  • Kevin was great. He realized that it was not the pipe leaking as we suspected. The ground floor toilet had not been set tightly and the leak wad from the tank. He quickly tightened down the toilet after schimming it level and caulked around it.

  • They were prompt, courteous, and professional -- then sent me an invoice for $120 for a ten minute job. I was misled by the number of reviews including payments of $39-50 for small jobs. When I complained about the rate, I was told it is their minimum and they did not do jobs for less than that. I learned my lesson -- find out the minimum for a service call first!

  • I paid for the 1st service call, then called to set up replacement disposal. I thought I should receive full credit for the first visit, but no. The work was excellent however. I also called about a replacement under warranty for my water heater, they would not work with getting the replace and quote started at $850, for installation only. And if you don't have a pan, and if... Action plumbing got me a replacement unit and charged $200 for the install! Fast. Clean, Professional work!

  • I had two instances when the warranty proved worthless. The first was a freeze protected hose bib that was damaged because the water hadn't completely drained when the hose was removed. Even though the freeze problem occurred inside the house framing AHS said it was not covered because it was exterior to the house. The second problem involved a dishwasher which generated a code that said there was a leak. They sent a repair person who called 15 minutes before the scheduled repair appointment and said they were running about an hour late. He finally showed up nearly three hours later. He fiddled for more than an hour and called his advisor several times to help with diagnostics. He would not pull the dishwasher completely out from under the counter top because it was connected by copper tubing (3/8"). Supposedly, there company policy is not to service this type of installation. By that it means they can not properly determine the problem because they can not see behind the dishwasher so no repair was performed. He did move the dishwasher out from under the granite counter top and in that process broke one of the brackets securing the DW to the kitchen cabinet and bent the one on the opposite side so bad it can't be used. He did not remove the screws that attached the DW to the cabinets. The brackets were part of the dishwasher frame so there was no way to repair the problem the repair person caused I had to come up with my own solution to keep the dishwasher from tilting forward out of the kitchen cabinets when loading the dishwasher.
