Pediatric Care reviews in Fort Collins

  • I hate to say it, because everyone has been so nice, but it's the equivalent of a McDonalds of pediatric clinics. It's nice to be seen by someone same day, but it's always a different provider and always a different result. For some parents, I'm sure this works great, but for us we will be switching care to our family practitioner who has an interest in getting to know about us as people and not just patients.

  • My children have been going to the Youth Clinic since they were born 17 years ago and 10 years ago. We have always been very happy with the Youth Clinic. The staff are always friendly and appointments are easy to get whether you are scheduling a well care check or a sick visit. The nurses and doctors and physician assistants are friendly and great with kids. The doctors we have seen the most are Dr. Elliott (he's retired), Dr. Gunther and Mary Baker (she might be a phys. assistant). The Youth Clinic is always
on time. We also very much appreciate being able to drop in for a strep test without an appointment especially since my kids are prone to getting strep every fall/winter. We also love that they take sick appointments on Saturdays and we have never had a problem getting an appointment.

  • We were able to get a same day sick appointment and go in to see the nurse practitioner. She did a strep test and looked at his throat, and the culture came back negative. No antibiotics were prescribed, which I like - I don't want my kids to take them when unnecessary so I like it when a doctor's office is conservative with prescriptions. We were advised that it was a virus and he needed to stay out of school until he was 24 hours fever free, so he did and had a doc excuse.

  • We had a great experience with Pediatric Associates of Northern Colorado. For our first appointment, we were able to get both kids in at the same time within a week of me calling to set up the appointment. All of their new patient forms are available online, which made the initial check in process go much faster. They have a great play area in the waiting room for the kids. Although we only waited about 15 minutes before going back, my kids didn't want to leave the waiting room because they were having too much fun. The paintings on the walls and the decor give off a warm and friendly vibe throughout the office. The staff was very friendly. We saw Dr. Grunloh on this visit. She took her time with us, answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed.
Our second visit was a couple of months later. My son had pink eye. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment within a couple of hours. Again, we had a very short wait time before we were called back. This time we saw Dr. Markley. She was very gentle with my son, who didn't really want anyone messing with his eye at the time. Again, she too answered all of our questions and took her time with us.
I'm very glad that we have found PANC and would highly recommend them to anyone.

  • The office is outdated - but I'm not there for the waiting room! The staff are pleasant and attentive. The physician, PAs and nurses all listened well and helped determine a course of action. We were in and out of there quickly - but not too quickly, we didn't feel rushed.

  • They are located in 3 places, I can get in quickly and that is why I like them. I chose them because they are covered by my insurance and also because of their location. I asked the lady from whom we bought the house, she has 2 kids and she also uses The Youth Clinic. The office was really cute and clean. It was my first time and they were on time and quick. They knew that I didn't have a charge for my baby checkup which was nice.

  • She's good with both kids and parents.  She explains things to both parents and kids.  She is very busy, so you have to plan ahead to get in to see her.  I've been using her for about five years.

  • I always have a positive experience there. The only complaint I have is that they are booked well in advance for well visits. I guess that is just testimony to the quality of services. I have taken both of my kids there since 2008 and have never been unhappy with our visits.

  • She is wonderful and everything about them is good. We have lived here for a year now; we started when they were 10. They are patient and understanding, refer you to other people if you need to. We have had very good luck with them. I would highly recommend them, compared to other pediatricians, they are available at all times, and they are easy to get into as far as appointments. I think they understand about our positions, informative I don't know how to say nice about them. They are very good and never had a problem with them.

  • My husband, I and all our kids go to this practice. Their staff is always friendly and the doctors are prompt with calling you back. They are really responsive and are nice and genuine. When you go to them it does not seem like you are wasting their time. I will use them again in the future.
