  • We were not pleased that the battery wore out so quickly, but we were very pleased with their response.  It gives us a lot more confidence in their product.  I would still prefer to pay less per month, but other than that, we're satisfied.

  • On phone service was great.  They even follow up.  The installation was very simple and I had the system up and running in no time.  The Angie's List deal made this very affordable.  We chose this over ADT which we've had for many years.  I like the wireless aspect and the fact that I can control the system remotely with an app on my phone.  There are also options to add components at any time, including flood sensors, and the ability to control the lights remotely.  I am very pleased with the system.

  • It was so easy to set up the self-install system. Just stick, call, and you're done. Amazing!!!! I did however accidentally set off the alarm (the app that goes with it Alarm.com didn't update correctly) and it seemed that Front Point took a few minutes too long to respond. I don't know if it is because they noticed I finally disarmed the alarm, but I felt it was still a little long to call me. However, when they did call they were very professional, helpful and completely understanding (I have also learned my lesson).They didn't make me feel dumb and asked if there was anything else they could do. We also received a confirmation of security so we could get the discount on our home owners insurance.

  • The transfer of alarm monitoring was flawless and I find the service to be more responsive and consciencious than the prior company (a national company with a 3 alphabet letter name).  SafeMart people were pleasant to deal with and helpful at every stage.  They even give you their names and email addresses if you have follow-up questions. 
    We've had a few false alarm triggers with some guests visiting and the monitoring company was prompt and thorough in calling them in.  You never know if all of this will work when you're not home and a real alarm is turned in, but the way they handled these false alarms is reassuring and better than my prior experience with the other alarm company.
    On the negative side, I found their website advertising a bit misleading in that I thought I could simply switch my hardwired system to them by programming a new phone number for it to call.  They required me to buy a new cellular device to connect to the alarm panel and pay a higher monthly rate for cell service.  This is clearly a better system in that we are no longer susceptible to an intruder cutting the phone line to the house, but it leaves you wondering if you were sucked in by a teaser price and forced to buy an expensive piece of hardware that is not necessary.  How does anyone get the lower rate if they require you to use cell service?  There is also a 1-year contract required which I would have like to have been more clearly stated.
    There is a bit of initial confusion with the various names of SafeMart, LiveWatch and the company that actually tracks the alarm system, named CMS.  However, so far it all works well and I'm pleased with having made the change.

  • We are satisfied with the service they provide. It's been fine. We've never had to use it so they haven't had to report. Any time I go out of town I call them to let them know and they are great.

  • Within 48 hours of having a phone installed at our new house, ADT's computer-generated sales system called our house to give me the opportunity to talk with a rude salesman. He was told to take that number off ADT's call list. Three other salespeople have been told the same thing. And there are other ADT calls we didn't answer.

    My experience with businesses has been that rude, obnoxious, persistent sales offices are that way because they have poor quality goods/services to offer. If they can't get it correct that I don't want them calling my house whenever it is convenient for them, what is the likelihood that they will get it right with the service they offer? I'm not gambling on them beating the odds.
