  • Andrew and Jake the owners of CPR show up on time and are here when they say they are going to be here. Communication is great someone is always available to answer questions and phone calls. Workmanship is over the top and I am blown away by the work that has been done. I was very skeptical due to past experiences that I had with other contractors, and they gave me assurance that good quality work is still possible. They are continuing to do work throughout our home. We will write more reviews on the other work that has been completed.

  • Robert's painting Company did a horrible job in our brand new home! We contracted Robert to paint the interior part of our new home, and at first I was satisfied with his work until he started to approach our deadline. The agreed job was to take four days, and it ended up being five. None of his crew showed up on one of the days. He seemed to rush the last day and his crew's quality decreased dramatically. The paint seam lines from the wall to the ceiling were not straight at all. Paint was dripped everywhere, all over the floors and counters. His crew painted over wall sockets, media panels and some switch and electrical face plates weren't even removed. When I confronted him on these discrepancies, he initially said he would fix them, but never did. I told him that the quality of work was not to our standard and that he wasn't going to get paid in full until the discrepancies were addressed. He became very frustrated and angry with me because I asked him to fix his crew's mistakes. He eventually attempted to remediate some of the problems, but did a very very poor job. I later found out that his crew's van caused about $175 worth of property damage to our pavers in the front. I called him up the next day to explain that he needs to fix all these issues, ASAP. I even sent him pictures of the property damage. He then told me that he would repair the damage pavers and come back to fix the paint problems. NEVER DID! A week passed and I called him up again to explain to him that if he did not fix what we had discuss, I was going to report him to the BBB and Angie's List. He then became very rude and belligerent, and then threw the race card at me. He then said "You are trying to take advantage of me because I am Mexican!". I ended all communications after that. It is obvious this guy doesn't run a reputable company and doesn't stand by his work, or his word. You can tell that he is new to the business based on his workmanship and how he handles his customers. I wouldn't have had a problem if he would have just did his job, and remediate the problems that he said he would fix. This guy is a scam!

  • Josh showed up on time, assessed what needed to be done and jumped right in and accomplished all of it within the 8 hours paid for.  Not only did he complete the job, but he didn't leave a drop of excess paint anywhere and the quality was top notch.  At the end of the workday, Josh cleaned up any mess and hauled the waste of paper and paint brushes out with him.  We will call A Brush With Success again to meet our painting needs!!!

  • We highly recommend Tom with Hairy Yeti Construction. With our upcoming remodel started in March of 2013, we did extensive research and had multiple contractors come to the house to give us an estimate. One of our limitations that most of the other contractors were unable or unwilling to entertain was the fact that we wanted to be active participants in our remodel. Understandably, most are uncomfortable with this – not knowing the skill level or abilities of the homeowner. Tom agreed to our request with the understanding that if he felt certain portions of the remodel needed to be completed solely by him and his team, or he felt the quality was suffering, he would make this clear. WE remodeled our kitchen and adjoining room and bathroom. Our remodel of our 1972 built home consisted of reframing load=bearing walls to open the space, leveling floors, plumbing, lighting, electric, insulation, drywall, and tile flooring. Each of the members of Tom’s team that came to our home was respectful, knowledgeable, and left a clean space each day they left (much appreciated since we were still living in the home). Tom himself was honest, straightforward, focused on customer service and satisfaction, and is clearly knowledgeable in this trade. Tom communicated quickly when plans had to change due to unexpected issues and worked closely with us to find an acceptable solution. He also became a favorite of our two black labs and was tolerant of their need to actively participate in the process! There have been no issues, almost a year later, with any of the work completed by Tom and his team. We are happy with the quality service we have received and enjoy the end product that much more as we were able to be an active part of the remodel.

  • This is the second time preferred has done remodeling for us and, as the first time, they did a great job. Excellent planning, preparation, and very high quality work. The job was done to perfection at a very reasonable cost. They are punctual, honest, and forthright. Not only do they do excellent work, but Rodney is also very good at design and functionality. The sub contractors that Preferred works with are also very good at what they do, charge a reasonable price, and provide excellent customer service. Once the job is complete Rodney follows up to ask if everything is working out well and asks whether we are satisfied. We will never use another contractor for remodeling as long as Preferred is in business.
  • We got a bad crew. Nail holes were not filled, gaps were not caulked, paint was dripped EVERYWHERE (carpet, tile, wood floors, countertops). The painting of the trim and doors was terrible--huge paint drips left to dry, incomplete coverage, pools of paint on the floor. The crew also never arrived on time; they were at least 30-45 minutes late each day. (One day I called looking for them because they had not arrived within an hour and a half of the scheduled time.) I reached out to management about my displeasure, so they did send a different crew out to attempt to fix the problems. At this point, though, the damage was already done. It would have taken them weeks to sand and repaint/repair all the areas of concern. (Neither of us were interested in this.) The new crew addressed most of the big stuff and their efforts certainly helped, but it really should have been done right the first time. On the flip side, everyone was extremely nice to deal with. I just can't recommend their painting skills.

  • Brad did an exceptionally good job. He was on time and did everything we asked. I am difficult to please so this review was not taken lightly. He is busy and it takes awhile for him to get back to you but be patient.

  • I had Nancy do the windows on our Parker home in 1999 and we loved what she did then. I actually ordered everything prior to our move to CO and my wife was not yet in CO when Nancy came out to the home. Believe it or not, my wife loved everything we ordered and it all served us well for 14 years at that home. We recently moved to Franktown, CO and called Nancy. And as expected, everything went well and we have beautiful window coverings now. My wife is very happy. Working with Nancy is very convenient. She knows her products and has a lot of expertise around what would work in various circumstances and what options could be considered, etc. We would use Nancy again should we move again someday. She is a professional. Her installer is also a pro and was a joy to work with.

  • This was the 5th or 6th company I called.  Many of the companies did not even call me back or did not want to come out because I only had a leak and was not looking for a roof replacement.  Aaron called me back the same day and had one of his guys come out within a couple of days.  They were very thorough in their search for the leak.  He also looked the rest of the roof over  and sealed all of the exposed nail heads and took care of some other issues while he was up there.  I expected to pay a couple hundred dollars for someone to come out which is what they charged but I felt like I got a lot more for my money that I would have with someone else.  I also had them replace my attic fan since it had stopped working and the guy happened to have one in his truck.  They gave me a great price on this as well.  I purposely waited to writ this review until we had some additional rain so I could make sure the leak was taken care of.  We had rain several days last week  and everything stayed dry!

  • We will never use anyone other than Dan Madajski/Pro Patch  to do drywall work.  The texture he puts on the walls is beautiful (I like a heavier texture).  All work from delivery of drywall to hanging to final texture was done in a timely manner.  The drywall boards had to be delivered to the 2nd floor and a crane was used.  Great care was given to not damage the window and siding of the house.  Accomodating, professional, knowledgable and had some great ideas on how I could use the old house window sills when I had been told it was not possible (the old sills were dimensioned for a house with 4" walls instead of the modern 6" walls).  Other contractors that have walked through the un-textured basement room have spontaneously commented on how smooth the painted walls are - they are impressed with the quality of the drywall work.  Dan does use a crew for hanging drywall but he was  always there working with them.
