end of Dec. 2013, when we were told that we had to close on December 31, or face financial penalties. We were able to close on December 30, 2013, because we needed to move on the 31st, and the movers would not be available more than half a day. We closed on December 30, but the City of Arvada would not issue a occupancy permit until other changes were complete. In the inspection process there were several issues that were undone, and most were corrected. However we had requested an upgraded bathroom counter, and were told that this was holding up the process. At the final inspection the wrong counter top color and style was installed, and we were not notified of the change or given the opportunity to review other choices. This was a $1200.00 option that has not yet been corrected. I love the location and the design layout, but the quality of the construction and the responsiveness is unbearable. This is the single worst experience that I have had and I am not sure how they stay in business, except perhaps that people need to resell one day. I wish everyday that I had walked away from the $12,500.00, down payment.

    Arrowhead Construction
My husband and I bought a home from Arrowhead Construction that they had fixed up and flipped. The drainage in the area is very tricky; there are no storm drains or gutters, basically all the homes have small ditchs in front of their homes and a culvert pipe under their driveways. This allows water to flow down the street and in to a small ditch at the end of the street. One of the things that they did was to remove the culvert and install a French drain around the perimeter of the home. This French drain was supposed to collect water from around the house and drain in to the neighbors drain. Upon moving in, we started noticing that there were wet spots and muddy areas in certain areas around the outside of the house. We had several people look at the lot and even had a survey done to try to figure this out. We contracted someone to grade the lot correctly and to see what was going on. What we found out was that the French drain that they installed was done incorrectly. It was actually buried higher at the front of the home and lower at the back, allowing to water to flow TO the house rather than AWAY from it. After a rain, the water would flow towards the house and just sit in the drain causing constant wet and muddy areas. Also, it was about 2 feet BELOW my neighbors drain, and the pipe was smashed flat (so it would never work, unless water flows UP HILL). The work that they did was totally incorrect, and it is costing us $1000's of dollars to get it fixed. Before we had the work done, I sent Arrowhead an e-mail to ask if they had any ideas or info that might help us (I wasnt asking them to fix it), however they never responded.

    Rangeline Homes
I?m one of these people who feel that much of the ?service? in the service industry has been lost.  So when I run across a company and/or individual that provides exemplary service and customer attention, I like to call them out.
I asked Luke Mann (owner of Rangeline Homes) to come out to take a look at a project we had in mind and provide an estimate.  This was a small project that was basically an extension of an external stairway we had completed earlier in the season.
Luke was on time, professional and had some great ideas.  While I think we both knew this wasn?t the right project for us to engage on; what really struck me was the time, respect, and attention to detail that Luke provided during our meeting.
In the end, we used our original contractor to maintain consistence of look and feel, since it was an extension of the previous project.  However, I will be looking for future opportunities to engage with Luke and Rangeline, as he exemplifies the type of company and individual that I want to work with.
If you have a construction project and are looking for a true partner to work with, I would highly recommend Luke and Rangeline Homes.

    J Tillman Group Inc
This young man was friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned out the dryer vent very quickly.  He did everything from the outside, coming inside several times to listen to the air hose inside the dryer piping so he could tell he'd fed the hose in far enough.  I was amazed at how much lint was removed and was very happy I'd hired this company to do the work.  He told me how often I should have the vent cleaned out to save drying time and save on energy costs.  I was very pleased with him and his work and he cleaned up everything afterwards.   I would definitely hire this company again.

I have had a very good, very positive experience. They are very prompt in responding to phone calls. They are very timely. They are sticking to the timelines. They gave a much more reasonable price than other companies.

    Cambren Construction
The contractor started out nice, but was very pushy in getting contracts signed. The contract was for 1800 SQ FT, only 1450 SQ FT were actually finished. Promised to complete the work with 8 weeks. After the job started, they started disappearing for periods of time and eventually became rude when asked simple questions. Scott Grose yelled at my wife and myself for no good reason in our home. Then he started pushing for progress payments way ahead of schedule. We later learned that he declared bankruptcy during the contract and internet research indicated he has threatened business associates and has rocky relationships with most his clients and partners. When confronted about the rude abusive behavior towards us, he called us rude and condescending. We would have fired him on the spot except for the money involved and most of the work was paid for. We were eventually able to get the job completed and inspections approved from the city four weeks after initial verbally promised completion date. It doesn't matter how good the job is or what the result is, I would tell anyone never let him in your house. You will regret it!

He was very thoughtful about architectural suggestions in terms of home remodeling. He was very concerned about the prices and didn't make any additional charges for everything he purchased for me. His workmanship was excellent and he was punctual. He even cleaned up after himself.

    Nautilus Builders Inc
Home construction projects can be very stressful and disruptive on a family s life. To have a contractor who is unreliable, difficult to communicate with and lacking in honesty can triple the disruption. At every stage of the process from design to the final trim work, Nautilus Builder s president Bob Lipovsky communicated clearly, listened attentively, changed directions rapidly at our request and was always gracious, friendly and professional. Bob made every effort to minimize the disruption, even to memorizing the route to the hospital in case my pregnant wife went into labor while I was at work! If we had to go through it all again (which I hope we never do), I can say without hesitation that we would hire Nautilus Builders.

I wouldn't hire this guy to build a dog house. He was constantly forgetting things, like the hurricane tie-downs, then calling the engineer to change the specs. He interrupted me with questions all day, and would then call us late at night. When the framing was about half-complete, I realized that the roof line would not line up correctly with the opposite wall. On the blue print, the wall was to be built at 9' 1 1/4". Larry unilaterally decided that this was a mistake, and built the walls 14" too short, without conferring with the homeowners, the architect, or the engineer. Consequently, everything from the foundation up had to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch. Larry also used incorrect dimensions when setting the foundation footings, so the foundations for the fireplace and the front porch had to be corrected. Door headers were not built to code. He double-ordered doors and windows that we're now stuck with.
